Title:
Universo Sin Cabeza
2021
My final project is an illustration. For this I took inspiration from a Colombian artist that you can find her as @norellamagdaniels on Instagram. With the help of Procreate tools I was able to get the result and the message I wanted to express in this project. I took as a base the metaphor to describe how human beings are so attached to the internet and social networks. On the other hand I took objects that you probably have already seen through the internet or physical objects that create this attachment of us with technology. When you make a general analysis of the work, you can see that everything is about connectivity, whether it is us with technology, technology with itself, etc. Also, I incorporated some old details to remember the evolution of technology. Last but not least I wanted to give it the title of "headless universe" because nowadays the impact of the internet and technology is impressive as it affects the growth and development of human beings. I feel that we have reached the point where we depend on it to survive and many times we miss the beauty of interacting with nature and ourselves.

Title: FRIDUCHA
2021
I was inspired and decided to create a portrait in my own way, combining photos and paintings that Mexican artist Frida Kahlo was known for. I took a lot of reference photos to get my final result, I also experimented with others photos that in the end I decided to remove. I wanted to give it an old look but at the same time something modern and with aesthetics. I took an image from a newspaper where they narrated about her and added a final texture so that everything would take its order and could be unified.

Final
Mi Luz 🌈
I wanted to represent the inner light of every human being. I was inspired by one of the past projects about reflection. I also played with natural light to create the effect you see, similar to the reflection of water. I think that many times we don't see that we are beings of light, but simply see a shadow that we ignore. On the other hand I wanted to put the chandelier on my head to represent as a crown, since we have to take care of ourselves from the inside out and contemplate our light as royalty.

Sketch
Mi Luz
This idea is to take a chandelier and turn it into an armor/crown for my head where I would use crystals to recreate the illusion of different rays of light with the help of natural light, and where the inner soul and good vibes are evoked.
