Tonight Councilman Huizar @cmjosehuizar is celebrating the closure of the 6th Bridge. It is a sad farewell we bid to this bridge that we've hosted bike races on at first as illegal street races and then with Mr. Huizar's support legal. In 2013 at the #civiccentercrit 14 year old Sean McElroy beat a field populated with cat 1 veterans and accomplished men to become the youngest Dog Tag holder thus far. In 2015, 52 year old Texas legend, Chris Carlson became the most senior person to date to win a set against an international field replete with accomplished track bike crit superstars at the #wolfpackhustle #AustinFinale photo by @jasonlee210

The lead pace vehicle was operated by Scott Dollahite who is no ordinary driver. In fact Scott was born into a motorsports family. His father Bill Dollahite raced for Ferrari (333SP) in IMSA World Sports Car Championship and American LeMans Series. Scott started racing karts at age 4, and began his car racing career at 16 with Mazda. He has competed in over 100 national races in 20 years with (4) kart championships, (2) SCCA championships and podium finishes in Rolex, PCA and FIA.. He was a factory Driver for Lotus in 2013 with 2 podiums and 1 track record. Scott currently holds sanction licenses in IMSA, SCCA Pro, PCA, BMWCCA, IndyCar, and FIA
