I recently had a 1989 inspired photoshoot done. This album has a special place in my heart, I went to my first Taylor Swift concert in this era. To me, 1989 represents finding yourself, but having fun while doing it. In my life, I finally content. I feel free. I'm enjoying life, and I'm so excited that I'm starting college. I can't wait for these next four years. Here's to my journey of becoming a nurse. Side note: LISTEN TO LOVER. 13 years ago, Taylor Swift released “Tim McGraw” and little did I know it would change me entirely. At the time, I was just a 4 year old girl with wide eyes and big dreams, but the love I had for Taylor was real. From her debut album to “Lover”, I have followed her words and actions and seen her do amazing things. I feel so genuinely lucky to have grown up in such a way where I had a positive constant in my life to help guide me through so many storms.

I remember putting on a show for my parents while wearing a little pink skirt and singing “Picture To Burn”.

I remember dancing to “You Belong With Me” with my sisters and mom.

I remember taking videos of myself singing and dancing to pretty much every Taylor song ever. (I’ll spare myself the embarrassment and not include those😳)

I remember crying to “Dear John” (especially in recent teenage years😂).

I remember singing “Red” (#RedDeservedAGrammy) and “Mean” at my family reunions and “Holy Ground” and “We Are Never Getting Back Together” at the school talent show.

I remember watching the “Shake It Off” video about a thousand times.

I remember crying when my parents bought me tickets to see her perform during the 1989 world tour.

I remember touching mama swift’s hand but not being able to tell her thank you for supporting her daughter and watching her shine.

I remember getting to meet Melanie and Kamilah (background vocals) after the show and freaking OUTTT!!

I remember reading the gossip and false claims that the media put out about Taylor and crying but I also got to read her poems and see how she grew from it and came out better than she ever was.

I remember Taylor giving the “It was you” acceptance speech at the Grammys. That was ICONIC!

I remember the thrill of hearing “reputation reputation reputation reputation” over the speakers on tour right before Taylor came out.

I remember how “there will be no explanation, there will just be reputation.”

I remember reading her 30 lessons while I was at school and crying because of laughter and sadness.

I remember the inside jokes that we all get to share with Taylor. “No, it’s Becky”😂

I remember seeing her be kind to everyone, even those who weren’t always kind to her.

I remember how she wrote “Long Live” just for us.

I remember the rude comments people would make about me because I love her.

I remember not caring because she meant the world to me and no one could ever take that away.

I remember the sleepless nights when we would all hope she’d post something or drop a song.

I remember when TAYLOR LIKED A LOVER COLLAGE WITH MY FACE IN IT AND I CRIED!!!😭😭

I remember it all.

Now, as the 7th album, Lover, is about to come out, I am able to look back at all of these memories and see how as Taylor grew, I grew.

From the age of 4 to now me being almost 18, Taylor has been there through it all and I will be forever grateful for that. As I enter my senior year of high school, I have been looking back at my life and thinking about all that has happened. I lost many friends, there were countless struggles, but I’ve come out on top just like Taylor and I’m so proud of both of us for that.

Thank you Taylor for all that you’ve done for me and for so many. I will never be able to put it into words how much you mean to me, but I can tell you that no matter what happens, you will always have my support and love.

I want anyone who reads this to help create a thread of what you remember most in the past 13 years of Taylor!!!

It saddens me to watch as scooter tried to take away your legacy by owning your 12 years of work, but I don’t think we should let it ruin this new era.

It’s all butterflies and rainbows now and no one can take that away!!!!
