I have looked at this diagram for more than I care to admit and cannot find Life is Strange, where is it, Literally one of gayest games from mid 2010s.

Okay so I have realized that every video game that has a big LGBTQ+ fan base falls into one of 3 categories and I have spent years of gay science calculating and doing math until I perfected the formula and I can now present to you:

I used a combination of the prompt “The Sweetest Blood” with a hint of the “Stay With Me” prompt. I went for something different and wrote it in a journal entry type style from the perspective of one of my characters. It did go a little of the rails but I hope you enjoy nonetheless. Honestly I am slightly concerned for this characters mental health though XD.

TW: Blood & Violence

He said I had the sweetest blood, He had said that others were bitter, He said that I was different. He said… I- I wanted him to stay. I wanted to remain in his arms forever, that warm and soft embrace. I didn’t understand why. I didn’t understand any of it. Why wasn’t I scared? When he threatened me, When he ran that knife along my throat; I didn’t even flinch. It was like I was in a trance. Maybe I was? Maybe I wasn’t… How am I to know? Maybe I wasn’t scared because I didn’t care; I didn’t care what happened to me, after all I had nothing to lose.

 But why didn’t I scream? Isn’t a murderer in your home supposed to make you scream? Isn’t it supposed to make you wanna call for help? Isn’t it supposed to send fear and dread through you? make you think, “Oh no I’m about to get murdered.” But no. He let me go because I was “no fun” because I didn’t scream and I didn’t fight. I just stood there and let him do what he wanted. He cut me like he wanted a reaction but still, I didn’t flinch. I told him “You can kill me if you want,” and he stopped.

 I know he would’ve killed me but why did I want him to stay with me? His touch was warm, his hands were soft. The way he spoke made me feel like I was special. Then he was about to leave and before I knew what I was doing I said “stay.” what was wrong with me? Did I really have a death wish? “Stay with me,” I repeated. I wanted to see his face. I wanted to know what was under that mask of his. “You’re strange, you know that?” He walked closer to me and cupped my face. 

Over and over again I asked myself what I was thinking, but my brain never answered. He lightly ran his blade along my cheek. I felt the warm blood drip down my cheek and he- He licked it off. Like some sort of vampire or something. But those weren’t real right? He must’ve been an absolute psycho. I should’ve told him to “get the fuck out and don’t come back psycho.” I didn’t have the heart. He licked his lips and told me my blood was sweet, before saying that he had to leave and that I should be smart enough not to tell anyone; And I was, well unless anyone is reading this now- I trust you to be smart too though. And please, please, don’t listen to my stupid advice ever.

All of them? But we'll go with the main characters here

Sylvia has a problem taking responsibility for her actions and also taking what she has for granted and she's definitely going to face a rude awakening based on that.

River honestly pretends like she doesn't care and that's going to bite her in the back later when people actually believe that she is selfish and doesn't give a damn.

Thanks for the ask! I'll answer this for my WIP Rainy Grove which I haven't talked about for probably almost a year at this point. (Here's the wip intro if you're curious but I can't promise it's up to date)

🥲 character who deserves more recognition?

Hugh, lovely character, he's misunderstood and I can see other people either loving him or hating him for what he does in the novel. He starts off as a mystery and only shows up for a few important scenes but the story could not exist without him.

Hugh is a shapeshifter who's faced hardship and loss throughout his life which has definitely affected him, he has a good heart and wants the best for others though sometimes the way he goes about doing things for 'good' it can come off as not so good to other people.

He's a support character who serves as a sort of 'Omen' at the beginning of the story but serves a bigger role in the end (no spoilers) and I think overall I'd love to share more about him.

Thanks for the ask! Answering from Rainclouds because it is the closest to finished and I think these questions give me a lot to go on

🐕 comfort character?

Max Woods. I just want to smother them, they're so sweet and want the best for everyone without falling into the 'cinnamon roll' stereotype. They have their flaws and aren't sickening nice. They're honest and straight-forward. And honestly I just wanna give them a hug 'cause they need it.

🔫 is there a death?

Yes, no spoilers here but it is one of the main plot-points mid novel that springs other plot-lines into action.

🍻 fav dynamic duo in WIP?

River and Khari, They're just so all over the place. Khari is a newer character I've added and instantly love the man he's somehow incredibly chill but also chaotic which meshes well with River's aggressive and chaotic energy.

They go from hating each other to supporting each other, to being annoyed be each other, to being best friends in a matter of days. Sibling energy here and I love it.

Hi Kiya! thanks for the ask, I'm gonna be answering for Rainclouds since that is the WIP that I've been working on the most

🎠 what’s a tag we’re gonna be riding on the most?

Okay so my main writing tag right now is #renwrites but for Rainclouds the tag is #wip: rainclouds

🏩 is it gonna hurt the feels?

Oh 100% honey it's got all the feels in there, number one keyword for this story is bittersweet and you know there's gonna be those moments where your heart aches but also those moments when your heart sings. I plan to take y'all on a rollercoaster of emotions with this one.

🥸 tag yourself, which WIP character are you?

Ooh okay this one is interesting because I feel like all the characters in this story have parts of me. Forgive me for rambling a little here. Going with four main characters here though, I'm a little bit of each of them.

Sylvia for example embodies a lot of characteristics that I had when I was younger for example overthinking everything, putting everyone else before herself, being really shy, and curious to the point that she comes off as nosy.

Some of those are still there- I mean I am a chronic eavesdropper even when I don't mean to and I still overthink most things.

River is on the opposite spectrum for the most part but I think the main thing I relate to her on is feeling like an outsider no matter what I do (less so now because I do have communities I'm in but I still feel like I fit less than others) and also the fact that I take no bullshit, like if someone betrays me I will not hesitate to throw them outta my life or call them out. Also river is incredibly stubborn which is something I can relate to.

Finn, my lil gay boy, I mostly relate to him because he is a writer and deals with a lot of the same struggles as I do, as well as the fact that he's oblivious to a fault, like I could not name the amount of times I have interpreted things the complete wrong way simply because I did not notice. Someone could flirt with me in the most obvious way possible and I will not notice until like three days later.

Also he's young but at home is more of an adult than his mum and tends to take care of a lot of the domestic stuff, I've done this a lot my whole life, I like cooking and I cannot live in a dirty house. (oh yeah he's also a little bit of a neat freak, I'm not on his level but I like organizing stuff) and last but not least he is openly gay and himself and doesn't care if other people treat him differently because of it.

Max is a chaotic enby mess which is very me. They're overall friendly to people but also honest to the point where it can come as harsh which is very relatable to me. They're the 'weird kid' at school, and tend to hang out by themselves most of the time even though they do enjoy hanging out with others, also me.

So yeah I'm a little bit of all of them and I can't pinpoint just one that I'm the most like. (probably Finn though)

Hi there, so for the new year I’ve been writing a page a day and this is the story I wrote for the third day, I really enjoyed writing it so might as well share it. My goal is to fill my wall with pages of writing and so far so good.

{ The Color Red }

Red is the color of roses, red is the color of blood, red is the color of lust, and of anger. When you see the color red what do you think of? Is it love? Is it anger? Is it passion? What about all of them as once?

What about a bed of roses to convey romance and passion? A room with brilliant red lighting that is filled with the sugary sweet smell of roses and vanilla. Oh it sounds lovely doesn’t it? But what about the other meanings of the color red?

Now you lay peacefully in a room of passion. But what of anger and blood? A blade, now there’s a blade sitting on a table made of maple. There’s no one else there yet though, so where does the anger come from?

A person of interest enters the room, they emanate elegance and beauty as they step into the red room, wearing a crimson dress made from the finest velvet. How could this possibly turn bad? they were the love of your life. They were someone who could never turn on you.

But the thing about passion is that it doesn’t have to be fueled by love. Have you ever heard of a crime of passion? When someone is so overwhelmed by their own emotions that a fleeting dark thought turns into reality.

There you are sitting on a bed of roses, not a clue as to what could possibly happen next. You’re caught off guard as they move closer, gently running a hand along your jawline, taking your breath away. “Do you know why I’m here?” they ask softly.

You shake your head and reply with a breath of “no.”

“What do you think of when you think of the color red?”

“Roses,” You reply.

I’ll probably write a part two because I did plan to go somewhere with this. But I hope you liked it. If you did like it and you want to be reminded when part two does come out I have a taglist. I’d love to hear your thoughts
