Does your OC love it or hate it if someone makes comparatives/comments about them relating to actual cats?

Kiba is pretty indifferent to the comments like that. As someone who is often perched high watching over things and typically landing on his feet he can understand the logical connections people draw. He's likely to redirect conversation back on task or simply blink when someone makes a comment directly to him about it.

Prompt 2: Unread Letters

I just heard the hull grinded into the shore, bags and crates tossed before we had even stopped moving. I thought we were headed to another port but for some reason we landed here. I’m worried. I know I shouldn’t have taken the contract just like you said but I wanted needed to do something. I couldn’t sit there any longer waiting for word that anything had changed.. That anyone had come home. Maybe we will find someone here. I don’t know ⚫ what to write anymore. I wish there was some trace of you, something to know if I should still keep holding on to hope. I miss you dad. - K

 I’m doing well with my studies and learning a lot. The weather, well I could use a pair of lighter clothes if you can manage to send it. Between the humid air and heat in the kitchen I keep melting faster than my chocolate. Oh, speaking of which I learned to create another interesting treat that might be a decent seller back home. If you drag melted chocolate over top of one another and add in other things like candy, nuts, sprinkles, fruit, honestly anything on top it makes for a really simple way to use up extras and people here will buy it as gifts. I’m sure others back home might buy something like that if they have a little extra coin. I’ll try and send some the next time I write. I miss you ma. - B

He hasn't settled for hours now, constantly pacing and watching. He seems agitated, more than normal but still unlikely to be a threat to the tribe. I’m fine to watch him alone, call the other off. And avoid sending anyone else this way after that, his senses are still heightened and.. Just leave me to keep watch. Likely just needs time for it to run out of his system and I’m sure he will be fine by morning. Promise me to keep the other safe until I return, I’m sorry to have left you like I did but I couldn’t risk anything more happening. I’m sorry S, I’ll explain in the morning. The Basics –––

Name: W’kiba Tia Race: Miqo’te, Seeker   Pronouns: He/Him Looking for: Any & all contacts/connections Server: Balmung - Crystal

Physical Appearance –––

Hair: Orange with teal streaks Eyes: Teal - glow when angry, one is slightly more green   Height: 5'9"   Distinguishing Features: Kiba has a very animated tail when relaxed/isn’t working - don’t be surprised if he knocks something over with it. Always has teal face markings and various scars on his face and body. At A Glance: He always has a camera on him, and does his best to blend in to the crowd. His clothes are often brown or similar colour to the city/area he’s in. His clothes are often well worn and anything that would jingle on him is some how silenced. 

RP Walk-Up Hooks –––

“Smile!” - Needing someone to capture that perfect moment? Does your character have any interesting details that Kiba might be inspired to photograph? Need to hire someone to document certain happenings.. possibly blackmail?   “According to my notes..” - Need some information, or insights to help push your own plots? Kiba is a scout by trade. He’s always willing to keep to the shadows if the gil is right.   ���Need something sharp?” - Your character struggling with cutting ties? - Kiba has your back with one of his many hidden blades.  “Sorry, who are you?” -  Kiba has a few memory issues, there is a very good chance he won’t remember your character even if you saw him the day before - that is if he hasn’t documented them in some way through photos, notes, or drawings. If something is important or related to a contract he has he uses his notes to always follow through but socially there is a good chance he won’t have a clue who you are if you didn’t make a strong enough impression.  “Hmm do you need a hand?” - Have your own idea for a scenario? I would love to brainstorm together.

What I’m Looking For –––

- Any and all connections. Friends, enemies, forgotten contacts, and anything in between. - I am happy to write any kind of scenarios, this includes mature/darker themes  as long as there is clear OOC communication. - I prefer long-term stories for character exploration and growth, I also enjoy one offs.   - Discord/in-game, scheduling is really helpful for me.  - I love taking screenshots and have done a number of weddings ic as part of Kiba’s lively-hood.

Prompt #9: Differences

The creamy soft texture of the bubbles surrounded her toes as they peaked out in the middle of the tub. Sweet local fruit sat waiting for her in a bowl on the ledge. She wasn’t used to this lifestyle but she figured soaking it in couldn’t hurt while she had it.  - @kailani-ffxiv​

The crumbly graham cracker bottom, a layer of creamy pumpkin spice mousse, a cinnamon dusted fluffy topping & caramel drizzle. While visually he wished for more, he knew the details in taste were aimed to please the customer’s request. - @baxter-ffxiv​

The soft melody drifted up as a familiar figure twisted and turned in rhythm to the tune. Teal eyes looked up from his notebook to watch the silhouette sway from his lookout spot. Regardless of years of training, the grace and confidence was something that came naturally. Others overlooked the daily practice but to him it was a reminder of how far she had come. - @wkiba-ffxiv​
