Those thoughts:::
Marionette smirked to herself as she recalled the magical staff that was usually in the hands of Cat Noir. Usually when they had to switch Miraculous, it was a fair bit more dangerous than normal situations.
But she could never tell if it was because of Plagg’s influence, or just the idea of being somebody new, but her confidence in her ability to charm the now Mister Bug was at an all time high.
A small chuckle left her lips as she pressed the button to communicate with the Yo-yo now around Adrian’s waist. (Not the she knew it was him, of course).
“I guess you’ve been going to the Dupain-Chang bakery, cause I’m certainly seeing some cake, handsome. “ she said, a light laugh acting like a verbal wink at the end.
Not as soon as the words left her lips, could you see Mister Bug stumble into his next jump. After all, swinging around to save Paris wasn’t as easy as it looked. Certainly no other reason than that.
With a flick of her wrist, the pole extended and she easily caught up with the red-clad hero. Only this time there seemed to be extra red.
Adrian glanced over and just as quickly looked away. If he even so much as looked her in the eye, he knew he would melt out of sheer embarrassment.
Lady Noir quickly took the lead. Her long, black braid now draped over her shoulder as she turned around in the air, catching herself on the next extension of her pole.
“Let’s go save Paris, handsome. “ she grinned, blowing him a small kiss before turning around to lead the way.
A small sigh escaped his lips, before a grin spread across his face. “Whatever you say m’lady.” He chuckled. Knowing he would follow her to the ends of the earth and beyond.

The Light
It was the last few moments of her life. Her sapphire eyes slowly changing to a dull slate gray. She could feel what little energy she had left, slipping out of her reach.
A faint chirp from her phone caused an instinctual twitch. The device slipping out of her hand.
The sound of a phone hitting hardwood floors snapped her back into the world.
"About fuckin' time. It's been like, two hours." She grumbled as she rolled off the bed, and grabed her phone.
