You may hear a brief summary of scum villain and think, wow the teacher and student get together, that's kinda fucked up. But don't worry! By the end of the books that is FAR from the biggest problem in their relationship

it kills me how there's some tropes svsss fans will eat up everytime like shen yuan getting truth serum'd, or drunk shen yuan babbling about how much he loves binghe, or sex pollen where he has no choice but to beg for what he wants. literally our number one fantasy is this man just talking about his feelings

In case you were wondering why Spotify Wrapped sucks balls this year, and more importantly doesn't have any genre data:
Can you hear the sound of bells? That's because they're clowns. 🤡 🛎

I think so many problems online can be solved by either going "damn, not my problem" or simply sending a screenshot to a group chat

Picture with me Lavellan realizing Solas never wanted a body.
Picture her taking extra time and care to make Solas feel appreciated and seen as he now is.
Kissing his freckles. Tracing the shape of his mouth and just under his eyes. Holding his hands gently. Just feeling and adoring the shape of him.

“I shall never forget the occasion when I was visiting a school as a writer and the whole place suddenly fell into an uproar because the school tomboy - a most splendid Britomart of a girl - had beaten up the school bully. Everything stopped in the staffroom while the teachers debated what to do. They wanted to give the tomboy a prize, but decided reluctantly that they had better punish her and the bully too. They knew that if, as a child, you do pluck up courage to hit the bully, it is an act of true heroism - as great as that of Beowulf in his old age. I remember passing the tomboy, sitting in her special place of punishment opposite the bully. She was blazing with her deed, as if she had actually been touched by a god. And I thought that this confirmed all my theories: a child in her position is open to any heroic myth I care to use; she is inward with folktales; she would feel the force of any magical or divine intervention.”

One of my favourite things when reading fanfiction is when you click with an author's style so much that you adore the fanfiction you're reading, and once it's over you need more. So you go to their page and hope that there's more for any fandom you might know- only there isn't any. They've written for other fandoms you aren't familiar with and never would've thought about before.
But you're down so bad for their style and talent that they got you wading in like:

The thing is when people complain about a behaviour that may be annoying but could be caused by a disability and they're like "I don't mean people who can't help it" it's like. I'm sure you believe that and probably when you come across a clear case of disability causing it you're okay about it but. How many people are you checking with? How many people feel comfortable telling you? How many people do you judge and maybe blow up at or mock without ever considering that possibility? How narrow must your view of disability be to think you can always tell? But if you bring any of that up it's mocked and seen as derailing.
