look up some met gala outfits and pick some of the ones you think they would wear if they were to attend!

make photo cards of them! like how a lot of kpop fans do!

draw/edit a movie poster of them! if they already have some in canon, print them out of you can!

make up a signature for them! a lot of movie stars add fun shapes like stars into their signature!

so, i actually did an inventor list, if you'd like to take a gander here! ill probably make this a more general workaholic list, if that's okay ! :)

look up some nice hand creams for them to use (since they work with their hands a lot!)

create a wishlist on amazon of some nice bath products you'd like to give them to relax

write them reminder notes to let them know they're doing a good job and its okay to take breaks!

write a drabble of you taking care of them when they need it!

help make then a schedule so that they have better time management!

write them a list of self care tips! maybe you can also create a schedule for them to use when they need to give themselves a rest?

another schedule thing, but, make a water schedule! everytime they need to take a break to drink some water and stay hydrated

write a drabble or make art of your s/i giving your f/o a massage after a long hard day of work!

if your f/o gets hurt a lot while working on projects, keep a first aid kit on hand! (these are also just good to have!)

I would assume they're sore after a long day of superheroing, so, maybe look into some nice bath salts or oils they can use to relax with?

watch superhero movies! even silly little cliche movies or short films.

make a list of their silliest adventures as a super hero. have they ever saved a cat out of a tree? did the stereotypical, chasing a robber that stole an old lady's purse?

make a collage of nice outfits you would like to buy them to wear for when they aren't going superhero stuff.

if they have to work out or train, make a playlist for them to listen to when they're training

make them something to wear while they're out doing superhero things. maybe a bracelet, or a ring, or a necklace to wear? maybe it could have their superhero logo on it?

make up a date for you guys to partake in for when they have a break. maybe you go to the zoo, or the park, or something like that?

look into different day to day habits they might have to keep a straight face during interrogations. do they ask you to "pretend" to be a suspect in a case?

make a list of some of the craziest (or funniest) information they've come across when doing their spy things.

what's a crazy out there cold case they're confident they can solve? something like db cooper, for example. something where no one gets hurt, but the facts around it are so insane they're confident they could solve it.

do they have a favorite mystery novel? make a goodreads list of mystery/thrillers they'd enjoy!

watch them old fashioned Sherlock Holmes type of movies!

learn about body language and interrogation tactics! what kinda tactics would employ when talking to a suspect?

do they wear a typical "detective trenchcoat"? if they do (or don't) draw them in one! maybe draw them in one of them detective hats and a pipe (you know the ones)

if your spy f/o fits that "evil spy with a cat on their lap", do they have one? if not, look into different animals they would have as their "evil sidekick"

write a drabble of you guys going to an escape room together!

make one of those red string boards of evidence of a case they worked on in canon! if they don't have one, make one up!

make a pendant of one of your fingerprints to gift them! maybe you could make it into a ring or a necklace.

if you like to indulge in a little time traveling yourself, make a list of places you'd want to travel to. write down some things youd want to do while you were there!

(cop out answer) make little clock jewelry for yourself! could be an actual clock, an analog clock, clock hands, maybe?

go to random dot orgs calendar dates randomizer and randomize a few dates in history! look up "what happened on xx/xx/xxxx" and make a date out of it!

if they travel via a machine, take a box, print out pictures of what the inside and outside looks like, and adhere them to the box! mini time traveling machine in your bedroom hazzuh

write fake letters from historical figures to your f/o. do they have beef with certain people?? love them?? are they arch nemesis with different people in history???

alternatively, if your f/o has made it into some history books for their shenanigans, write up a fake history book article about them (EDITED HISTORICAL PICTURES INCLUDED)

have they encountered an extinct animal? do they time travel back just to see it again? if so, and you're able, buy a plushie of that animal (if they exist)

write a drabble or a fic of them trying to convince your s/i of something crazy they saw happen. just absolutely bonkers. are they telling the truth? maybe. maybe not.

make a playlist of tunes for them to listen to when they're time traveling. even better, make a playlist of music for them to show to a 15th century orphan child

look up different time traveling hoaxes/conspiracies. were they behind them??? if they were real and they were NOT behind them, does your f/o know this other time traveler???

anon I loved this and I will tell you why. one time two years ago I edited gaster into a renaissance painting and I giggle about it from time to time so please do that with your f/o it will spark joy

Painfully similar to the mechanic one but uhh stuff if your f/o is an inventor? (I have 2 that are like steampunk-esque inventors LMAO)

make a Pinterest board of things you think they should make (or you think they would!)

make a list of nonsensical things they should try to invent (self feeding spoon, self cleaning dishes)

if you're able, buy a tool box! decorate it like they would. most of them are like $20 at walmart (also, it's just handy to have a toolbox if you don't)

do they have any famous inventor inspirations? if they don't, make a list, or, make up your own famous inventors (especially if their source has cool inventions we don't have in our world)

similar to the mechanic one, draw up fake blueprints! especially if there's something in canon they've made. (there's blueprint makers online you can fool around with)

since you said yours are steampunky, make an Amazon or Etsy list of steampunk accessories you think they would like

make a list of things you think they would want to make better. "I don't like how laptops function and work, I think I could entirely rework them"

look into different books you think they would read that detail the history of different inventions throughout history!

if they would have fun going to a museum of sorts, plan a museum date with them! there's a national inventors hall of fame in virginia, if you wanted to use that.

make up a fake journal of them writing down their ideas of things to make. they don't have to be written out in excruciating detail, nonsensical ramblings work too. you could make it a notes on your notes app!

look into different awards they may have won for their inventions! and if you're able, buy a fake copy of the reward if there's a physical version, or, you could make it yourself.
