Blake doesn’t normally find himself in situations with screaming kids running around, but it was Jason’s turn to pick the hangout today. He’d half expected a day at one of the numerous beaches lining the area, or perhaps a decent nightclub. What he didn’t expect was this. The neighborhood pool. This was not his idea of fun. 

“You left to get beers you numpty,” Blake laughed, shaking his head. “What, some cute little thing flash a smile at you and buy you a drink and all the blood rushed south?” Smirking he takes the drink from Jason and knocks their bottles together. “Cheers, mate,” Blake smirked back before raising the bottle to his lips. 

After a few healthy sips to help cool himself down, Blake sets the drink aside, adjusting his sunglasses and settling back into the sun. While he was British, his genes gave him just the right combination so he didn’t burn when stepping outside. He hoped to go a little passed sun-kissed today. “So, we here to find a little bit of tail? Little bit of business? Or is just sitting in the sun your idea of fun?”

Jason paused for a moment with a blank directed at Blake and finally answered: “Yes? He got a cute Speedo on, though. You know how much I love ‘em.” He sat back on his chair after a bit of effort to effectively fold in two, then took a generous gulp of beer. “Besides, it’s not like you’re any different. We always go club-hopping and you always get distracted. This is my thing.” A buff twenty-something walked by them and his eyes lingered over both of the guys, which Jason instantly acknowledged with a nod and “Sup, dimples?”

Jason was 6′6″ and built especially well. He knew his own effect on people when he was out nearly naked out in the open. He enjoyed the attention, the stares, and the very random reason people found to strike up a conversation and he wasn’t going to pretend otherwise.

“Why should we do any work, man?” Jason shrugged and leaned back in the chair. “If we hang out here enough, we’ll get dudes coming to us and catch up some sun. I call that a win.” He turned his head to look at Blake. “But if it makes you feel better, after we hang out here, you can choose another place. That way we’ll be even and you won’t have to complain.” His attention shifted almost immediately at a hairy brunette who was passing them. “Nice coat man, woof!”

What is your favorite music ways to pass the time?

“Oh yeah, I love music! My folks really wanted me to play an instrument and be, like, talented, but it didn’t work out for me. So I can’t play anything, but I love letting Spotify pick something for me. My most played playlists are “Workout Beats”, “Happy” and “Party night”.

What's your idea of a crazy night - Blake

“Yoooo, Blake, my man! You know full well I ain’t that good at coming up with crazy stuff to do -- you’re usually the one there. 

But I guess, I’m down for a night at the club, getting turnt up and stuff, as long as we go to Waffle House at 4 AM. So... it’s like a regular Friday, yeah?”

With weather this nice, it was hardly a surprise that the pool was packed. Many families had the same idea as Jason did to go spend the day catching some sun. What that ended up doing was filling the pool with screaming kids, willingly absent-minded parents, and a few regular singles in between. And while Jason didn’t really find any reasons to complain, he did have to wait a really long time for a beer at the bar.

When he finally returned back to his chair, he was deeply relieved to see it was still free.

“Dude, thank you so much for looking after this! I can’t believe it’s still here with all those people running around,” he snorted and flashed a sheepish grin. “By the way, do you want this?” He said and passed the beer to the guy who was looking after his towel. “I was waiting on that line for so long, this random dude decided to get me a drink. Real nice guy, but I don’t want this one. You in?”

Meet Jason

get this — i was coming home from work today and managed to get a good look at JASON ABERNATHY, and i almost got into a car accident. they sure are gorgeous, huh ? i heard they’re THIRTY, and moved to wisteria court about TWO YEARS ago, and that they’re currently OWNING A VET CLINIC. i’ve also heard that they’re HOMOSEXUAL and really into GETTING PRAISED, BODY WORSHIP, EXHIBITIONISM. what’s juiciest of all is that HE’S DIVORCED AND HIS EX TOOK THE LARGER PART OF HIS MONEY, but you didn’t hear that from me, got it ? i’m just glad i’ll be seeing much more of them around.

A couple of high level bullet points about him: - He knows he’s not the sharpest tool in the shed, but he’s kind and to him, that’s all that matters. - He’s a trust fund baby, so places like Wisteria Court are pretty familiar territory to him, even if he’s relatively new to the community. - Bought a struggling vet clinic even though he doesn’t really have experience running it. He just likes dogs, okay? So he wants to have an excuse to go and check on a bunch of new dogs every day. Also, the people there would have lost their jobs otherwise and that would have sucked. - Single, lives alone, and is still trying to find his place in Wisteria. He only moved here because he has an uncle who owns a house he doesn’t use here. - Open to all sorts of plots and pre-established connections: just slide into my DMs
