The Doc & Marty Name Game

One of the things I’ve always noticed when watching Back to the Future is the absurd amount of times that Doc and Marty say each other’s names in normal conversation. Sometimes it seemed like they were beginning every sentence with the other one’s name, which is, you know, odd. Because I don’t know people who speak like that. 

So out of an abundance of curiosity, free time, and perhaps madness, I decided to conduct a highly scientific experiment in which I watched the trilogy and tallied up every utterance of Marty saying “Doc” & Doc saying “Marty.”

If you too have always wondered about this…you’re welcome. And if not…I’m sorry that you will now notice it every time you watch the movies.
