Fun fact about European Starlings is that they man mimic other birds and sounds! Starlings can also mimic human speech, car alarms, and phone rings. For example, one starling was taught to imitate R2-D2’s sounds.

I’m using this idea for a larger painting, so having a practice getting their vibrant and beautiful colours just right.
