So, god damn, I left John hanging like this. I’m gonna attempt to get back into the Jam of Homestuck rping again, because I’m slowly kinda missing my muses that I got. But I wanna start with this dork. I’m gonna probably listen to act 5 again so I can get it done and Act 6 restarted... Again... Whilst I try to get John going again. I’m gonna find some inbox stuff to reblog so-- Watch for that I guess.

     🌫𝐽𝑜ℎ𝑛;;– John wasn’t about to pry on this one, knowing that Ignatius could be a little defensive on this. Instead, he just moved over to his bed and opened up the sheets for him to lay or do whatever, starting up his wind abilities to cool the room down to a tolerable level to beat the summer heat.

     His brow gave a bit of an involuntary quirk as he processed what Ignatius requested. He didn’t want to waste electricity for some few hours with a hallway light or anything like that. Slowly, he had debated on leaving his desk light on, or... Wait, he had an idea. Moving to his closet, he began to move everything side to side, some of his clothes being tossed out as he could only mutter “I thought I had it”. Finally followed by an “AHA!” and the blue clad male walking out with a small lamp with what appeared to be holes in it.

     ‘ Okay, I know this is childish, but the light is way softer than my hall and desk lights combined. ‘ He set it up, unable to stop a chuckle from coming to pass him. ‘ I had this, when I had Casey still around, guess that’s a good thing. ‘

     With a click, the light came on and began to slowly spin, his eyes falling back to the younger male. ‘ Does that help? ‘

All he could do was nod, though he didn’t make a move towards the bed. A small part of his mind was berating himself for coming here, but truth be told he hadn’t known what else to do. He could’ve sworn he’d seen the lights flicker and threaten to shut off. Panic had set in and drove him to seek someone out.

That someone happened to be John. Ignatius really would’ve preferred his dad, but since that wasn’t an option at the moment, what else could he do? Even now he trembled at the thought of being left alone in the dark.

“C-Can you, um… maybe leave a light on…?” he softly asked, unable to scrape up enough of his pride to stay quiet.

Yes, Bill had once again left him in charge of Ignatius, and since he knew that Ignatius more or less wanted nothing to do with him, he just put on some random movie of his choosing and left him to his devices. Truthfully, he hardly knew he passed out. Well, until Ignatius showed up at his room, anyway. He was practically jolted awake by the sudden touch to his shoulder. Hazy blue eyes moved to Ignatius, trying to focus properly as he heard… Wait, what?

     ‘ Bad dream? Or you just can’t sleep? ‘ He managed to ask and pull himself up off his desk. ‘ Well, it’s honestly fine by me either way. You can go lay down on the bed– I’ll probably try to keep the room at a decent temperature until you fall asleep… Alright?
