He’d realized it as soon as he’d said it, of course, but he was hoping through some miracle, she’d end up letting the comment pass. Alas, it was too much to ask. It took all of his personal strength not to raise his hands and drag them down his face. He knows he can’t tell her she’s not allowed to leave; it’s barely done anything for them so far, after all.Why, over a pizza…  “I mean, you’re not wrong, but is that really how you want to spend your…”  Of course it is.  “You’re not giving me an option, are you?”

         “Of course not.” She tried to keep the amusement from being too noticeable in her tone, though, how successful she was at that was another story altogether. “Come now Lelouch, are you really that worried over some light shopping?” She was teasing him at this point, the smirk on her face hidden only by the fact she had since turned to look for an outfit to put on for their little escapade. “Hm.. should I braid my hair, or put it into pigtails I wonder.”

         ❛  As far as I know, any pizza place that had some kind of chocolate pizza discontinued them because they were too time consuming to meet. You’d be better off baking your own than looking for one.”

           “Discontinued? I see.” She almost sounded genuinely disappointed. Still, at this point the witch had fully committed herself to the idea of trying this ‘chocolate pizza’, and she was hardly going to give up so easily simply because it couldn’t be obtained on a whim. “If we can’t order one, then you are correct, we should just bake our own. Let’s go shopping for ingredients, I would assume you could easily look up a recipe to follow?”

CHARACTER SOLIDIFYING!

41. Is your character aware of who they are? Strengths? Weaknesses? Idiosyncrasies? Capable of self-irony?

         Yes and no. For the most part, yes. C.C is more than aware of her faults, and they are all traits she won’t bother trying to deny is she is called out on them. She also knows what she is and isn’t capable of, both from a view of physical strengths/weaknesses and personal ones. But ‘no’ in the sense that as time went on she began to lose sight of her more human characteristics. She became more and more detached from the world, and at the same time so did she become more and more detached from her own emotions. 

         After a couple thousand years, she even began to truly believe she would never again be capable of feeling human emotions like excitement or love. This detached view of her own feelings in many ways acted as one her biggest (and completely self-imposed) weaknesses; after all, how was she supposed to relate to others, how was she supposed to feel anything other than lonely, if she could barely relate to herself anymore? She didn’t feel alive anymore. She was little more than a living ghost. 

          Meeting L.elouch changed that, however. And because of him, she began to finally feel more human again. Through him and his life spent leading the rebellion, she began to once more feel emotions she long since thought she was incapable of ever experiencing again. Love for a dear friend, excitement in being able to fight alongside him, sorrow from losing him, and hope and joy at being able to live in the world he helped bring to life. Thanks to him she began to truly feel alive again. 

47. Do they want to project an image of a younger, older, more important person? Do they want to be visible or invisible?

          At one point in her life C.C wanted nothing more than to be viewed as someone worthy of love. The picture of youth and innocence, someone who could be easily and SHOULD BE adored by others. She wanted to be visible, she wanted to be seen, she wanted to be LOVED. 

          But that was long ago. Now, thousands of years older, she could care very little about how she appears to others. Whatever image one puts on to others is completely theirs to decide, it hardly matters to her. She does and acts as she so wishes and that is all there is too it. Of course, given her current circumstances, it is much more convenient to not draw attention to herself. To blend in as much as possible (to an extent). But the fact still stands, the her of the past who wished to impress and draw forth the affections of others is long gone. Now she only cares for herself and does as she wishes.
