So I’m 300 short for august rent (used some of the money I had to buy groceries ans pay bills) unemployment (finally filed in the right state but they need to go over my documents. listen up 🗣writing about slavery (regardless of the involvement of race) is NOT a creative liberty that you can defend by saying you have your own right to write about whatever you want or claiming it’s a way of coping. Romanticizing the idea of owning another human being, forcing them to be dependant on you, stripping them of their freedom and demoralizing their rights and values is sick and twisted. It’s not art. If your story was meant to be a dom/sub story, then it should’ve been labeled as such. Slavery, isn’t an au. The whole concept of slavery and oppressing an entire group of people has had long lasting, damaging affects that are still felt today.
