I think there is something to be said about how important the Rules are to Maxwell.

Gentlemen Fisting Has Rules. The Rules give him operating parameters. They keep him contained.

No rules? He goes dead-eyed. He is caked in blood. He horrifies his family not due to be rowdy, but due to his bloodlust.

The Rules are safe. They keep him from becoming an animal, they keep him a gentleman.

He can deal with being a rowdy, being rowdy has Rules. He can't be a monster. He can be 'Maxwell Gotch, a rowdy,' he is scared to be 'The Max, a monster with bloodlust.'

This is a reminder for those who handmake Christmas presents that now is not too early to start. It may in fact be a good time to start if you have a lot to make/your craft takes a long time. You should maybe start it now, whether that's brainstorming or actually doing the crafts!

after NSBU i was pretty sure the runes weren't random, and now i think i've solved them too!

the "i"s were a tiny nightmare to figure out cause they don't immediately even look like letters, but overall i like these better than the language the players got?

these characters feel more like part of a living language than a designed puzzle, it's got scrawlable shapes, the more common letters have simpler composition, and like i wonder if Cait May heard about the language scheme in the campaign and took the initiative to design it all themself before Brennan was like whoa that's too hard lemme make a more unambiguous version of this don't worry Siobhan won't solve it in twenty minutes or anything

the one thing i will let myself be obnoxiously european about is travel distances. "british people think a 2 hour drive is too long" yes ☝️ thats me i do think that. being stuck in a car is torture. i want everything important to be within walking distance of my house. the fact a lot of usamericans live multiple miles from the nearest store is terrifying to me. how do you live like that............. how do you cope...............
