Being in the friend zone is fine for betas like me because, even though you don’t deserve to, you get to spend time in the presence of a beautiful woman. And being a simp for her is also a fair trade-off for betas like me because, if you’re not serving some purpose for her, why would she afford you the privilege of her company? You know you don’t belong, you know she is too good for you, and you know she belongs with an alpha male, which is so dramatically different from what you are, a polar opposite in fact. So it’s all well and good, you accept it and just appreciate the opportunity to be around her. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt. The emotional pain and anguish can be extreme, like when she puts on her favorite jacket and heads out for a date, smiles radiantly, and asks you “how do I look?”. You answer truthfully, “you look amazing, beautiful… you’re a goddess.” “Aww thank you sweetie,” she replied smiling, maybe touches you on your arm as she strides past you and out. You take a moment, close your eyes, sigh, swooning as she closes the door behind her. Ok, well, I guess it’s time to get to work… so much laundry and her apartment’s a mess…

I’m not good enough for her, so I settled for friendship. She would tell me all about guys she liked and her dates, but I never said much. When she would ask me about girls I liked, I wouldn’t answer because she was the only one for me. But it turned out, she thought it was because I was gay. One day, she told me about this hot guy she was dating and that he had a friend for me so we should go on a double date. I said I wasn’t sure and asked her to tell me about her boyfriend’s friend, was she pretty? She said “come on now, don’t you think I know you better than that?”. She saw the confusion on my face and went on “look, it’s ok. I know you’re gay, and it’s nothing to be ashamed of. That’s why I’ve found a really nice guy for you. He’s a gentle giant type, really tall and muscular, but intelligent and understanding. He’ll be perfect for your first date with man. And don’t worry, he’s already seen a pic of you and thinks you’re really cute! He just had one request, about what you wear, so I promised to help with that. See, he like his guys to be on the feminine side because he is always the top in his relationships. Don’t worry I have a perfect outfit for you- one of my nice soft sweaters. You’ll just love it!”
I was so stunned I didn’t know what to say, and she was so happy and excited, I didn’t want to disappoint her, so I went along. I actually wore a fuzzy pink woman’s sweater in public, and went on the date. He was nice but quietly aggressive and insisted that We all go to his place with him to watch tv. I found myself next to him on his couch, his big musclular arm around me. At some point, he turned toward me, pushed me gently but firmly onto my back and began kissing me and touching me. The rest was a blur, as he had his way with me all night.
The next morning, he dropped me off at her place so I could return her sweater. She asked how I enjoyed my evening, and I told her it was nice. She has turned me gay.
