her eyes narrowed and her head tipped upwards; what was this man talking about? 

the stench of his noxian blood filled her nostrils and fogged her brain, but her stance remained firm, hand gripping her crossbow tightly. she was unsure how to proceed; swallowing thickly, she didn’t realize her throat became dry: her nerves were on peak edge. 

‘just show me where it is,’ she muttered lowly, not once taking her keen eyes off the man standing before her.she was putting her trust in a noxian; [tch, how foolish] – but she had no choice.

the sudden sound of a voice, stern and, with all intents and purposes, irritated, quinn straightened herself promptly, dropping what she had been holding unintentionally. the object – [a piece of bark she chipped from one of the many trees in the surrounding area. she had been carving into it mindlessly with her knife.] – fell to the snow near her feet without a sound. 

valor would get a solid scolding for not alerting her to the approaching person. 

‘i’m not doing anything,’ she defended herself, voice steady and firm. turning around to face whoever addressed her, she stared at the woman with narrow eyes, gold foil irises reflecting the sunlight. 

‘i’m indulging in a little r&r is all... ma’am.’

‘yes,’ she started, dragging a tired wrist across her mouth. her voice was nothing more than a hoarse croak, the bags under her normally shimmering, gold plated eyes were hanging low like dark clouds in a storm stricken sky. the tavern the pair were seated in was dim and empty, with only a few stragglers who were too unsteady on their feet to get very far scattered here and there.

‘i'm tired of all this talking; everything i hear these days is empty words and promises and bullshit so high my wings aren’t enough to keep me above it,’ she continued on, tipping the half empty glass of red wine -- [not her first glass or second, or third] -- against her chapped lips. the swallow was full and long, her gaze not once leaving fiora’s face, but she wasn’t looking at her -- but through her.

she remembers faces better than names; she has a bit of a disassociation with names and she can’t always pin a face to the name and vice versa. 

26: How does your character behave around children?

extremely awkward and unsure how to go about being surrounded by the little ones. she doesn’t dislike children, she just doesn’t know how to act around them; she’s more clumsy than usual, her stutter is more obvious, but she never stops smiling and trying her best despite that. 

44: How easy or difficult is it for your character to say “I love you?” Can they say it without meaning it?

it very rarely leaves her mouth, if at all. she says it to her mother, father, and valor, but she’s never said it to anyone else, nor experienced it ((love)) towards anyone else. she doesn’t have to say it without meaning it.
