There’s literally SO many villains I can think of that deserve a backstory, that have huge questions in the air, like,

- What did Dr. Facilier do to become indebted to the Friends?

- Why does Scar hate Scar hate Mufasa so much? Why is he so angry? Why does he have that scar on his face? Who gave it to him? How did he become friends with the hyenas?

- Ursula sings in “Poor Unfortunate Souls” that she used to be a member of the court. What happened? How did that change?

- What happened when Lady Tremaine was young that made her such a gigantic asshole?

- Or Captain Hook? How did he get to Neverland? Why is he so obsessed with Pan?

I dunno, I just feel like there were so many other villains we could have content on instead of this poorly executed bullshit that was Cruella. She didn’t need a backstory. Why can’t she just not like dogs? Why can’t she just be a villain for no reason?
