There’s a major reason why Billford wasn’t as popular as Billdip when Gravity Falls was still making new episodes. Billdip was the most popular ship back in ye old gravity falls fandom for one very specific reason

There weren’t a whole lot of characters to ship the triangle with and dipper made the most sense at the time! Just about every main character was a child, or they were Stan! Dipper had the most contact and interaction with Bill, so that’s where the fandom defaulted to. Can’t have a fandom without a ship for the tumblr sexy man! We only had Ford for half of season two, and Billdip was well established by that time

That’s why Billford wasn’t too popular back then and y’all need to quit complaining and think for five minutes lol. It a really simple answer

The current revisionism in Gravity Falls fandom by people who were literally elementary schoolers when the show was airing is so funny to me like. No, people weren't shipping BillDip over BillFord because everyone was morally derelict and just loved shipping a twelve year old with a triangle that much.

Absolutely underrated in this chapter is the heartbeat sound effects that start here in Izuku's panel.

The heartbeat gets louder and louder and gets its loudest at the Kacchan reveal.

This lead up was FUCKING INSANE.

Afterward it's just silence as Kacchan looks around for Izuku and then time just slows down/stops.

I AM NOT OKAY AND I NEVER WILL BE.
