Amy lived in New York City in the Queens section of the city. Once Amy woke up, it was the year 2000, she listened to “Stronger” by Britney Spears. The lyrics made her get up and take on the day. She wore jean shorts, a red T-shirt, and pink flip-flops. Her blonde hair like Britney’s and her golden locks flowed from the top of her head to her neck. She opened the door and it rained all day. She grabbed an umbrella and walked outside.
Jump eight years later to 2008, Amy sat at the bar and waited for her girlfriend, Crista. She danced around since she was drunk and lived her best life. She listened to “Stronger” by Britney Spears.
She then listened to “Tom’s Diner” by Britney Spears.
Crista took her home and carried her onto her bed. She slept until morning. The alarm clock went off at 10:00 am and she took a shower. Her alarm clock went off and the alarm changed to “Kill the Lights” by Brintey Spears.
Crista waited for her turn in the shower. “Honey, hurry up.”
“I’ll try my best,” Amy replied.
She took a long shower and got out eventually. She danced out of the shower since she was listening to “Shattered Glass” by Britney Spears. She trotted to the bathroom and lay in bed until she was ready for the day.
She got up at lunchtime since she was tired. She didn’t have a job, so she ran errands. She went to the grocery store and the bank. However, there was a bank robber who wanted her money. The man was unnamed and armed.
He almost shot her. but he missed. The bullet ricocheted off the wall and hit the glass near the bank teller. Glass was thrown all over the place. In the eye of the teller and on the floor.
Amy ran out of the bank, the police arrived, and arrested the robber. She was happy to get out of there and took a taxi home.
She called her girlfriend and they met up at her office.
“Are you alright?” Crista asked.
“I’m fine, almost got shot, but not dead,” Amy replied.
Amy and Crista relaxed in Crista’s office. Until her boss came, kicked out Amy, and sent her home.
Amy returned home and ate lunch. She was traumatized, relaxed in her bed, and played on her phone until her girlfriend returned home.
Amy and her girlfriend returned home at 5 in the evening. Amy listened to “If U Seek Amy” by Britney Spears. The lyrics made her dance throughout the house and re-evaluate her life decisions. She went to a lesbian bar and met her girlfriend.
Amy danced the night away and drank her problems away. She took sip after sip and sip until she passed out.
Crista brought her home and took care of her.
2015, she listened to “Tom’s Diner” by Britney Spears. She lived in Brittany, near the District of Columbia, DC. She was in a diner, sat by the door at the counter, and caressed her golden locks of hair. She checked her phone and it was 9:00 am. She ordered scrambled eggs and sat at the counter.
In 2016, Amy listened to “Britney Spears - Make Me... ft. G-Eazy”. She liked the song but also hated it a little. She enjoyed it but needed more time to process it. She danced in her home, but her girlfriend, Crista walked into her dance. She stopped her, but she continued.
“Let’s go, you have an interview at the T.J. Maxx,” Crista said.
“Alright, I’m coming. I’m all dressed,” Amy replied as she looked at her red dress and twirled.
She walked out of her apartment and followed her partner to the chain store. She entered through the automatic sliding door, checked her phone, and was interviewed by the manager. The nametag that hung around his neck on a red lanyard.
After 30 minutes, Amy left the store and told her girlfriend that the manager would call her back in a few days.
A few days later, she got the job.
A few months later, Amy listened to “Private Show” as it played in a strip club. She eventually became a stripper.
A more months later, she quit and gave up on the job. The job was nasty and unclean, so she found a better job as a songwriter. She didn’t write a song for Britney, but she became a songwriter for other artists.
2020, she listened to “Slumber Party” and lay in bed and fell asleep. The songwriting worked out and she even wrote a song for Studio Skullz, an indie pop group.
In 2022, she listened to “Hold Me Closer” as covid strung along and people died. But Amy survived and lived to see another day as a songwriter.
In 2023, she listened to “Mind Your Business”, but she had to wear a mask as covid still lingered. She became a singer called Amy Alrich and one day she may even write a song for Britney.
