Talk to me

A spell for when someone is avoiding you and you need to talk but you’re too scared to be the one to approach them

Ingredients:

Button

Maple leaf

Dill

Ivy

Nutmeg

Parsley

Thyme

River or stream

Lemon juice

Basil

Marjoram

Sugar

Acorns

Instructions:

Mix your herbs together prior to going to the river/stream so that they can be with you on your journey there

Take a button, write the initials of the person you wish to have communication with

Tie the button to a string and put it in the bag with your herbs

Go to the river

Kneel next to the river and pour the lemon juice into it saying

“purify and make this crystal clear. Come say what you want and I will hear”

Pour your herbs(not the button just the herbs) into the river

Take the string and use it to hold onto the button while you emerge it into the water and say

“Come to me and let us talk

When we’re near eachother we will not walk

Away from what we need to say

Let our communication be clear as day

I lack the courage I need to initiate

So you will approach me to communicate

Have the courage to come to me

Well say what we need so mote it be”

Put your leaves and acorns into the river when you take your button out

🌙 to borrow the essence of the Moon. Can be used according to the properties of the Moon (emotions, rest, deep thoughts, psychic abilities, divination, etc.)

Instructions and tips for syphoning energy

Syphoning is the process of taking magical energy from one thing and absorbing it into you to use. You can syphon magical objects, elements, Solar/lunar energy, and even people.

It isn’t very ethical and can be dangerous so please use this with caution. THIS IS DARK MAGIC! I use syphoning to charge myself and give myself more energy before doing a powerful spell.

To syphon something/someone you first must feel their energy/soul/aura. Feel it like the ebb and flow of the ocean. Feel your own energy/soul/aura and connect it to the pattern of the movement of the other’s. Once you’ve established a strong connection with them, begin to take in their energy as if you’re breathing it in or drinking it up. Continue to do this until you wish to stop.

Cord Cutting Rituals

Background Info:

Cord cutting rituals are conducted typically at the end of a relationship, whether that be platonic or romantic in nature. The whole concept of cord cutting rituals stems from the idea that one needs to cut their etheric ties to someone or something. Doreen Virtue, a former spiritualist who has now since converted, says that etheric cords “act like hoses, with energy directed back and forth between both people.”

Etheric cords have the potential to transmit energy and communication between two people, but sometimes this cord becomes unhealthy. In my own personal experience, cords that are unhealthy often result in an obsession with that person, a fear that you’re being manipulated, and in some cases the knowledge that you’re being gaslit even if the relationship itself has ended.

The purpose of cord cutting rituals is cutting those unhealthy energetic ties to someone or something (like an addiction!). A cord cutting ritual will allow you to move on to better things and leave that unhealthy tie in your past.

Cord Cutting Ritual

Supplies: -Incense (optional) -Candle -A picture of yourself and the thing you are cutting cords to (if you don’t have a photo, the names written on a piece of paper works well) -Scissors -A cord (can be yarn, thread, rope, etc.)

The way I conduct cord cutting rituals are a bit different than most sources I’ve seen. One of the dangers of a cord cutting ritual I want to urge you to be aware of is that if you do not remove the cord from you, that cord can reappear. While cord cutting can entirely be symbolic (i.e. making the motion of cutting a cord as opposed to cutting a literal cord), I prefer the method of doing it literally as well.

Since this is a ritual, I encourage you to cast a circle so there is no unwanted energy that seeps in or out. If you prefer not to cast a circle, however, that is absolutely fine. Just make sure that your space is protected so the energy raised doesn’t spill out or any unwanted energy seeps in.

If you’d like to pray to your ancestors, speak with any of your guides or deities or entities you work with, do so now. I like to ask them to enter my space and be with me as I do my work.

Dress your candle if you so choose. Your candle will represent the healing energy for after your cord cutting. You can use herbs or oils (be sure to use carrier oils if you’re using essential oil blends!) or carve sigils/runes/symbols into the candle! Do it however you like.

Light your candle and as it burns, feel the healing energy of the candle wash over you.

Take your pictures or your names written on a piece of paper and then your “cord” and attach the cord between the photo or the pieces of paper.

Take your scissors or knife or whatever you’ll be cutting the cord with. As you cut the cord, visualize the tie between you and the object being cut, severing those ties. Once you’re ready, untie the cords attached to your end and visualize those cords being dug out of your energetic self so that nothing remains.

Visualize yourself and the other person as healed and whole. Let the candle burn either all at once or over several days, whichever you need to feel that healing energy. Once your ritual has ended, dispose of the cords in two separate places. You can burn them or bury them, whichever you feel is right.

Honey

Honey is a natural substance created by bees within their hives. The hive consists of primarily female bees, which will leave the hive to collect nectar from flowers and then return to transform this nectar into sugary honey for later consumption.

Humans have been collecting honey since 8000 BC, and it has been utilized by nearly every culture across the globe for food, healing, and spiritual purposes.

Honey is universally considered a talisman of prosperity, beauty, health, and sweetness, and it can be utilized in all of these types of witchcraft.

Prosperity

Honey is a representation of abundance: its primary use in nature is as a stored source of food to be used in times of hardship, both for bees and for humans. It is also created from the nectar of flowers, imbuing it with the energies of the Sun and springtime. As such, it can be added to spells for wealth, abundance, fertility, or prosperity in order to amplify the effects and create surplus in your life.

Beauty

Sympathetic Magick states that an object’s physical qualities are reminiscent of its spiritual properties. Honey is golden, pleasing to the eye, and sweet. On its own or added to face masks, it can cleanse, nourish, and moisturize the skin. It can also be added to beauty or glamour spells in order to add a sweet glow to your energy.

Healing

Honey has been used to treat wounds since the time of the Ancient Egyptians. Its viscosity and moisture creates a moist seal around a wound. It also contains natural antibacterial properties, providing a stable and sterile environment for wounds to heal in. Metaphysically, honey can be added to protection spells or wards in order to create an environment of positivity and sterility, and can also be added to healing spells in order to strengthen the recovery process.

Sweetness

Honey is appealing to humans and animals because, above all else, it is sweet. One of honey’s most ancient uses - utilized in magical practices ranging from Egyptian to Greek to Voudoo - is to add ‘sweetness’ to a spell.

It can be added to glamour magick to make the illusion more easily accepted. It can be added to curses in order to make the energy seem harmless when entering the target’s life. It can be added to money spells or job spells in order to ‘sweeten the deal’. It can be added to love or sex spells in order to sweeten a relationship or conjure an appealing partner. In general, it can be added to any spell to make the effects more pleasant and inviting.

Offering

Honey’s final use is especially helpful to witches who work with nature spirits, fairies, the Dead, or deities. Honey contains a very pleasing, warm, Sun-type energy, and therefore it is extremely enticing to spirits. Since the time of the Ancient Egyptians, honey has been used as an offering that symbolizes the utmost love, care, and respect.

Honey can be drizzled onto a candle and burned. It can be drizzled into a body of water or directly onto the earth. Most commonly, it can be drizzled into an offering bowl (or on top of an offering meal) and left outside, in a graveyard, or on an altar. Because it is excellent at preserving itself, offerings of honey can be left somewhere for prolonged periods of time without worry of it spoiling, which is extremely helpful to forgetful witches (like me) or witches with long-term altars.

So, all in all, honey is maybe one of the most underrated magical ingredients, and I hope this post got some of you hip to honey magick.

Not that long ago I purchased a tarot book that finally gave me the confidence to start making my own spreads and WALLA! My first ever spread! I got the inspiration from a few other’s that I have seen wandering around, but I really wanted one that was more unique to my own situation. I would also love to hear feedback, so please let me know how it worked for you! :)

Sometimes I wake up or just go about my day and suddenly an anxiety attack comes on, but I have no clue what action may have caused it. This spread helps me go through the steps of revealing what happened and how to get prevent it from happening in the future. Or at least recognizing it in the first place and be able to take the steps towards improvement. Feel free to twist up the question to your liking or expand it further.
