I have gotten so many messages on Fictionpress offering "High quality art for low prices" in the past month, I'm half tempted to make an expose post on them. You can't get anyone to buy your art, so you shill on random stories? Classy.
At least most of them take no for an answer.

I would love to hear about literally any of your blorbos :3
Or just whichever one is being the most annoying rn
The one being most annoying (to other characters) is probably Morsardis.
Morsardis is the son of Hades and a now extremely apathetic Persephone, who has become a bit of a mega bitch after centuries of being in the Underworld. She does little but tend to her gardens, and rows of peach and pomegranate trees, avoiding her husband as much as possible. Hades, for his part, spends him time buried in paperwork, the addition of the internet to the Underworld reducing the listing of souls from centuries to a few years at a time. It's a never ending job, as more people join the throng of the dead, leaving Hades little attention left for anything else (including his son).
The Underworld has changed to match the modern times, and has become a neon soaked wasteland of urban sprawl, with dirty alleys, burned out liquor stores, and degrading apartments. A different sort of hell then classic myth, but still the same space.
Morsardis is physically 21, but age wise is a couple of centuries. He's in a rebellious phase, and escapes the Underworld as often as he can. A "backdoor" that's meant to be watched over by Persephone (Who no longer cares enough to do that little, and often partakes of her own lovers on the side) allows his escape. He spends time in Maine, with his boyfriend, Kyle, who is completely aware his perfect lover isn't even human. If Hades ever discovered this, Kyle would likely be mindwiped or destroyed, depending on Hades' mood.
He was in a short story gift for a friend, but I liked him so much I gave him a character sheet for possible later use. He's too good to just leave behind.
Another major trouble maker is Tristan Sanderson: originally intended to be a son of Sinbad (I went through a phase...) he's now more of an action hero in the vein of Brendan Fraser in the Mummy, exploring ancient ruins, forsaken fae cities, and forgotten tombs with his faithful friend Miko (Who also sometimes doesn't exist, is sometimes Tristan's lover, and is sometimes a woman. These things happen with fluid mythologies).

This blog is NOT dead: things have been difficult lately, and I've literally written four paragraphs at the most.
However, I'm planning to post some of my older stories on here, a few playlists for stories/characters, and some other stuff.
As always, asks and writers tags are welcomed and even encouraged: 2025 is going to be a good year for writing.

I've been porting stories from my DeviantArt to a Fictionpress account, mostly because DA is terrible for writing. Makes it easier to share things, but everything has to be reformatted. Fictionpress screws up paragraph spaces, for some dumb reason.
Anyway, expect to see some story links. I'll probably post more recent stuff. Feedback is always welcomed, since I never get reviews beyond art commission spams these days.

馃憠 馃憟 could I trouble you for a Lestrain infodump?
Always 馃憖
Infodump ahead:
Lestrain was the second child of King Riven Wintersenn, who ruled the kingdom of Gold Winde that was falling into ruin thanks to an ongoing war with the dark elves. Riven was strict, and the death of his wife, followed by the tragic death of his husband fifteen years later, had left him cold hearted.
(Lestrain was 200 years old, but was more or less 20 in human years)
Lestrain's older brother, Laurent, was the perfect image of a prince: wise, collected, silent when needed, loud when it was called for. He had married the princess of a forest kingdom, and produced nine children so far, each the image of their father.
Lestrain, however, was the classic wild child: in and out of pubs, in and out of beds, here for the good times and living like tomorrow would never come.
Riven grew tired of this, and arranged a forced marriage with a princess from a far off kingdom, assuming this would reign Lestrain in and make something of him.
When Lestrain's affair with Dragmaur, prince of one of the last dwarven kingdoms left in the world, came to light on his wedding day, Riven had had enough.
Lestrain was stripped of his royal title, and exiled from the kingdom, becoming a wandering bard for awhile, and making his way in the world with a ton of nonsense, things exploding, romantic tension, and a murder or two.
Non canon (somewhat) from a DnD campaign I used him for: Lestrain learned basic magic over the course of his travels, and managed to get himself trapped on a ship headed for the mines of a distant country. Escaping with a half elf, a human archer, and a tiefling, he fought a clutch of harpies to retrieve a golden skull, killed a rebel human who tried to assassinate the king, and became friends with an immortal child carrying the spirit of a god from a dying world.
You know, the usual.
Also non canon (From a Sims 4 playthrough, but it was cute so it's sometimes added for fun): Lestrain moved into a small farming village, and took up gardening to make his living quietly. Until he studied mischief magic, took on a high mage in battle, defeated said mage, and became a teacher of mischief magic at the school for spellcasters.
The farm was tended by a living scarecrow, Patches, and prospered.
Infodump thoroughly dumped!

Current WIPS master list
A list of my current WIPS, all of which have no current release schedule, but will get posted when finished:
Dragon Ronin: a novella about a former samurai, Toshi Yagmura, discovering massive pits tearing apart the earth and dumping monsters from another plane of reality onto innocent people. He works with a disgraced royal elf, Shin Redbriar, to fight a massive, war trained dragon escaped from a group of rebels from destroying all of Japan. Historical drama with (obvious) fantasy elements.
Currently 4 chapters, with chapter 5 in progress. Got scrapped and fully rewritten, so the end date is anyone's guess.
Tide of Deception: A short story about a crew of pirates lost somewhere off the Florida keys, and landing on a strange island. Mermaids lurk beneath the waves, eager for fresh meat, but the captain might just be saved thanks to a hidden relationship, as the taste of a faithful man is poison to the carnivorous creatures.
Nearly complete, probably posted in January.
The Other 364 Days: a Christmas story about what happens the other 364 days in the Pole, with long work hours, draining magic, and a Saint Nicholas with a god complex ruining the lives of the elves. Drama/semi dark comedy I'm almost done with. Posted before Christmas.
Cat Breath: A single father moves into a rundown apartment with his daughter, finding leaking ceilings, warped floors, and an overabundance of feral cats. When children start dying in the apartment, he discovers the cats are not what they seem, and thrive on the stolen breath of humans.
Back burner, since it keeps stalling.

Writeblr intro
I'm not 100% sure how to write this, so just going to wing it.
You can call me Wolgerr. I'm 29, he/him, bi (polar and sexual) for anyone who wants to know.
I mostly write fantasy, but I dabble in horror and mystery. I write about sirens seeking brides to keep up blood debts, elves fighting against dark forces destroying their forests, and samurai battling dragons from another plane of reality.
If any of this nonsense seems like a good time to you, follow this blog: I'll be posting previews, links to completed works, playlists for stories and characters, and oc information about my weird little guys who run around in my stories.
