[Oh no, let’s not write small starters, that's just too impossible. Instead lets take ages to great everyone, because fucking Koumyou has too many thoughts on his mind, and wants to write multipara's to get all those thoughts out. Really, no, it's cool. It totally isn't exhausting me even writing one. No, I'm fine. Keep doing what you're doing, Koumyou. Glares intensely at muse.]

Life Long Game;;
                                                               mydarksize
Friendship; it was a term the monk used loosely. Anyone who struck a chord of fancy, left a memory that appealed to his senses could earn the title of friend. Few people could ever garner hatred from the blond. A pacifist, most would say if they watched the old man and his behaviours. The company he chose to keep in life would appear queer to any onlookers who not only knew, but understood some of his 'companions'. The one 'friendship' that seemed to deviate from the norm, more than others, seemed to be the relation with the heretical monk.
One of his dearest friends had been killed, and yet he had still been cordial with the 'murderer'. The youngest Sanzo in existence... At least until he had given the title to his own ward. Eyes settled on the black hair. A raven... No, perhaps an empty void was the best way to describe the man. Darkness that seemed to linger, not a darkness in the sense of 'evil'. Morality was abstract after all, and while the other was a heretic, they all had blood on their hands in one way or another. Honestly, all the blond hoped was that one day, the younger Sanzo might find a 'light' in the same way that he had.
He had placed a wager on that light. The one that infected his own life; the light he happily let in. An odd smile came to his face. The wager they made, it was something he never expected to see develop, not with his own eyes.
Tumblr media
The carefree expression, it was as though nothing abnormal was going on at all. Instead of worrying about any memories relating to his own 'death' or the way one might react to seeing him alive and well... The man simply approached the old 'friend'. "Do you have time to share a drink? And possibly some conversation?"

The Mark of a Man;;
                                                    sexybadboyhanyou
Some say that the only sin is the sin of being born. The words held a heavy truth to them. All humans sinned, and sin was rooted in the nature of man. The severity of sins varied, yes, but everyone in the end, was a 'sinner'. It was an ironic thought that came to mind at the sight of the passion coloured hair. Red hair, didn't necessarily mean what he took it as in THIS situation. Some cases it was the simplicity of being a rarer hair colour, especially within China. The case was the blazing eyes that matched so perfectly. The scars marking the boy's cheek as though it were a sign of the 'sinful' nature everyone would have taken it as, caused his heart to fall. There was no doubt that any 'taboo' child would have a rough existence. As a 'father', he could feel pain on behalf of the stranger. Thoughts struggled in his mind, trying hard to wrestle their way past his lips. Words that he held back simply because; they were none of his business.
Instead of acting on the instincts that ran through his mind, or the knowledge he had of the younger man's origin, he played oblivious. A smile spreading across the monks lips, easing an expression that was almost TOO relaxed, into place. Arms folded together in his sleeves as he closed the distance, avoiding any possible outright staring. Part of him was tempted to just tug on some of the hair, as though he were a child who found fascination in the vibrant colour. Instead he asked the most unusual question, for someone who looked to be a well behaved monk.
Tumblr media
"Do you happen to know a good place for a drink? I feel as though I need some spirits to soothe my wary soul." It was hard to tell if he was simply teasing with the way he voiced the question.

Without mud, you cannot have a lotus flower. Without suffering, you have no ways in order to learn how to be understanding and compassionate. Happiness is the lotus flower, and the suffering is the mud. So the practice is how to make use of the suffering, make use of the mud, to create the flower, the happiness, and this is possible.

Family Bonds;;
                                                              itslikethesun
Tumblr media
Sometimes you just knew that there was someone important standing before you. The last time he met such a person it was the very person who killed one of his dearest friends. Before that was his precious pupil... Good or bad, it was easy to tell that, at the very least, it was someone precious, and important to the world. There was something about him, a uniqueness. The monk approached the brunette with a warm smile. "Hello there."
A foolish looking grin was on the monk's face as he greeted the boy. One eye on the daidem. If he wasn't mistaken that was definitely some sort of limiter. Unusual... It was much more noticeable than most limiters. If his suspicion was correct... Then it definitely wasn't so descrete. The Sanzo monk met the golden eyes with a softness taking over the  monks features, instead of the simple foolishness.

The Face of Another;;
                                                                      theiratesun
Like a sun. How brightly it shined... That familiar blond hair that had held the attention of the monk, in the same fashion a flame held the attention of a moth. It was grown out so long, even longer than his. There was no doubt in his mind that it wasn't his little Kouryuu all grown up. The air was just too off. And yet still, the man found himself in shock of how identical the face was. The drooping violet gaze, the sun like hair, and a familiar frown. So close. It really was an amazing resemblance. Eyes were drawn down to the heels for a moment, before slowly looking up over the strange outfit.
“Ah...”
Tumblr media
Hands rummaged through the over-sized sleeves. A small object was pulled out and the monk walked over to the stranger. Without checking if it was okay, or paying attention to personal space. He took the other's hand and placed a small sweet within it. "Here you go." The hand reached up to pat the stranger's head, as though he were some child.

Chasing the Light;;
                          priestsanzo                priest-genjo-sanzo                cracksinthesun
Years passed and with them time wore heavy on the soul. A person, with the right conditions, could show either exponential growth, or could fall into complete darkness. It was hard to tell where the path would lead once stared down it, but the fact that he had the chance to see it with his own eyes, once again, was a miracle.
Tumblr media
It was when he came face to face with his with his beloved pupil, his adopted child, that both pride and an overwhelming sadness touched his heart. So mature, the other Sanzo had grown into a fine adult. Though in those deep amethyst hues, there was written an untold amount of suffering. What must have been experienced in the long thirteen years was anyone's guess.
Lips pulled into a gentle smile as the monk approached the blond, stopping only a few short feet away. "You've grown up well." The first thought on his mind was what he finally lent words to.
