Feraveli and otherpaw are two terms that I really enjoy. I think they help break therians out of the stereotypes that tend to be placed on us without getting rid of something that (I personally see) is a part of our culture.

Doing quads and wearing maskes, and dressing in certain aesthetics doesn't make us therians even if it is something that we tend to do and mean a great deal to a lot of us. And these terms also gives outsiders a chance to enjoy what they want without getting tangled up in the therian community.

very true statement : not all physical nonhumanity come from delusions .

good thing to know and spread this , this community is not one singular thing with one singular experience . like any other nonhumanity , wide variety of origins and experiences here !

still , important not to rely on this as defense . phrases like " respect physical nonhumans , because not all is delusional " push away those who happen to be both . think about how that sound , even on accident , that delusion do cancel out respect .

all deserve kindness , dignity , and autonomy , regardless of why and how .
