“Oh please,” she scoffs, eyeing the weapon, “I’m not taking advantage of anyone. It’s not my fault they were all so gullible as to trust a perfect stranger. All I’ve been doing is offering...suggestions.” 😊
She darted backwards, just in case the Bismuth decided to ram her through with that thing. She didn’t like the look of it, and she knew how effective the handiwork of this particular gem was.
“In any case, no, you aren’t me. And aren’t you lucky! I’m terribly broken if you haven’t noticed. But hey! We all work with what we’ve been given, dont we?” ❤️ She grinned toothily, eyes filled with a sort of manic glee that she hadn’t let out for quite some time now.
“Like look at you, Such pretty little toy you’ve made. But if you wanted rid of me, you should have stabbed me already. Now I’m expecting it” She couldn’t discount the possibility of it being used as a projectile weapon too, and so she would be ready, just in case.
The figure in the shadows kept watch. A wave of disgust came over them. While they felt pity for Cider, their actions still landed them on their bad side. All those innocent gems, shattered for what? Her unstable mind? They observed Wrath. Shaking their head as she picked up the pieces. Feelings of sadness, sadness for those lives lost. After seeing Wrath warp away, they stepped out of the shadows. "Hm."
The observer remained wholly unnoticed on Wraths end. She had still been far too lost in her own head, her current task, and the possibilities of what might be yet to come. And so she departed, unaware this entire fiasco had been witness to an unknown being.
The observer would, upon arriving to the place Wrath and Cider had just been, still find more shards. Wrath had been unable to collect them all, and many still remained scattered in the dirt, left here to be even more forgotten then the ones that had been held within the jar.

“Oh I’m so proud of you! Looks like little Homi isn’t the only one who decided to toughen up” She still didn’t move as the Bismuth continued to step towards her. “I mean, you got a new purpose and everything. Though I have to hand it to you, a couple hundred years of tracking me and I never even noticed.”
She didn’t like that. Was she truly so ignorant? Or has it only been these past few weeks where she had had a sneaking suspicion of being followed? She really didn’t need this right now. It was all she could do to hold herself together right now. Though granted the Bismuth was making it a little easier. Took her focus away from the mess that was Homi.
“Help me?” She scrunched her nose up in confusion, staring at the hand. “No. No. That makes no sense. You successfully found me and have me. I’ll ask again, what is it you want to do to me, if not stop me now? Going to have me arrested or something?”
The figure in the shadows kept watch. A wave of disgust came over them. While they felt pity for Cider, their actions still landed them on their bad side. All those innocent gems, shattered for what? 500 years..500 years..
In all technicality that was pretty much how old she was. She never really counted her bubbling as part of her lifespan..which means...500 years ago. Bismuth. She stares the figure before her, before a look of actual recognition graces her face. She stands her ground as the other approaches, refusing to be intimidated, despite her current state still being fairly fragile.
“Oh dear not. You are forgotten no longer. How could I forget the most talented weapons maker out there?” She ignored the obvious dig at her current situation with cider, merely tensing slightly at the mention.
“You’ve been following me though” she stated plainly. “So forgive me for not being as up to date on your situaion as you obviously are with mine.” Her eyes narrowed as she continued to stare at the other gem. “What do you plan to do with me then?”

She had been caught off guard, fully distracted in her own headspace. And so when she was directly addressed from an (mostly) unfamiliar voice behind her, she couldn’t help but jump slightly from the surprise. Doing her best to seem casual and recover from the shock, she spun around on the toes of one foot, much like a ballet dancer, gem shards still clutched on her arms.
“Pardon me?” She asked, eyeing the Bismuth before her. This one was so familiar. She knew them. She knew she knew them. But didn’t want to betray her current ignorance. Though now she stood here, eyeing the gem, she was sure this was who she had sensed had been tailing her a few weeks ago. Keep it cool. Keep it causal.
“A while you say? Well, no need to sound so excited about the reunion.”
The figure in the shadows kept watch. A wave of disgust came over them. While they felt pity for Cider, their actions still landed them on their bad side. All those innocent gems, shattered for what? “You heard me” she said causally, crossing her arms and eyeing the panicking Cider with barely concealed glee. Sure, this demeanor was annoying, but there was almost something hilariously cathartic about watching Cider react to the things she herself had done. Watching Cider view herself through the lens of an outsider. She was also trying to ignore the lingering fear of being forgotten, in relishing in the current beautiful facial expressions flashing across her counterparts face.
Then she took off without a word, leaving the glittering remains behind in what was obviously a panic. Wrath didn’t even stop her. Merely watching her warp away before she started scooping up the shards. She knew she wasn’t about to get all of them, especially with a smashed jar, but she could bet a good portion of them. She counted as she collected, trying to ease her mind. Sure this was funny, but it would stop being so very quickly should her memory never return. What would she do then? As fun as it had been first time around, she wasn’t sure she could deal with repeating the process of dependent manipulation all over again. And then what would she do with herself? She wasn’t ready, and once more, this would be a very stupid way for it to end.
Once she finished collecting what she could, she slowly made her own way back to the warp, following Cider back to whence they came, hoping she could figure out what to do about this situation. All was not lost just yet, it she couldn’t help but have a nagging feeling that perhaps this time around, fate had decided enough was enough, and there was nothing she could do about it.
Yet another scream had came from Cider. Not listening to one word that Wrath had to say. All she could do was struggle to get as far away as possible.
The last thing she remembered was being thrown around like a rag doll. Steven and Pearl were gone. She was left alone with this monster.
Genuine fear showed within her expression, just being able to barely flop out of the fountain. Yet nothing more, only staying in the spot she had fell not so gracefully.
Cider shook as she hugged herself, allowing herself to sob. Her best friends. They were gone. What was this gem going to do with her.
"S-stay away...stay away...stay way..."
She barely got the words out, nearly incoherent.
