Things feel heartbreaking, but I hope we can find comfort in one another and afford to take a break, breathe, and indulge in something for ourselves today. It's important to remember too to keep going and to keep creating, especially in the face of so much adversity. I'm sorry if this sounds too dramatic, but it's a good reminder every now and again, especially if you find yourself alone, you know? I’ve been thinking about this recently and I wonder… do people get inspired from my style? are there people who look at my art and want to draw like me? are there people who see my art the same way I saw others art years ago when I was still a complete beginner? I remember when I was still new to art I’d look at other people’s art and get so giddy imagining myself eventually reaching their level, imagining my ocs in their style in my head and daydreaming about all the things I could make once I got good at art. even though I don’t personally see myself as being an amazing artist even now, I sometimes wonder if there’s other people who see my art that way. I still think of myself as a novice, but maybe there’s others out there that see my art as something to strive towards. that idea feels surreal, and maybe it isn’t even true yet? but the idea that it could be makes me feel something indescribable, though definitely good. I wonder what little me would think if they saw my art. maybe if they’d be amazed, someone else could feel that way too.
