so yknow how schools will have those unofficial, student-run meme accounts?
well i was thinking about what that’d look like for UA:
i imagine the account is run by a trio of incredibly jaded third year non-heroics courses students who’ve all agreed to drop out together to work at kfc if they can’t make it to graduation

So Toga says she can't get it out (her quirk) and that she tried using, and while she should be able to because she "loves" Tomura and Touya-kun, she just can't. Ochako notices how unhappy all the Twice clones are.
I think the... factor in all this is going to be Toga realizing how broken all of them are...were. That without Twice to hold things up, the League fell apart precisely because of what Compress told us:
"A collection of warped minds who never bothered prying into each other's pasts."
This wasn't a good thing. It was good for acceptance, but it wasn't what they needed all along because most of them were hurting regardless. They didn't feel a need to open up with another, especially outside of Twice and Toga, and that's the problem because so much of this manga is about trusting others, reaching out to others and allowing yourself to be vulnerable. Sako straight up told us that in the end they didn't fully do that. Twice's quirk depends on "knowing" stuff about the other person. Twice would memorize things he measured to have some good spatial idea of the person. But Toga functions differently. To her knowing someone is likely something else entirely and in a space like the League, where outside of Jin and his open humanity, she didn't fully grasp the others.
To put in real life terms, there's friendships where you enjoy things with other people, where you work for similar goals, but you come out from meeting up still not knowing the other people well. You have no idea of their inner life, their inner thoughts. And that's what's happened here. It wasn't deep enough, I think, and that's the tragedy of it all. Where they wanted love and acceptance, in trying to create a facsimile of it, there just wasn't openness to start with.
Sure they wanted a place where they'd be accepted who they are, but that's not the end all be all of friendships and friend groups. The next steps to really get to know each other were not taken as a group. And we're seeing the result here. They're splintering. They should have pried.
It just wasn't enough and now it's gone.

i’ve seen a lot of really messed up images in my time on the internet, weird fetish shit, even a few IRL gore images but nothing. NOTHING evokes such a deep seated, gut wrenching fear in me like this image of the fucking water slide from Action Park with the loop in it

which fanfic writer problem are you?
fic hopper: working on a wip and don’t know where to go next? easy, just work on a different wip, then if that one doesn’t work out, open a different one, it’s foolproof!
all my tropes are dead: there are only so many ways you can describe a kiss, and you’ve written so many between this pairing that you’re running out of ways, don’t talk to me about the words ‘chaste’ and ‘soft’ ever again
unsung hero: im writing a fic under a certain set of tags or concepts to get more hits but the real story is about __ extremely specific thing that only i and two of my closest friends care about
rarepair hell: self-explanatory
wlw rarepair hell: like rarepair hell but one level worse
my last braincell: you’re a perfectionist so you’ll either post this chapter when it’s perfect or not at all
wandering eye: a side element or original character you introduced in your story is now near and dear to your heart but no one else will care about it
im well educated and will kick your ass: you’ve done so much research for this but can’t seem to write the damn thing
all talk and no action: you were going good until you got to this necessary climactic action scene and now it’ll have to wait for three months

The never-ending circles of hell I'm stuck in:
Toga's deal is that self repression is bad -> Uraraka's repression of romantic love is actually beneficial to her -> Where Will This Subplot Lead To? -> ??? -> repeat
this is a mainstream action shounen manga, "control your heart" and everything else that Bakugou and Midoriya have going on can't possibly be gay Fr -> But Why Did He Lie? -> ??? -> repeat
Admiration, imitation and love go hand in hand -> Toga confronted Midoriya about romantic love. Why the hell did he reply with an example of platonic love -> self repression? -> ??? -> repeat
Uraraka's writing suffers from Love Interest in a Shounen Manga disease, with everything that comes with it -> the romance subplot between Midoriya and her has never actually gone anywhere, she thinks her feelings for him are a distraction and he has never shown interest in her as a person outside of thinking she was cute when they met -> I trust Horikoshi with every other subplot but I have no idea what to think of this or of what he'll make of this -> if Uraraka will get the wife with kids ending I will end it all. I don't think the situation is that dire but I literally don't know what to think at this point -> ??? -> repeat
Toga loves Midoriya, was outright rejected and told she's wrong for how she is -> Toga loves Uraraka, was rejected and told she's wrong for how she is but their conversion was a mess of incomprehension and misunderstandings -> Uraraka now knows what she actually meant -> how will she get to her and save her? -> Again this is a mainstream action shounen manga, Toga may be canonically bi or whatever other label you want to use but what she feels for Uraraka can't possibly be directly addressed Fr like her love for Midoriya was, and Uraraka can't possibly even begin to reciprocate her feelings -> ??? -> repeat

Uraraka: I’ve already sent good vibes your way. They’re coming. There’s nothing you can do to stop them.
Toga: This is the most threatening way I’ve been cheered up.

Forced Retirement AU - Although Katsuki makes a near full recovery from his injuries, he's left with a heart issue that forces him to give up hero work. Izuku helps Katsuki learn to deal with his new found anxiety, frustration and low self esteem from feeling he'd failed - Izuku reminding him, much like Allmight, he gave up his dream instead to save others and that's what makes him a hero.
Katsuki is later invited to teach at UA by Toshinori, and eventually becomes the 1A teacher, finding passion where he didn't expect, and meeting kids who were inspired to become heros because of him.

Alright. 2023. I can't believe I have to take another swing at fellow Hawks stans, but we really need to get over this.
babies, sweethearts, dudes... You can like Hawks. You can like Hawks even though he did something awful and he's wrong about it. Some of us (me) even like him more because he did something awful and is wrong about it. No one is telling you to not like Hawks or find him interesting (except maniacs who think fandom is activism).
But the story, the story is telling you he was wrong to kill Twice. Come on. It's been three years. It's old now. The killing did nothing but piss Toga and Twice off, she made what seems to be hundreds of thousands of clones of him that will not listen to anyone at this point. Keigo murdering him did not prevent what Keigo was scared of. It happened. Hawks screwed up his villain saving part of the narrative. He failed the villain Horikoshi assigned him as his counterpart! And that was Horikoshi's plan because we know the people saving their villains are Deku, Shouto, and Ochako. Okay, Horikoshi created Hawks to fail at saving Twice.
The story knows he's wrong okay? Like the ANIME has shown you he's wrong. Did you not hear the music in the background during his scene with Jeanist at his mom's house? Did you not see how he was animated after saving Nagant, how shaky and unconfident his voice was as his eye twitched while he told her he was an optimist? You know, as an answer to her question on how he lives with himself?
I mean did you not see 374? How he started yelling and looking nuts when he saw Twice again? Who the hell has a normal reaction that involves screaming about having to kill them all?
Come on now. It's over. We're done. Horikoshi's made it clear. Keigo did the wrong thing and we're approaching him finally reflecting on his actions. The debate's over, let's just move on and have fun. Please. We're not doing this for the third year in a row.
I promise you can still like Hawks even if he's a murderer with delusions and repression issues. You don't have to give up liking him because he did bad shit (even if parts of this fandom feel entitled to tell you otherwise). You can embrace that he's a gigantic moral mess, take the good of him wanting to help others with the bad of him willing to do awful things to make it happen. And if accepting that he's wrong for killing Twice is the thing that makes or breaks whether you like Keigo or not, well maybe he's just not the kind of character you should be liking.
Just take a deep breath and enjoy the ride, okay?
