When – usually after several years of practice – we have learned not to be carried away by thoughts, we can loosen our concentration on the breath and include in our sphere of awareness every internal and external perception: noises, sensations, thoughts… In practice, we will be able to notice everything without allowing ourselves to be distracted by anything. Our mind will (in principle) be calm and quiet.
As a practitioner, I'd say that meditation increases one's physical and physiological functions. The calm mind brought by one's steady breathing brings clarity to your state of mind, right on the present. With such intensity, focus are attained and maintained for one to execute any task at hand. Some call it the zone, I simply like to remind myself that it is the present moment.

It was summer of 2015. One of the hottest one in the country's recent history. Thirty-five plus degrees celcius was the average. All the heat was all worth it. From Tokyo to Osaka, from Kyoto to Nara, and to the magical Shizuoka, was a three-week journey that made me fell in love with the country, the people and the landscape that is Japan.

Nature is a master of #design and #composition. The way this bird props his head is 99% better than most graphic designers using #whitespace.

“Trust is one of the most precious and fragile currencies we have in our lives,” she says. “It enables us to take risks and try new things, and it acts as a bridge between the known and the unknown. Being wise about trust doesn’t mean being [overly] skeptical. It means giving trust the time, investment, and care it deserves.”

The original Minaal Daily pack has always been weak on the color front to my eye. So I attempted a fix. What do you think?

Call it a habit, but I capture different point of views when I use a 'real' camera. This is Italy. Italians. The people of Italy that makes the city alive. Don't mind me, see the world through their eyes.

Haven't seen anything quite like this one. Even without the blessing of the Pope (it was), this would be an amazing site to visit on its own. It's like tranquility in chaos, with a bit of a drama in between. Lots of love. #travel #backpacking (at Kryziu Kalnas) https://www.instagram.com/w1ll/p/Bqnp3QqgiLC/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=urxrvfklhbgz
