tried to explain to a white liberal that i felt weird seeing white people make racist sounding jokes about AI ("tin crow laws", "wirebacks/silverbacks", "my daughter better not come home with no god damn clanker") because of how ingrained it is into the "white" identity to incite genocide by inventing an outgroup, and how that's the only "white heritage" that exists because "whiteness" was invented 200 years ago from ideology.

i was told i was "flexing my history knowledge" for bringing this up, and then accused of promoting bioessentialism for saying racism defines white blood-- something objectively true, as "whiteness" cannot exist without an outgroup.

I've seen "trans woman isn't an identity, it's a positionality" here (like on transfem tumblr) but I don't really know what it means? I'm asking in good faith- I'm nonbinary and transfem, and I do identify as a woman, just not soully or primarily, and I have a beard. Is it disrespectful for me to call myself a trans woman? If so, is there like an alternative term?

"trans woman is a positionality, not an identity" doesn't mean you can't like identify as a woman; it means that, say, somebody assigned female at birth can't identify as a "trans woman" because "trans woman" is itself not an identity, "woman" is, and "trans" in this case is a modifier describing a positional relationship to womanhood. the same way you can't identify into being a disabled woman or a black woman etc these are just things that describe your positionality in relationship to disability or blackness. it has nothing to do with your personal presentation etc i know many trans women with beards!!! you're fine i promise :) it just means that like, i was coercively assigned male at birth so i'm positionally speaking never going to be a trans man; if i identified as a man then that would make me cis or some variety of non-binary etc etc

misogyny is when eye candy happens. the least misogyny is when there's no women in the narrative. I'm so glad I found the one manga that's not misogynistic bc the narrative is dominated by competent men and the token woman is the infantilized comedic relief. my favorite ship? it's MxM naturally. women characters are just never that engaging to me, idk. btw here's a scene with a pantyshot of one of my favorite male characters, it's so clever and subversive that I just chuckled about it for hours on end.
