so let's talk about why i don't think men have genuinely-held political beliefs, and why i think men only pretend to possess morality when their ideology is socially or politically expedient.

pick an ideology, any ideology, and at its center you will find a man who implores, with his actions, to do as i say and not as i do.

you have strom thurmond, a lifelong white supremacist who had an entire second family with a black woman. you have black nationalist figures like louis farrakhan who teach that miscegenation is against the will of god, all while he has half-white children.

you have the men who run the catholic church and publicly guide morality in all things, all while secretly raping and tormenting children and paying to cover it up.

you have the men who rule the theocracies in the middle east who rail against the west and claim their holy texts demand the beheading of homosexuals and that women play a subservient role in society by practicing extreme "modesty". they do this all while fucking white american prostitutes, spending their wealth on western excess, and engaging in the oppression of their own people in a kind of autocratic capitalism that would make elon musk blush with envy.

and don't get me started on the anti-gay preachers and politicians who hire rent boys. we all know them.

you have men i used to admire, like noam chomsky, who speak publicly about the evils of capitalism and prostitution, all while associating with and defending rapists, traffickers, and industrialists in his personal life.

you have men like karl marx, who decried the manner by which labor is stolen by wealthy men, all while stealing the intellectual labor of his wife and refusing to give her credit for her ideas.

i am sure any number of male hypocrites popped into your own heads as you read this. i am actually hard-pressed to think of a single man who has been shown to be intellectually honest and ideologically sound in his intentions and his praxis.

i advise you to stop listening to men, and to stop following male-founded ideologies, because these dudes believe in nothing at all.

Liberal feminism has failed women

"It is not exactly hard work being a liberal feminist. Nothing has to change, no challenge to the status quo is necessary and men do not need to be admonished. In other words, things stay the same and the quest for individual enlightenment and liberation becomes key. “My body, my choice” is one of the most recognised slogans of second-wave feminism. This is because, prior to the many achievements of the women’s liberation movement, women’s lives were defined by the absence of choice. Women had little or no say over whether or not they married or had children, or even about sexual practice and pleasure. Feminism created a landscape in which women could, to an extent, exercise choice. But lately, the concept of “choice” has been co-opted by liberals to mean acquiescence to harmful practices that benefit men. [...] Liberal feminists are so scared of offending men that they bend over backwards to maintain the status quo as opposed to seeking proper liberation for women. They are happy to be given a seat at the table where they might get thrown a few crumbs, rather than taking an axe and smashing it to smithereens. If men support a particular type of feminism that should be a clue as to its ineffectiveness. Feminism should be a threat to men because we are seeking liberation from patriarchy, which means that they lose the privilege they were afforded at birth by simply owning a penis."
