Remember you’re not what they tell you.
You’re an idea birthed from the same source as everything else in the great unknown,
where each cell in your body carries the
same primordial cosmic fingerprint,
like everything else.
Each one of us is a dwarf infinitesimal
universe complete with the visible and dark matter.
Don’t succumb to indignation,
blood-thirsty slogans, and erosion of history.

1 billion years from now the earth will burn and everything will end. 2 billion years later the world will no longer be some blue dot in a sky littered full of them but will resemble the kind of desert wasteland you expect to meet your end in. Another billion years later the sun will become a red giant, similar to the red sun Rao that was Krypton's light before becoming a white dwarf star that illuminates the sky for but a moment before it all dissipates to nothing. Years later galaxies will collide and new stars will be born, probably from the very atoms that hold you and me together.
Why am I telling you all this?
We are so very small. In the grand scheme of things we matter about as much as the grain of sand stuck on your shoe. And we have so little time.
I don't want to waste life wondering about what ifs and the noise that consumes this world that says we can't be who we want to be because society says no. I want to jump into the ocean and see the Kraken before he suffocates and I want to touch the far side of the world where the sun sleeps. I want to find out for myself what the moon tastes like and see if there really is a city built on a conglomeration of clouds that no one has found. I want to be everything the world says I can't be and take everything it says I can't have because it's all not enough to sate my hunger. But most of all...I want to kiss you. I want to drown in your moonlit drip and want to fall asleep listening to the sound of your breath as you call me your own in your dreams. Nourish my soul with your subtle touch and make worlds out of me with the strength of your desires.
We are mayflys, we exist for a speck and are gone in the next. We are small and we don't matter but you are enough to fill a lifetime and we are enough to fill the void in the cosmos. Spread me across this land like a dandelion so I can touch everything before its gone. Lay me in your arms so I can hold everything before it's gone. I don't just want to live...I want to live for you.

Our bodies are momentary sandcastles moulded by primeval elements that clubbed together into more complex compounds, complete with stellar nurseries where we kill and re-create trillions of cells, allowing us to walk the face of this fraction of a dot, we call our planet.
