- i finally found a dnd group!!  currently playing in my first campaign and i’m riding the high (talk to me abt my gnome evocation wizard bc i love my boy with all my heart, and my one-shot leonin ranger bc i miss her a lot and all the ones i have yet to play bc i have too many) - i fell into the they/she to any pronouns pipeline, so literally surprise me and switch it up, you literally can’t go wrong lol - ???? i’m sure there’s more but what’s a morgan list if it doesn’t end with “????”

childhood

Emmett has collected leaves since childhood, and has a stack of recycled journals filled with pressed leaves that he’s labeled with descriptions of what plant it came from and said plant’s attributes, plus a polaroid or sketch of the plant.

At three years old, he was the Best Man in his father’s wedding to his stepmother.  He walked hand-in-hand down the aisle by the Maid of Honor, Gladys’s younger sister Lindsey Porter, who was 26 at the time and a couple months pregnant with her second daughter.

From the time he was all gums until he was about six, he was a biter.  Nobody was an exception.  Nobody.

college era

Emmett’s car is a used blue minivan he bought from an online classified ad.  He uses it for annual pre- and post-camp road trips every summer with his friends (and, eventually, Spring Break).  As well as actually driving himself to camp for his final few years of attendance.

He works as a barista on campus.  It may or may not (yes) be his first job (it is).

During college, he grows out his hair and wears it in a ponytail or bun most of the time.  Julie Switzer, his girlfriend in college and future wife, makes jokes and claims not to like it, but “let me brush your hair” is something she says a lot, and he returns the favor when she asks.  He taught her how to braid, having learned from his stepmother, and he lets her practice on him.

He has a black Pug named Opal and she is his baby.  He sometimes dresses her in cute outfits, matching her outfit’s colors to his, especially when they’re going out in public together.  They wear coordinating costumes during Halloween.  Since he lives on campus and dogs aren’t allowed, Opal lives two hours away with Emmett’s parents.
