Okay, here's me, got done watching my daily episode of iron fist (pushing thru to catch up on all the marvel netflix shows before Daredevil Born Again comes out) and what do I see? Oh! @jundsthoughts already WROTE something????? Omg???

They wrote an achingly sweet and somber wonderful fluffy but also SO SPOT ON fan scene that I love!! Don't apologize at all! It's soooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD. it scratches my itch for RuneSeeker right in my heartstrings.

Also - fucking brilliant to find the Maurader's little workstation hidden in the castle. That never occurred to me but I LOVE that idea!!! And John being the number one wing-cat! Bringing him to Harry aiiiiiiiiii!!!!

I'm going to read this probably 25 times before I go to sleep. I love it so much. Also, I extra love the feels you added with Blaise and Draco tagging along JUST LIKE I PICTURE IT! Their little pack is precious beyond words to me and I love that you included them!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Fan scene of Burning of the Library

Hi, hey, so.... the timer is running down and I honestly don't know how to control myself to not make this 3x as long as I already did. Also, @wixenforever, I apologise cause idk how to properly write any of them nearly as well as @that1notetaker can write RuneSeeker lol. Anyway, uhhhh...... here you go I guess? Some Halloween 1995 for ya.

“Theo?” Blaise questioned, eyebrows furrowing as Theo turns on his heel to leave, only steps inside the Great Hall.

It was loud today, more than it usually was. Halloween. He'd never enjoyed the day, not for many years at least. What he hadn't noticed in the past years, was Harry not being present for any part of the day. Theo remembers the story of Third Years’ Halloween adventure.

Because, of course, Harry’s godfather would break into the supposedly safest wizarding space in Britain on the anniversary of his parents' death.

He wonders where Harry might be, thinking back to their time in the Astronomy tower and the Hogwarts library before dismissing both options; Harry used both as escapes more often than not.  Hogsmeade was out of the question, if he wasn't in the Great Hall.

Theo pulls up short in the Entrance Hall, barely paying attention to both Draco and Blaise skidding to a stop behind him, before he sighs and turns towards the stairs and begins heading down. Draco huffs about something, likely about Crabbe and Goyle’s stomachs, but he pays it no mind.

The kitchens are empty, save the house elves, who he resolutely does not think about. Quietly taking the plate of buttered toast, only to quell the lecture Draco would give him, again, if he didn't eat something. He rolled his eyes as he took a bite, climbing the stairs once more as he racked his brain for where Harry might have taken refuge.

Options like the Quidditch Pitch, the Lake - which confused him after the detailed account he'd gotten about the second task - and various nooks and crannies through the castle ran through his head. Each of them, unfortunately, were both as likely and unlikely as the rest. He'd search them all, of course, because Merlin knew he needed a distraction today as well.

“Theo!” Draco's voice calls, causing him to slow to a stop on the stairs. “Why are we running around the castle? If you've lost something, just Point Me.” He huffs.

Theo blinks for a moment before shaking his head, “They don't work on Harry,” he says idly before he continues walking.

“Why wouldn't-” Blaise must have elbowed Draco, given the squawk he lets out not a moment later.

“Is this because Potter's lions were asking around for him as well?”

Theo nods, turning down an abandoned corridor for a moment before shaking his head. It was hard enough getting him into the abandoned Potions classroom to study practicals on a normal day.

He goes to several of the hideaways they'd found with the Map, which he knows Harry will eventually let him decode eventually. Him or Sirius, that is. But none of them are occupied. Theo enjoyed Harry's ability to not be found plenty of times in the past two months already, but now he's contemplating runic sequences that would allow him to fix the issue.

Maybe a portkey- he shakes his head, Portkeys were definitely out of the question.

“Meow.” The bland sound makes Theo’s head snap up and almost sigh in relief as he quickly walks over to John.

“Would you take me to where he is? Would he want to be bothered?” He was always surprised at the expressions the cat-sith could make, how humanly inhuman they seemed. He simply waited until John had situated himself across his shoulders once more and began to direct him.

They end up on the third floor, a corridor that he's sure that the Headmaster had warned them against in their first year. Looking around, he notices a door slightly ajar, and looks to John to confirm. Why would he be here, of all places?

“Harry?” He asks, slowly pushing the door open to peer inside.

The room is softly lit by a single Lumos, the warm glow barely enough light to make out the pattern in the floor around where Harry stood in front of an old desk. Quietly stepping up to his side, he sees it’s filled with dusty parchment and books, random trinkets and items scattered about. Looking at one of them, he sees advanced Arithmancy work for some form of charm bracelet.

“I don’t think he expected this to all still be here. Sirius, I mean.” Harry says, passing over a page that boldly proclaimed that it was the property of the Marauders.

Theo wants to read it, pick apart every formula and Transfiguration Theory that he could, but he gently sets it to the side instead. I can come back later, he assures himself, once this day is done. He quietly watches Harry sort through a number of other pages, sorting them into piles, before he actually looks over at him.

“Are you going to Hogsmeade today?”

“Do you want to?” He tilts his head to the side, a lopsided grin starting to form as Harry’s eyes widen, and his neck pulls back. It might be the warm light of the spell orb floating near them, but Theo is certain that he’s flushing. “I was planning to stay, actually.”

“Oh, er, so was I. Not really in the mood for-”

Theo turns to follow Harry’s gaze, watching Blaise lazily wave as he pulls the door closed, dragging Draco along with him. “You never seemed bothered before, about Vetr- Halloween.” He notes, looking back to watch Harry cycle through a number of emotions.

“I finally saw them. Their graves, I mean, this summer. No one had told me where they’d been buried until Sirius.”

Theo blinks, processing that quietly for a moment before he spoke again. He feels a pull in himself at Harry’s confession, thoughts about his Father creeping into his mind that he sets aside.

“Would you like to join me?”

“For what?” Harry frowns

Theo only smiles as he offers his hand. I failed once, he thinks, but maybe it could work now. There were magics that could help with this, he knew, ones he’d tried before and failed. But, there were others he’d only skipped over, knowing they wouldn’t be enough for him.

But for Harry, who only has two memories of his parents being with him? He’s sure that their presence alone would be enough for more. More than, even. I honestly like to think that we'll get a scene (that's tons better written cause Wixen is amazing) in the actual story for Halloween this year, but I can get the idea of Theo did a small ritual with Harry. Like, once Draco finds out he'd be super worried and pissed, probably, but if Theo can help Harry just a little with that, I bet he would. Even if it's just a warm breeze or just a presence of them being around him? I feel like Theo would know that that's kinda the best way to spend that day for him (or one of the best ways). Somber fluff, as I said, cause it's nice and soft but super in the feels.

Cant wait for the rumour mill to wind up.)

Burning of the Library Deleted Scenes Pt 2: Fluffpocalypse

An alternate ending to Chapter 19: Keeper of All Magic. It was supposed to fit in after Raziel returns and Theo remembers the Library (and Harry spies on him through the feather), but I removed this because it was waaaay too lighthearted considering everything that happens right before it. Fluff abounds.

This was posted specifically as a gift for @that1notetaker who makes the loveliest of all art for my story and I love them 5ever

Setting: Harry and Theo killing time in the Manchester apartment post-dinner. Remus came over for dinner and stayed, so he's here too, with Sirius.

Snape, to Harry’s great relief, took his leave with Pomfrey to pick up some other potions ingredients, leaving just the four of them. Sirius and Remus were doing a good job pretending not to eavesdrop when Theo leaned in and said, "Do you want to hang out? Are you going to stay out here, or...?"

“Sure,” Harry said casually. “I was going to read, I think.”

Theo made an amused noise, “What have I done to you?”

Harry swatted him, “I read sometimes before you ever came along, thanks! Just because I don’t enjoy reading boring old transfiguration theory doesn’t mean I don’t like reading.”

“Hey, there’s nothing more interesting than transfiguration theory,” Theo shot back, the corner of his mouth ticking up. “I read our textbooks for fun, cover-to-cover. Especially the bibliographies.”

“You are such a rotten liar,” Harry shook his head disgustedly. “The only person in the world who does that is Hermione.”

“Maybe I made friends with the wrong Gryffindor,” Theo sighed, sitting on the couch and pulling his sketchbook back in his lap. “Perhaps I’ll instigate a trade.”

“Who am I gonna get?” Harry grumbled, sitting next to him.

Theo thought for a moment, spinning his pencil over his long fingers. “Crabbe? Does he seem more your speed?”

Harry summoned his book with a little too much energy so it slapped loudly in his palm and promptly buried his face in it. He bit his lip, trying not to laugh first, but didn’t quite succeed.

Theo pushed the book down. He was smiling, which was good, but Harry couldn't help but wonder if he was faking all this for his sake. “I meant to ask, are you near or farsighted?”

“Nearsighted,” Harry replied, taking this moment to search Theo’s face for something. Pain, grief, misery. Anything that touched that deep dark feeling Harry glimpsed through the feather.

Theo looking him over and Harry felt his stomach start to flip. “A healer can probably fix that, you know. Not that you don’t look good in glasses, but it seems a little inconvenient to have to wear them all the time.”

Harry felt his nerves light on fire, warmth blooming across his skin. It was something that seemed to happen constantly around Theo. He assumed that he just wasn’t used to hanging out with the Slytherin without his glamor on, but maybe not. This was starting to get out of hand.

“I know,” he cleared his throat, nervously pulling his collar. “I mean, I know about the healer thing. I was thinking about trying the potion that makes contact lenses, but I like wearing glasses. They’re, uh…” it was too late to walk back what he was going to say, so Harry just steeled himself, “My dad wore glasses.”

A look of understanding flashed across his face and for the briefest second, Harry thought he saw it - a piece of that emptiness he had felt.

And then Remus cleared his throat. “So, you two really were friends before this week.”

Harry whipped around guiltily, but his old defense professor just smiled at him, holding a steaming cup of tea. “I’d like to hear how that happened, if you’re up to share?” he asked, taking a seat in one of the armchairs.

Theo shrugged elegantly when Harry looked at him in askance. He took the lead on telling the story. Theo seemed just as interested as Remus to hear Harry’s perspective and said very little until Harry mentioned that he volunteered to walk him to the Albion.

“My honor was at stake,” he said defensively. “Haven’t you ever heard the fable of the Benevolent Stranger?” Harry’s confusion must have been obvious because he sighed, “I’ll get a copy for you. I can’t do the story justice from memory.” Theo fiddled with Harry’s book and pulled out the feather. “You kept this?”

“Of course,” Harry eyed the feather like it might bite him. “It’s a good bookmark.”

“Too bad it’s not a real Kingfisher feather,” Theo hummed. “This is from a swallow, actually.”

“Fisher! Kingfisher!” Sirius suddenly leaned over the couch, looking at him suspiciously, "Is that what that means?" When Harry nodded, his godfather gasped. "You had a secret, animal nickname this whole time? That I didn’t know about?”

“He was calling himself Ivan Johnson,” Theo explained, “I told him that was a terrible pen name, so we came up with something else. Kingfisher is far and away more superior.”

“So it was your idea?” Sirius asked him. Harry was starting to go a bit red.

“I suggested a few, but Harry chose it,” Theo shrugged. “I thought Albatross was rather good. Let me guess, you didn’t read Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner before you decided, did you?”

He couldn’t help grimacing, “Didn’t you say it was a poem?”

Theo’s eyes widened, “Careful Potter, don’t say a thing against poetry. It’s the highest form of literary art.”

His tone was so deadly serious that Harry was actually surprised. “I just don’t know anything about it,” he explained quickly. “You’ll have to teach me about that, too.”

Theo narrowed his eyes, “And what do I get in return?”

Sirius snorted and made his retreat, “Good luck, pup.”

Harry hesitated, searching for something else he could ‘teach’ Theo but he couldn’t come up with anything. So, he tried to think of something he could do for him instead.

“I’ll try to be friends with Malfoy,” he said impulsively and immediately wished he could take it back.

It was worth it, though. Theo couldn’t hide his shock, nor the vulnerable, hopeful look that crossed his face. “No,” he demurred, looking away, “you don’t have to, really -“

“I will,” Harry shrugged, summoning more confidence than he felt. “It might be fun. Malfoy will be so confused.”

Theo grinned, ducking his head like he didn’t want him to see. “You’re right about that. He won’t believe it. He’s, ah…” Theo rolled the edges of one of his sketchbook pages, “He’s actually a very good friend. It’s just that his personality can be difficult.”

Harry laughed out loud, thinking of Ron. “I have one of those, too,” he said, forgetting for a moment that he and Ron weren’t speaking.

“I’ll try to make nice with yours,” Theo sighed, turning to a blank page and beginning to sketch the outline of John, curled up under the coffee table. “No promises, though. We might be too different.”

“You think Malfoy and I even have a chance?” Harry asked with amusement. “We haven’t gotten along since the moment we met.”

“Because you’re similar,” Theo replied, looking him in the eye. "If you could look past your differences, you'd probably be better friends than we are."

There's no chance in hell I could feel for Malfoy what I feel for you, Harry thought.

And then his mind did a double-take. Harry leaned back against the couch, trying to figure out where that came from. He glanced at Theo again, looking at the way his hair fell down around his face as he sketched.

I just mean...because it's easy. He wasn't sure who on earth he was justifying himself to, it's not like anyone could read his thoughts, not even John, but still... I've never made friends so fast with someone. I just feel like I can tell him anything. Am I naive? Am I too trusting?

Theo looked up and caught his eye. "Still in shock? Remembering how you once admitted that I'm right about everything?"

Harry flushed, hyper-aware of the looks they were getting from Sirius and Remus. "You're also full of yourself, you know that?"

Theo snickered and winked. Harry's heart jumped in his chest.

"It's part of my charm, Harry, get used to it."

Harry fell silent, letting the victory fall to Theo. It took a long time for his heart rate to come down, and even longer for him to actually read the book that was open in front of his face.

This is not ranking in order of how much I love them I simply have to go page by page because that's how much I love it.

Draco's entire face. The so simple "Hey" -_- face killed me, and also his suspicious squinty eyes, but mostly the huge O_O owl eyes at the end OMFG ahahahaha I'm dying, so perfect! Also the fact that Theo is clearly Not Listening to him in the first panel lmao. That's Theo 90% of the time with Draco lol.

Theo. His smug little confident smooth ass sitting next to Harry AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I don't know if I'm correctly getting my point across about how I feel. This is how I feel looking at him in these panels:

3. The banter between the two of them. So on point. I don't even know if I could have written this. Fucking hilarious. So cute I want to crush it up and inject it into my veins.

4. Blaise "LMAO" yeah ahaha I want to talk about a scene coming up in CH 25 so bad because it's about Blaise but I caaaaaaan't kill me. For now I will put a pin in it. This is so him tho lol.

5. My favorite part of this is Snape hating that he has to see this happen in his classroom LMAO ahahahahah sorry Severus but LOVE. WILL. BLOOM. You cannot stop it.

They have no fucks to give indeed!!! What's so fun about setting this story in book 5 is that Harry enters Hogwarts a pariah anyway, because of the Ministry's campaign against him, so he REALLY has no fucks to give. Oh man. I really need to get through Ch. 24 so I can free my shackles of summer and put them in school again.

You are the most wonderful, amazing, creative, talented, coolest person ever for doing all this. I love it so much (of course) and I hope you know how much I love it!! I couldn’t stop thinking about the kids going back to hogwarts and keeping their summer dynamic going through the school year. Theyve got no more f’s to give at this point. Snape receives -1000 damage for having to deal with their very normal, very totally platonic friendship. (I'm a fan of people's reactions to characters going out of the norm so this is purely self indulgent. Hope you like it!)

WHOA @jundsthoughts - you just triggered a core memory for me with "Fix Me". I literally...haven't listened to this since....god, eleventh grade? I used to listen to this somewhat religiously, right in my playlist with Shinedown and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and All Time Low's saddest bangers. Fuck. This is crazy. I think I erased this song from my brain but I still know every lyric. You're right, it is a great Harry song, very "spit in the face of the haters" type vibe. Sad but assured.

Check Yes Juliet, same thing haha. I have a strong memory of watching this song's music video play during homeroom when this weird...like...eighth grade newscast thing produced by Nickelodeon or ABC... I would watch 100 AMVs of this set to Harry/Theo if it was possible 😭

The Wisp Sings - holy god, IMMEDIATE ADD to my writing playlist. Also my general playlist. Just first line got me, Let me sleep / I am tired of my grief. So beautiful.

On Ophelia - she basically was a druid. She wouldn't call herself that. Her whole thing was that she hated wands and refused to use one, so she's kind of like this weird mashup between druid and mage.

War of Hearts - I love how atmospheric and moody this is. The lyrics do fit them so well, but I also think the vibe is so on-par for Theo and Harry. Ups and downs, but ultimately hopeful and triumphant. Just fabulous.

Have you ever listened to Josh Ritter? He has similar-ish vibe to Hozier and has an amazing a live album I binge listen to at least once a month, if not once a week sometimes. It's called: "In the Dark: Live from Vicar Street". His voice is pretty different but idk based on some of your music you might like him. My personal favs off that album are, "Idaho", "Wings", "Kathleen", and "Leaving".

Fix Me - 10 Years This is just Harry to everyone who thinks he's turning dark, getting too chummy with Slytherin, or what I was latching onto most when listening is anything regarding his weird magic stuff haha. Like, the blood wards he used to toss Moody out of Godrics Hollow, for example.

The Wisp Sings - Winter Aid Theo, likely after his Mom died moreso than his Dad but I can see it for both. Like, I can see him going into the Forbidden Forest soon after getting to Hogwarts and just having a good cry after seeing the Thestrals once again and being forced to remember why he can see them (now twice over). Now, I'm not sure if this is how he'll react given what you said, but the lyrics with it being all "But they would take me from your hand. Or they would try, they would try," it could be Theo holding onto Harry (and maybe his friends) all the tighter despite everything cause of how he's lost everything. Not ready for these good things to be gone just yet. Check yes, Juliet - We The Kings I want this to be Harry and Theo either over a summer or after the war is done. Just letting Harry live out his adventurous soul and pulling Theo along to find more books and reconnect/grow with whatever networks Magnus had. Fae - Seed Honestly, I kinda like to imagine a few things with this 1: Theo and Ophelia with all their fun magic stuff (was she a druid? I don't remember if that's been confirmed or just hinted at with stuff like Magnus' rant in chapter 4 about seeing signs?) 2: Harry and John with all that Fae stuff lmfao 3: Possibly odd, but the Library itself. War of Hearts - Ruelle So, this first set of lines, "Come to me in the night hours, I will wait for you. And I can't sleep cause thoughts devour, thoughts of you consume," this is Harry when he learned that Theo was presumed dead, and then going into the first chorus is him just begging anyone and anything for Theo to not be dead (and knowing it, mostly, cause fun magic stuff) Then we have the second verse, "Stay with me a little longer, I will wait for you," is when Theo's found and Harry is up late at night and when he's stress baking just willing Harry to be okay. Jackie and Wilson - Hozier This one is more tangentially related than anything else, but I could see it as Theo's POV with Harry just helping him live in the moment and experience everything like that. As a side note, I honestly prefer the Live From America album's version of this song to the original, haha. It's just a lot more groovy for me.

Me, listening to "Save yourself" at 8am

Okay, I was reading the lyrics to 'Save Yourself' and it is actually perfect Magnus internal dialogue I am dying. Some of the lyrics are totally more pointed toward the early days of meeting Ophelia, like, 'Cause the right thing is to give you up, I'm overcome by shame, 'cause I can never change, but the chorus really hits on his central tension with Theo which is a heretofore unexplored and unrevealed (lol). Just giving me the fuel to write their little three-shot backstory 😅

Okay, you've given some great songs here that encapsulate how complicated so many of these relationships are. Harry and Theo being caught between "let me love you!!!!!!" And "my life is complicated don't get close to me!!!" Is just *chef's kiss*. Now I try.

Extremely extremely extremely Harry-coded. I especially love this bit: That spotlight, though it shines bright / Could never drown you out / I know it's hard when I'm away / I'll just hope you don't lose faith. This is Harry -> Ron and Hermione to me. Him being like, "I'm still the person you know but I'm also this other person." Except in this case Harry's not really embracing his "spotlight" self, he's just sort of...being more true to himself.

Oh, god, but I read this song for Sirius mostly. Especially Sirius -> Remus, but even to Harry. Will you love me for who I am, not who i was? SIRIUS I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER I WEEP FOR YOUUUU.

Okay, this is a really sad song, no lie. But I read it two ways. It's great as a Ron song. How do we feel it out, when you're telling me I shouldn't wait, for the good days? 😭 Sorry Ron, but your childhood is behind you. First year is over, dude. Everything is changing now.

But I think the verses play so well for Harry, thinking about Theo, trying to get him to open up later on in the story.

Odes - Strange Familia

I have loved this song for so long lol. I think this works on many levels, but it especially works as a kind of background pulse for the various background family units in this story. We have the Slytherin trio, Narcissa and her two boys, Sirius/John/Harry, and even, EVEN the Weasleys. I just think this song really perfectly captures how hard it is to hold on to the people you love when you are struggling, or even worse, the people you love are struggling and you don't know how to help them.

One day I will write a 5k word essay about an entire album that I listen to religiously that is Theo's soul in my head but today's not that day bc I have to work lmao.

And, if we want super potential angst here imagine the following: The song mentions December, so let's say it's the term post-Arthur attack, Dumbledore has been ran out of the castle and Umbridge is now in charge. Harry and Theo now face that they have to hide everything again just when they're finding everything out, where if they're in the view of everyone it could lead to them losing everything. But, fun thing, this could also totally be Theo once against just like Save Yourself and so many others hahaha. I honestly love how similar but unique they are with this specific challenge they both share. I cry lmfao All Of Me - John Legend Honestly, this would more fit to canon 5th year Harry (with how angry he was for justifiable reasons) compared to BOTL!Harry given his extra support network and everything going on that lets him (to an extent) keep more control on his emotions. But like, this is fully the boys talking to each other about everything they kinda keep bottled up, and hidden, what they feel like they can't or shouldn't show people cause it'll make them leave, or it'll just break things, so they keep it all hidden so that they can enjoy the good times as long as possible. And then the other is in front of them lightly shaking their shoulders like "Let me love you, you dense prick. I don't care about all of this, it won't change anything" lmfao. What To Know - Two Door Cinema Club More of Harry and Theo in Hogwarts keeping each other company, similar to Be My Escape to be honest. Maybe it's the inverse of it? So they play at the same time with it kinda bouncing between who gets what song based on the POV haha. Though, I will say, that second verse: "Maybe next year, I'll have no time. Just in general as of chapter 22 hahaha. Like, this feels like Ron specifically of just the "I miss what we had, is it too late to fix this?" variety. Harry wants to fix it too, of course, but he knows (or at least seems to know) that it won't be the same as it was, and their relationship has irrevocably changed at this point, and is (mostly?) fine with that but still wants what they had back in 1st-3rd year. Like, this is prime material for an AMV of Ron walking around Hogwarts (if this situation extends that far, which I honestly would be surprised if it didn't). I so agree about Harry - think in cannon we mostly see him enjoying fitting in and embracing all the things people love about him but, especially around book 5, he becomes so hyper aware of how everyone perceives him that I think he tries even harder to kind of bury his true self. Well, and he's so angry and beaten down in book 5 that he has like no space to figure his shit out it's not really his fault 😭

Maybe this is terrible of me as the writer but I had not given a whole lot of thought, yet, to how RON perceived the fight with Theo. Or even, just, everything after Harry and Theo came to HQ. You setting that up, especially with taking us back to think on Ron's biggest insecurities of like Harry leaving him behind or being "Dark" is just KILLER. ANGST OUT THE WAZOO.

And then perfection - Hermione in the middle interpreting them! I love Hermione and I think she has a lot of wisdom and can read the subtext it's just she lacks some tact lol. This is so perfect.

Burning of the Library Chapter 22 AMV

I cannot draw, nor animate, or anything required of this except having ideas that maybe might possible potentially make sense to someone somewhere hahaha. But I just spent the past like thirty minutes ranting to myself about this so here we go!

This is once again to Breathing Underwater by Hot Milk so angst aho! Brought to us by Chapter 22 of Burning of the Library by the wonderfully skilled and talented @wixenforever.

For the first (roughly) 7 seconds where it's just the musical intro type thing, I'd have it as looking over Harry's shoulder into Ron's borrowed room at Grimmauld, with Ron just looking pissed and crying and starting to fall apart with guild and regret and just everything that he's feeling. Harry, will also be looking quite pissed but also exhausted and remorseful for so many reasons. But it'll pan to Hermione reeling in the Extendable Ear on the other side of the landing/on the stairs or smth similar.

For the first verse, it's Harry, his POV and ideas/words/etc as he talks to Hermione. Just how he's been shoving everything down like I said over in this post when I first made the connection with it haha, and having the whole "Then you be someone." line (which is so savage btw? Like, I love my boy Harry so much for that line hahaha). But then, as it ramps up to the chorus, it kinda of rewinds or jumps to when Harry is first entering the room that night.

Then, with that first chorus, it's Harry and Ron's fight with what Harry hears and interprets from what Ron's saying and implying and so on. Bit of text bubbles and such in there but it'd be worth it later.

Then we have the second chorus, which has a flash of lighting or smth as we watch Harry leave the bedroom (maybe seeing Hermione in the far background) as we watch from outside Grimmauld as rain his the glass of the window Ron is sitting against as he just crumbles into himself.

And we have Ron for the second verse, with flashes of Fourth year and the summer here with Theo, and maybe flashes of his talk with Hermione that she mentioned, and things that he imagines (Maybe even him imagining what it'd be like if he had been friends with Theo/Draco from the start) like him just hanging around with the Slytherin's a lot, maybe sneering and jeering at Muggleborns and Blood Traitors and such all the while. Maybe a flash of Harry in Slytherin robes and maybe even with a Dark Mark, just every single insecurity he has about Harry not paying attention to him all the time.

Then, with the second Chorus, we have Ron's POV of that fight and the words/images are different than what was in Harry's POV and we see what Ron hears/interprets/etc and it's just be so juicy with the angst hahaha.

Then, with the rest, we have Hermione outside the door hearing what's actually meant by both of them. Not necessarily what they're saying, but what they mean, hooking back into my original write-up for the song haha. And it just kind of ends with Hermione going into the bedroom to comfort Ron while Harry sits in the reading nook with John.

Like, ah, it'd be so angsty but I wish I had the skill to do it hahaha.

DUUUDE. I have been chewing over your theories about the Hallows for like two days. What I have planned for Harry has so much to do with John's death magic but I never thought of a "like recognizes like" type situation between Hallows-holders, that's honestly brilliant.

Next chapter has some more explanation on how John's magic works which will touch on why he can see/smell through the Invisibility Cloak.

What I'm thinking for Harry is actually a tad...different. You know how John can change how he looks? Going from his standard lanky, sort of feral cat look, to soft and cuddly kitty, to full fae-demon, hell-hound type form? My plan is to have Harry assume some of those abilities.

And we shall see the first iteration of that in the next chapter, I think. Theo's not gonna know what hit him 😁 Considering Harry's extremely strong emotions, I think his "look" will kind of change depending on how he's feeling, but I haven't fully fleshed it out yet.

I loveeeeee the idea of the Library stealing things from him!!!!!!! If I make use of this idea I will 10000% credit you because it is such a genius idea. Oh man, I want to comment more about the Library and Hogwarts and how they might "connect" but I don't want to give away something that's about to happen in the next chapter 🫠🙃 We'll come back to this lmao.

In "My Escape" I like the idea of reading the beginning of the second verse like this:

Theo is such an internal person who is constantly thinking and planning and balancing his many responsibilities against what he "has" to do to maintain a normal-seeming life to fly under the radar, so he, of course, would have a hard time living in the "Now" as it were. But I also am looking forward to the moment where Harry meets him where he's at and acknowledges that he has these responsibilities and he won't make him feel like he has to choose (between them and Harry ❤️😭 Squee!! My heart!)

"Morally gray" is hilarious because it is SO Harry. Can't help myself yep...sorry boy, you're sunk on the Theo ship, it's over for you. And what I love about them is that once they sort of lock together and share ALL the secrets that still exist between them right now in the story, they will have such a solid and unbreakable foundation FROM WHICH I SHALL BUILD THE MOST POWERFUL WEIRD MAGIC POWER COUPLE OF ALL TIME 😈😈😈😈😈 lmao maybe too much but what can I say I love these two

Okay "The Moss" is a banger, just my kind of song. Immediately went on the playlist and my personal playlist lmao. I think it ties in nicely with the Treasure planet song thematically, because Harry is such an adventurous soul, of course he wants to know all the weird and wonderful things out there, to be part of the world HE WAS BORN INTO (damn you Albus!!!) lol.

And honestly, thinking about it, it could be him trying to sort out everything he thinks and feels about Magnus as well? Morally Grey - April Jai Harry about Theo anyone? Like, this is just Harry being gay as fuck for Theo and you can't convince me otherwise. Little raunchy for them (maybe? idk we haven't gotten that far yet) but this is just so them. You've got Theo teasing him all the time "He's got blue eyes, crooked smile. Knows that he drives me wild [...] Sarcastic and witty [...] assertive in the best way" then we have folks like Ron (and almost certainly Dumbles once he sees how close they actually wanna get) warning him away with the "I know he's no good for me" parts and Harry just not giving any fucks at all "They say he's morally grey, what can I say? Grey's my favorite color".... but let's face it the blue of Theo's eyes is probably his actual favorite color lmfao.
