It is the big guy’s birthday!!! You will have to force him to celebrate it. He accepts gifts from Alfred and the kiddos (and JL members, depending on when in the timeline it is), but he doesn’t want it to be a Big Deal (TM).

He does know that it *is* a big deal. Every time he has another birthday, it’s another year that he’s still alive, and while he’s never been suicidal or having a death wish, he’s also never expected to have a long life. So every birthday is another success. But he won’t let it be a big deal, because he doesn’t want to explain that to anyone.

I’m super pumped and can’t wait. We’ll be building my reading list and proposal for approval over this semester/next semester so that I can hopefully enroll on thesis credits starting in August.

If I've followed you within the last couple of weeks, I apologize for the lack of interaction. I have to send in an updated draft of my research paper by Friday, so I gotta focus on that. My goal is to reach out next weekend and also do my drafts that I have here. <3
