07.18.21. i've realized that i'm most productive in the morning, but i have to be at work at 9am sharp. solution: waking up early, dragging my limp, uncaffeinated body to the library, and trying to work on postbacc apps for an hour before work. being an adult... wouldn't recommend.

this site definitely doesn't allow you to paste the link to any article blocked by a paywall (say, a NYT article) so that you can read it free of charge! that would be illegal and would benefit broke college students too much. it definitely does not do that. promise.

reminder:
it’s okay to have days where you don’t study at all if you need a mental and/or physical break.
it’s okay to prioritize other things in your life over school, if they’re more important to you and benefit you moreso.
it’s okay to fail a test or get a bad grade or get on the bad side of a teacher; your academic career will never go perfectly, but that doesn’t mean it’s spoiled forever, and that you will go nowhere.
it’s okay to not be accepted into programs, classes, clubs, or anything of the sort. just keep going forward, and new & better things will come along.

02・08: this is the part where i pretend like i have actually posted since june... and further pretend like i’m not posting this on tumblr on the 6th not the 2nd... :D ⠀

It’s been a while! I’ve been doing some things behind the scenes but my mental health has been rather rocky lately and I needed a break from social media (as much as my minor twitter addiction allows at least) and just another from life. I took a long rest, went nice and easy on myself in attempt to avoid burn out considering how low my burn out threshold is after the last year. ⠀

I hope to be posting more and keeping up to date with everyone some more and all of that sort of stuff~ hopefully you’ll see more of me from now on! ⠀

Spent half of the morning making flashcards for my clinical psychology exam (which is in July), I can‘t bother studying for my sociology exam yet, but I can‘t stand not being productive, so I‘m studying for clinical psychology instead :D I hope I can force myself to look at my sociology notes though.. I‘m going to watch Call me by your name tonight and I‘m really excited!
