Survivors Guilt part 5
Reader feels things slowly going back to normal.
Reader is now the oldest out of the small group of trouble making Sully's, they are now her problem.
Tumblr media
A full year has passed. The clan gladly took you back in. Word of the mighty young warrior who lead and died for Eywa coming back by their goddesses will spread quick across Pandora.
It took Jake and Tsu'tey some time to accept this, but you had to be on the field again. You were a fighter, one they needed to protect the people.
You took lead of multiple raids. You had a method of attacking at night. Only choosing small amount of people, less people less dead. That's what you liked to think.
And this method works well. A lot of the Na'vi you trained and worked with all those years ago grew to be older and brave warriors.
Those were the ones you mainly choose to come help on the night raids. Occasionally some of them had their own children come. Which you didn't mind due to their children being older than yourself at this time.
During the year you had came back, Tsu'tey officially adopted you. You still call him by his name, but there are times when the words 'Papa' or 'Father' would slip out.
Since you were practically the Sully kids cousin. Oldest at that, you become a little overprotective.
Not as overbearing as Jake could be, but you did scold them here and there.
Spider and Lo'ak were probably the ones you had to keep eyes on the most.
You sighed deeply, coming back from a raid that took longer then expected. One of your people nearly died. And you kind of went out of control by going feral on the drones.
Your protective nature doesn't only happen with your family. It stretches to the whole clan.
When a group is with you on a raid or mission, best believe you will do everything in your power to make sure they make it home to their families.
If it risks the mission? Then so be it. You'll strike harder next time.
"Ma Y/n. Have you eaten?" Tsu'tey spoke. You hummed as you shook your head.
"Here, you always leave on empty stomach." Tsu'tey spoke a little irritated. You smiled as you took the bowl of fruit that was now your lunch for the day.
"Y/N!" You could hear Tuk shout from out of the tent. You chuckled a little. You attempted to get up but was stopped by Tsu'tey.
"Stay, you rest." Tsu'tey spoke as he walked out the tent the two of you shared. You did as told.
You were pretty tired, and you could always play with Tuk later.
"Hi uncle! Can I see Buba??" Tuk practically was jumping in excitement. Tsu'tey had a fond look on his face. He knelt down to be near Tuk's hight.
"Buba is resting right now little one. But she will tuck you in tonight." Tsu'tey says, pating Tuk's head.
Tuk pouted a little " okay. But can you give this to her? I made it!" Tuk handed Tsu'tey a poorly made necklace? It was rather big.
"I will. Now run off now."
Tuk giggles and runs off to play with her friends.
The next morning you were wearing the necklace. It was rather big but you didn't bother making it smaller. You liked the way it was. So you kept it the same.
"This is. . . Interesting." You say as you stared down at Spider, who's smile quickly dropped at your tone.
"What? What's wrong." He asked.
"Hm? Oh! No nothing is wrong." You were quick to change your tone and facial expression. Spider didn't believe you.
He was covered in blue paint stripes. It was just a little shocking for you to see.
"You don't like it." Spider plainly said. He wasn't wrong, but it's not like you didn't hate it.
"What- ah. . . It's just a little surprising. I didn't expect to see this and I shouldn't have reacted the way I did. That's my fault. Sorry."
Spider didn't feel any better by your apology.
"The animals respect me more because of these! And I blend in a little more. Ya know?" Spider seemed a little sullen. You felt a little guilty for making him sad.
You know he's struggling with his appearance.
You gave him a soft smile and ruffled his head, you bent down and gave him a small peck on his forehead.
"Come, help me hunt. Let's see if those stripes of yours will actually help."
Life was nice again. Yes there were some bad times. But you were able to live with it.
But there was just one thing that you couldn't control. And that was your night terrors.
Screaming and kicking. Tsu'tey would be able to quickly calm you before you wake the whole high camp. You would be crying by the end.
Images of your nightmares stayed with you.
When your night terrors first started up, Jake reassured you it was normal. He had them a lot. So he was able to help you cope with them.
But one day, Tsu'tey woke up late in the night. Finding you were not near him. He was quick to panic and quickly exits the tent. Just to see you right out of the tent.
Dagger in hand, mumbling english words, a look in your eyes that scared him a little.
"Ma Y/n?" Tsu'tey spoke. You didn't respond. You closed your eyes shut and started to rant in your english words.
He only recognized a few of the words.
'She'
'Hurt'
'Don't'
That's all he could understand. But there were many words you spoke that was hard for him to understand.
Tsu'tey reached out for you and grabbed your shoulder.
That's when your fighting instincts kicked in. Grabbing his hand and throwing him on the grownd. Quickly getting on him, putting the dagger to his throat.
When you realized it was Tsu'tey. You dropped the dagger and crawled off him. You apologized multiple times. Tsu'tey just held you close.
Tsu'tey told Jake about this, and Jake now sees that you might need to see Norm and Max about this.
But Neytiri didn't want your to be back down with the Sky people to solve whatever was happening with you. So she insisted you see Tsahik.
Mo'at did a ritual on you.
"The child needs to be a child, Jakesully. This violence is all she knows. Let her enjoy the life around her more. Let her enjoy life as much as she takes it." Mo'at's words used to be so confusing to Jake. But after connecting with Eywa and the Na'vi. He understood. And he didn't mind doing what she said.
Ever since, Jake has you be with the kids more.
And there was a quick change. Letting you have a childhood is helping calm the night terrors.
Right now, you were with Kiri, she was patching you up after you had to save Spider from a fall. He was on a high tree and was goofing around.
"Sorry." Spider mumbled. You just laughed and ruffle his hair. "Don't worry little one. It's not bad." You reassured him.
"Ow! Damn it Kiri chill down with the wrapping will you?" You plead as you looked back at Kiri. The young Na'vi girl just chuckled.
"Stop falling out of trees and maybe I don't have to keep doing this." She snapped back. You frown. You wanted to clap back but she's the one who's patching you up.
She might just make it hurt more out of pettiness. Would Kiri actually do that?
Yes, yes she would. She has, and always will.
"Their back! Guys their back!" Tuk suddenly popped up, then began to run off.
The three of you all gave each other a look and quickly ran off to see the ones who have returned from this evening's raid.
"Tsu'tey!" You shout. You ran to him with a big smile and jumped on him. He let out a harty laugh as he hugged you back.
"What happened? What is this?" Tsu'tey noticed a few scratches and a deep one on your arm. You swat his hand away from the injured arm
"I was playing around and fell. It is okay." You responded a little cheeky. Tsu'tey hugged in amusement and pat your head.
You two then see Jake scolding the boys. You frown, knowing something must have happened again. You and Tsu'tey made your way to the Sully family.
"Jake." You spoke. Jake stopped shouting at the boys.
You walked to Lo'ak and see that he's has scratches all over him.
"What happened?" You cupped the younger face to check for any other injurys.
"I'm fine. . . " Lo'ak mumbles. You sign and held Lo'ak in a small hug, his head under your chin you looked back at Jake who was clearly mad
"These two knuckleheads were only supposed to be look outs! But they decided to disobey me and it nearly cost their lives!"
You eyed Jake with a stern look in your eyes. You understand his distress but you just didn't like how he always shouted at them. You use your other hand to motion Neteyam to you. He does and you cupped his face with that hand and turn him around.
"Jake he's bleeding." You gently let go of both boys and examine Neteyam wound more.
Jake paused. He closed his eyes, and calmed himself down a little.
"Go get patched." Jake practically commanded.
"Yes sir." Both boys did as told and walked of with their mother and sisters.
You let Tsu'tey and Jake alone and signaled Spider to come by your side. He was quick to come and walk away from the two older Na'vi men.
You had Spider hold your hand as you two walked through high camp.
"Promise me not to get hurt like that Spider." That wasn't a question. Spider squeezed your hand at your serious tone. He nods and let out a small: "Yes Ma'am."
You chuckled when he said "ma'am".
You kept Spider close. You saw him as your own, you didn't care what the others thought. You know who his father was.
And you didn't give a shit.
You and Tsu'tey had a lot of arguments about Spider. In all honesty, you didn't see Spider as a sibling, more like a child. Your child.
He was just so small you couldn't help it. Tsu'tey hated Spider, it was clear. It's not like you don't care for Tsu'tey's feelings, you cared deeply for what Tsu'tey felt.
But like you had said before. You don't want to hate or judge someone because of what their kin did.
Spider is a child. He has a lot to learn and needs help. Your not the best to guide him when you are still needing guidance yourselves, but you could still help.
It was early in the morning, you were at the labs to be with Spider and just do whatever. But Spider decided he wanted to watch your blogs. Again.
"You've seen my blogs a hundred times." You say as you started to pull up your files on the screen. Spider just sat in his chair waiting for you to just play the videos.
"Just play them!"
You rolled your eyes playfully and played them. You let him watch them as you got to work.
You then got a message from Jake over the inner coms. You had to come patrol.
"I'll be back little one, don't get into trouble." Yous at as you kissed his head goodbye.
"Okay. Bye" You said as he kept his eyes on the screen. You smile down at him fondly and left.
Your new Ikran, Chaim, named after your late brother. Chaim was a playful one.
"Come on boy. Let's do this." You say as you made your bond and flew off to meet with the others. Letting out yeping sounds as you took off.
Flying into the Hallelujah mountains. You met up with the others. You flew close to Netyam, the young Na'vi boy being in the middle of you and his mother, Neytiri.
Jake and Tsu'tey flying a little above you three.
"Your birthday is coming up! You decided what your doing?" Jake spoke up. You perk up at the mention of your birthday.
You inhaled deeply, realizing that your going to be 17 soon. Time dure does fly by quick. You had a small smile on your face, remembering your past, and rather chaotic birthdays.
But that smile faded as you soon realized this will be the first time you would be celebrating your birthday without either both your brother, or mother.
"It depends. Hey, I can drink yeah? Since I'm a warrior, technically an adult by Na'vi laws, yeah?" You say with a smirk. Neytiri snorted at that, knowinv full well of her husbands answer
"Ha! Nice try, with you, I'm going with Earth laws. None of that till you reach your 20's kiddo. Your already a handful when sober." Jake says, Tsu'tey responded with a nod, agreeing to what Jake said.
"Wha-. . . Bro. Not cool." You say with a small pout. Netyam laughed along with his mother. Causing everyone else to laugh at one point.
The laughing died down a little. Suddenly, someone spoke on the inner coms. It was Lo'ak.
He gave a report of unknown avatars in the area, wearing military gear with guns on them.
You frowns, feeling the tension in the air.
"Who's we?" Jake spoke after Lo'ak finished his small report.
It went silent. Being a little anxious you spoke. Repeating Jake's question.
"Lo'ak, who is with you." You say in a stern tone.
The boy sighed deeply. "Me, Kiri, Spider. . . And Tuk."
Panic took over your facial expression when the last two were mentioned.
What the hell was Spider doing at there!? You left him at the labs. You left him somewhere safe. You looked at Tsu'tey, a desperate look in your eyes, telling him exactly what you were thinking.
"Okay son. Listen to me, stay there. We're on our way." As Jake continued to talk to Lo'ak, you had Chaim go faster, the Ikran let out a small screach as he felt your overprotective mode kick in. Feeling that rush in his body caused him to go faster. The same with the others. Neytiri especially.
It got worse when another person spoke on the inner coms. Someone who was not Lo'ak or the other young ones.
Your heart dropped, hearing the familiar voice.
After confirming it was the devil himself that came back. All your fears, all the hurt you didn't want to come back. Was rushing right back at you.
Wasting no time, you has Chaim go faster.
Spider was scared shitless. But he wasn't going to let it show. Knowing that he and his friends were now held captive by his father who was known to be a horrible demon that caused you and many others suffer, was scary.
But you were going to save them. You always came to save him. So that put him to ease.
Lyle pulled up a video from the memories of the robot that had fell along with Quaritche's human body.
"That's Sully's woman. . . She's an animal." Quritche says with distaste.
Spider could see the video from the place he was tied up in.
Then he saw a human girl. The harder he looked, the more familiar she began to look.
Quritche paused the video. Zooming in on the girls face. The man stared at the image of the girl.
"I'm going to kill that little traitor." Lyle spat, venom layced with his words. Quritche didn't look away from the image as he spoke
"No."
The others in his team look at their commander as if he lost his mind. "Listen up team. We kill off the Sully's. But Y/n, is off limits. . . Is that understood!"
Spider then realized, that the girl in that video, was none other then you. You looked so young, so small and weak.
"What? Come on captain. She killed you! Us!" One of the members say, a little angered by whT their commanders order.
"She should pay for what she's done." Lyle stepped in on the conversation.
"She'll kill you all." Spider suddenly spoke.
"Spider!" Kiri whispers/yelled. Waring her dear friend to stop talking.
Quaritche raided a brow and handed Lyle the small screen and started to walk closer to Spider. Causing Lo'ak to growl and try to brake free from the ties he was in, along with the grip of the avatar that held him.
"Is that so?" Quritche says with a smile on his face that made Spider wanna punch.
"Y/n is the best warrior! She'll kill you before you have the chance to even try to hurt them!" Spider says, referring to the Sully kids.
Quritche scoffed "Nah, I know her more then the lot of you. Trust when I day she'll surrender."
Sadly, Quritche was very right. Hee knows you, your fighting style, bothe human and Na'vi. Your weakness to younger children around you.
And how quick your temper is if he says the right words that can make you go wild.
He knows everything about you. And you know everything about him.

Survivors Guilt part 4
Reader feels like a new person, at peace with no enemies. She admirers the changes, all Possitive and negative.
You breathed in. Feeling the fresh air going in your lungs. You were meditating, feeling your surroundings listening to the animals close by, and from afar.
You slowly opened your eyes. Expecting to see Tsu'tey, standing in front of you, like the old days. Like it was before.
You scanned everything around you. Your eyes catch someone hiding in the trees. You smile a little, hearing whispers.
"Sully kids! Is that you?" You shout. You see the smallest one pop her head out. You gave her a small smile.
"Don't be shy! Come down, I don't mean harm." You say gently. One by one, the kids come down from the trees. Little Tuk was the one who came running, hugging you as tight as she could.
You chuckled and pat her head.
"How have you all been? It's been three days since we last met, no?"
Kiri nods as she and her brothers got closer. Tuk pulled away and retreated back to her siblings
"Spider is napping at the moment, but I can go fetch him so you all could play." You suggest.
"Ah! No, no. We wanted to speak with you." Kiri spoke up. The Sully children shared a look before Neteyam spoke first
"It's about our uncle, Tsu'tey." You frown a little. Wondering what they were trying to do here.
"Uncle's really sad and really sorry!" Tuk shouted anxiously. You sighed and shook your head
"No, it is I who should be sorry." You say as you say back down on the ground.
"Wait, what? But uncles the one you called you a demon. He made you cry!" Lo'ak said, sitting down in front of you. The others follow suit.
". . . Years ago, Quatitch killed Grace and my mother."
Kiri shifted a little by the mention of her mother. The kids listen closely in what you were saying. "My mother was my everything. My world. And when she was taken away from me I. . . I--" you paused for a moment, hanging your head down.
"I was consumed by anger. I wanted the one who took my mother away from me dead. And I was willing to do whatever it took." The look of regret took over your face. Looking up to the others with a somber look in your eyes.
"Tsu'tey could see what was happening to me. He wanted to calm me before I did something I would most likely regret. But I didn't listen. I shoved him and your father away. And left them behind without thinking of what it would do to them." You looked at them in silence. You missed years of them growing up, you missed so many things.
"If I were him I would be angry too. And me coming back so suddenly. . . All I am saying is I understand. And when your uncle is ready, I'll get to properly apologize" You smiled once more. It was a little forced, but you were genuine of it. As you were with your words
"But, you do know Uncle is stubborn. That is why we are here. So you can speak with him on your own. " Kiri says. You sighed deeply, knowing all too well of Tsu'tey and his stubbornness.
"I'll try. But not today, tomorrow at eclipse. That will be the best time."
The children smile happily at your response.
"Can we play now??" Tuk whined. You and the others chuckle lightly.
It was the next morning. And you were a little anxious. What if Tsu'tey lashes out again? Your heart can't take it again.
"Max! Give me something to work on." You ordered.
Max was taken aback. You used to run away when he gave you homework. But he took this as a chance for you to study on what has been going on these past years in detail.
"Okay, I'll get some paper work. Be back in a second." Max says, leaving you in the room on your own.
You looked around the room. Was it always this small? When did they thoroughly cleaned the place? It looked a little damaged. Not as bad as the outside.
You huff out a breath of unease. This was getting a little overwhelming for you. You started to wonder how long Max was going to take.
"I'm back!"
Your head quickly turns to the door where Max stood with a big load of papers and a few books. You silently thanked Eywa, knowing you would have gone crazy being alone in such a small place any longer.
Taking the work, you inhaled from your mask to breath the toxic air inside.
Max stayed with you as you worked. You looked so mature and focused. Even though you look the same as the day they lost you, you seemed to have really changed.
"Damn. That's. . . That's a lot of dead. Jesus some of these are children." You were looking over the death of the ones that fight to make sure the RDA isn't evolving too much.
Max hummed, saddened that you had to see all of this again. But you just layed back in your chair. Processing as much as you can.
"Hey, we can stop here. It's almost noon and you haven't been out of the room since morning. How bout some freash air?" Max suggested.
"Nope--" you lightly slap the tank you have been breathing from behind you "--got all I need right here."
Max shook his head. You sounded like Jake for a second. Max left as you continue to refuse his offer to leave.
"Hey Max! Where's Y/n. Been looking for her." Spider says as he ran up to Max. The older man sees a ball in the boys hand and eyes it. Spider notices.
"Oh, this? Y/n said she teach me how to do different types of throws. So I wanted to learn now." Spider was rather happy while speaking.
Max was happy the two have gotten along so fast. The whole avatar group thought it would be best to keep the two away from each other.
Due to the history behind you and his father. But you seemed to have accepted him rather quickly.
"She's doing paper work right now, it's been past due for her to stop but she just won't leave. How bout you drag her out side with you to play?"
Spider thought about it. "Sure."
The door opened, you didn't pay mind thinking it was Max.
"If you got some more for me , set it in front of me. Almost done with these." You spoke, keeping your eyes on the paper work.
Spider sets the ball in front of you. Your ears perk and slowly look up to see Spider. The stoic look you had faded away and turned into a soft smile
"Little one! What's up?"
Spider inhales deeply "I heard what happened with Tsu'tey. . . It's almost eclipse. Max told me you haven't been out since morning." Spider was a little worried, but also I little conflicted.
With the story he heard from Max. The relationship between you and Tsu'tey sounded like a very precious one. And Spider wants you to have that back.
But then again, Tsu'tey called you a demon and claimed you were not the Y/n he knew.that kinda pissed Spider off.
But it's your choice.
"It's probably not my place. But I think talking to him now, will be better then never." His words were short and straight forward. But it held meaning. A lot to you.
You sighed. Spider was right. You were stalling and was about to give an excuse for not being able to make it. You stood up, towering Spider.
You pat his head and grabbed the ball he put on the desk from before.
"How about we play a small game. I'll teach you some new tricks." You say with a small smirk. Spider happily follows you.
It was eclipse. You had claimed up to high camp. Finally making it there, it was as busy as you had left it. You walk pass a few avatars and scientists. Giving nods to each other as a single for a greeting.
You see Neytiri up ahead. Along with Mo'at.
"Ole ngati kameie, Neytiri. Ole ngati kameie Mo'at" you greeted them both formally. Neytiri smiled fondly at you.
"Ole ngati kameie, Y/n." Both Neytiri and Mo'at greeted you back.
"I am here to see Tsu'tey. I want to talk" You say, a little nervous.
Mo'at smiles with satisfaction. At least one of them have steeped up to settle things. Mo'at stares at you a little longer while you and Neytiri talked.
She sees a big difference. Back then, you were like a baby. Always touching things. Always asking questions. Was curious about everyone and everything
But you begin to mature. To understand. You began to see. You started to slowly become one of the people.
Then your mother died.
When you didn't cry. When you didn't scream in pain. It didn't concern Mo'at back then. Because she assumed this was how you were trained.
But no, it was something darker. And you released that darkness on the day of the battle.
Now You were calm, at peace. But there was still some of that darkness. She could see it in your eyes.
"Y/n! Hey, your back." You and Jake dab each other up. You smiled as you huged him. The two of you laughed and poked fun at each other.
". . . Tsu'tey, had said he would be at the spirit tree." Jake says. A little nervous. But confident and hopeful about the fate of the two.
You let out a short shaky sigh. "Alright. Umm, c-can you be my ride? I don't have Hawun. . . With me."
A flash of realization was in your eyes. Your first Ikran. You didn't even get to spend at least a year with him. It pained your heart, knowing that he has been gone for more then you felt.
Neytiri grabbed your hand and gave you a empathetic look. Right, Seze is gone as well. Neytiri feels your pain. And you feel hers at the squeeze of each other's hand
Jake huffed out a smile and ruffled your head.
"Sure kiddo." Jake took your hand and had you follow the family nest of Ikran's. Neytiri following close.
"Wow, Bob. . . " You say as you look at the Ikran in awe. Even the damned Ikran looked different. You were wondering how the hell that was possible.
Jake smirked "I know right, he's gotten stronger of the years. Carrying more then he used to." Jake practically bragged. Neytiri rolled her eyes from behind her husband.
Your eyes fliker from Jake to the Ikran.
"Yes. He looks just like his hunter. . . Old." You say with a sly smirk. Neytiri was shocked by the words and ended up bursting out in giggles. Immediately stopping when her husband turned his head to her in a look of betrayal.
He turned back to you with a deadpand face
"Just get on the damn Ikran." Jake was offended and being petty. You laughed and hopped on. Looking back at Neytiri with that same smile. Causing Neytiri to smile even more.
Making Neytiri feel a little young again. She missed time with you.
The two of you were close in age back then so. It was easy to get along.
Tsu'tey kneeled in front of the spirit tree. No matter how much he tried. He couldn't bring himself to connect to the spirit tree.
He used to do it all the time to talk to Sylwanin. And he would try to reach you. To connect with you. But he always ended up seeing Grace.
Which always scared the hell out of him due to Grace and your mother always looking the same here and there. Facing your mother is also something Tsu'tey can't bring himself to do.
He had failed to protect the daughter that your mother loved for so much.
He looks down at your song cord. He practically brings it everywhere with him. An uncomplicated verse was the last thing you had added on after you added a bead for your ceremony.
Suddenly, Tsu'tey heard the familiar sound of Ikran wings flapping near by. When it got closer. He frowns and turns his head to see Neytiri and Jake.
His mind panicked a little when he sets his eyes on the younger Na'vi who was riding with Jake.
Tsu'tey watched the three convorsate before you finally began to walk towards him. Your big eyes glancing up to him here and there, but never daring to look him in the eyes.
". . . ."
It was silent for a hot minute. Then you decide to speak first.
"Ole ngati kameie, Tsu'tey"
You bowed your head a little when your hand went from your fourehead then down back to your side.
Tsu'tey was stoic, staring you down intensely.
You inhaled deeply, getting ready to speak once more, but before you could even let out a sound, Tsu'tey spoke.
"You look like her."
Those words threw you off. You tilt your head a little, clearly confused by his words.
Tsu'tey turned and walked closer to the spirit tree. You stayed in place, staring at the glowing vines. The sight of them made your head hurt just a little.
You followed Tsu'tey as he continued on.
"When I was younger. Your mother and Grace taught us the sky people language. And some of their ways." Tsu'tey kneeled down. You followed and kneeled next to him. Staring down at the soft moss.
"You've told me this before. . . " You say as you touch the moss underneath you. Playing with it out of anxiety. You were still so nervous, and the location you were currently at was not helping.
You let out a shaky sigh "I. . . I'm sorry." You felt tears coming. All the emotions you were holding up were finally coming to surface.
"I'm sorry. So, so sorry." Shame layced your small voice.
Tsu'tey didn't respond. Only huffing out a small sigh, pulling you close to his chest with one arm as you let out the tears.
Your apology was general. An apology for not only him, but for everyone you left and couldn't save.
"I know, ma Y/n. I know. . . " Tsu'tey spoke, his voice small. But firm. There was no space for him to apologize for his own actions. Seeing that you were to bring focused on. Nothing else should matter. Just you in his arms.
And he doesn't intend to let go this time.

Okay, so I came up with this idea where reader is Jake's kid back from Earth and they come to Pandora undercover to help the Na'vi overthrow the RDA.
She had to go through this hardcore training to make her acting believable.
She gets in a bad situation and is caught by Jake and Neytiri. Norm recognized readers last name (she doesn't uses Jake's last name) as one of the undercover people.
It takes a while for Norm to get reader out of her acting. Making her know that it isn't a test made by the RDA.
She starts to help around and gets close with some of the Sully's.
One night she and Jake are alone and the two of them started drinking. She starts to vent about her life and her father(him but he doesn't know) and how he left her. She says that she's looked for him for so long, just for her to find out he go with a woman and had children. Completely forgetting about her.
Jake feels sorry for her and says "I'm sorry"
But reader just looked at him. Completely disappointed and says "No. Your not sorry."
Idk. Too lazy to write a full story but it sounds cool!

Survivors Guilt Part 3
Part 2, book 1
Tumblr media
"No. She is not Ma Y/n"
His wards shattered the world around you. You frown deeply before shaking your head. "Tsu'tey, what are you saying it's me--" You were able to take ahold of his hand.
You bring his hand to your chest to feel your beating heart.
Tsu'tey pulls away slowly. Giving you a look you couldn't identify. But you know it was one that was hurting you bad right now.
Tsu'tey walks away quickly. You watched him leave you. Your heart dropped to your stomach.
"What has gotten into you!?"
"Calm down Neytiri"
"She is right Jakesully. Tsu'tey this is not the way"
The Sully kids, besides from Tuk who was with you at the moment, were listening in on the adults.
"What are they talking about?" Kiri whispers.
"Y/n. She and Uncle had. . . Like a fight or something" Lo'ak respond. Neteyam shushed them so they can continue to listen.
"Look. Brother. I know this is a lot for you. But she is real. Y/n is back!" Jake spoke. But Tsu'tey was reluctant. Not wanting to believe that sh was back.
". . . " Tsu'tey was silent as Mo'at, Neytiri and Jake were lecturing him, trying to convince him that you were back with Eywa's help.
Usually, Tsu'tey will understand. Especially when their goddess is involved. But this was you. The day you left this world. His became dark.
That day you called him your father. He stays awake thinking if you would still call him that if he had protected you. But no one could know how far you could have went with all that anger you had.
Meanwhile out of the tent. The kids started to realize how important you were. Not only to the clan. But to your parents, to Tsu'tey.
"What are you kids doing?" A voice spoke.
The three teens turn and see Y/n and Tuk.
You had a stern look on your face
"Uhh we-- Um."
The kids were a little nervous to respond. Then suddenly a shout was heard from in the tent. It was Tsu'tey's voice. Causing you to walk closer to the tent and listen in.
"That is not ma Y/n!" Tsu'tey spoke harshly.
"That--that thing. . . That DEMON! Is not my little one!"
A gasp escaped your lips.
You backed away. Stumbling a little, causing you to trip on a cattle and falling. Causing noise loud enough for the ones inside to tent to hear.
Jake and Neytiri hurry outside and see you. You look up with teary eyes. Neytiri's ears slick back, seeing how heart heart broken you look.
Connecting the dots, she realizes that you heard what Tsu'tey said.
"Oh, little one." She mumbles as she takes a few steps to you. You glance behind the couple and make eye contact with Tsu'tey.
Your bottom lip begins to quiver. You quickly get up, hot tears pouring down your face. You turn and stomp away.
"Wait! Y/n!" Jake ran for you, trying to calm you down.
Neytiri frowns and looked back to Tsu'tey.
"You better fix this." She got closer to him
"She's not just a warrior. She's a child. One who still just lost her mother." Neytiri couldn't fathom the thought of her children lossing her at such a young age.
Especially for Neteyam. He's the closest age to Y/n right now.
"Y/n-- Hey come on kiddo! Wait!" Jake was following the young teen as she was about to leave high camp.
You stop as Jake caught your arm and forcing you to then to him. "Please." Your voice cracked when you spoke.
Avoiding eye contact with Jake, you slowly pulls away from him. Jake watched as you just stood in place.
"I'll be at the labs. . . I just need time." You say, sniffling a little, Jake understood and backed off. But before you left he dragged you in a tight hug.
He pulled away and gave you a soft smile.
'I'm here for you.'
You were taken aback, thinking he forgot how to sign after all this time. A small smile graces your tear stained face.
'Thank you, Jake.'
It was eclipse. You were back at the labs. Sitting on the roof as you stared at the sky.
"Hey. . . "
You turn and see Spider. You quickly wipe up ur face and turn back to smile at him.
"Little one!" You watched as Spider sat down. "Aren't you supposed to be resting? It's past your bed time." You say the last part in a joking way.
Spider rolled his eyes and chuckled.
The two of you say in silence. Staring at the stars. You look over to him and stare at him. Spider feels your eyes on him. He looks back at you.
"What. . .?"
You begin to let out an amusing scoff.
"It's just. . . Wow." You look out to the forest before taking a big breath in. "What? What is it?"
Spider was curious. What was on your mind.
You look at him. The look you gave him, it was probably the fondest look he's gotten from a Na'vi. You ruffle his head "I'll tell you when you're older."
Was all you said.
You pulled him closer to you. "You know that star there? That's where I came from." You spoke, pointing out to a specific star.
"Earth? How was it there? I've been told that its dying." Spider shifted his body to face you.
"Well. . . Yeah, earth isn't as beautiful as Pandora. But, my mother kept these old videos her grandfather had. Showing how beautiful the world used to be. . . How beautiful humans used to be." You seemed a little down. Something was up
"Umm, miss. You can tell me what's bothering you. I know we don't know each other that much, and you did just kinda come back from the dead"
You paused for a moment. Your smile falters.
". . . So many years have passed. So many people have changed. . . Someone who I thought of as a father . . . " You felt the tears forming.
"The way he looked at me. . . Like I was some. . . Some--"
"Demon?" Spider spoke, finishing your last part.
You look at him. Seeing that he must have felt this way as well.
"I understand. I'm not that well liked by the clan either. . ." Spider made it seemed like he didn't care. But you were his age once. And you know he's probably hurting.
"What? How come?" You slightly cursed yourself, knowing the true reason why. But didn't want to explain why you knew.
"Heh, look at me! And plus. My dad was one of the people who killed many of the Na'vi." His head hung down in shame. You frown, glancing down at him.
You used your hand to lift his head from under his chin. "No one should judge a person by their kin. If that were, a lot of people would be hateful then ever."
You moved your hand and brought your knees to your chest. "Hate is dangerous. Hate can push you over the edge and. . . Possibly kill you."
Your speaking from experience. You killed Quaritch. And you finally feel at peace. Yes, Tsu'tey might hate you right now. But you understand why.
He gave you so many warnings about your anger. But that time you were already consumed by the hate.
Tsu'tey had your songcord. It's been short all these years. He's sung that same short tune for years.
Maybe. . . Just maybe. The song could continue.
He knew what he said hurt. But he just couldn't believe you, standing in front of him. Feeling your heartbeat. It was too unreal. Like a dream.
He doesn't know this fully yet. But he's afraid. If he accepts that your back. That your alive, and here become Eywa sees you must fight and help heal the clan of their lost.
What happens when you fulfill your reason of being back. What happens if you die fighting again?
What happens if he losses you again?
He wouldn't be able to handle that pain again.

Survivors Guilt Part 2
Summary: Y/n comes back with the help of Eywa. She is reunited with the ones she left behind. But some are still mourning, one is still in denial. Two are not truthful.
Part 1, Book 1
"Go home Spider, I have to get this one home-" Jake began to pull Y/n away, but you stopped
"Wait, why can't he come? He can't go home alone, let's take him home at least." You said as you pulled your hand away, holding your arm out to Spider. Signaling for him to come to your side.
The boy only reached to her hip.
Jake glanced between the two. Honestly, Jake doesn't mind Spider being around, but he knows if Neytiri sees Spider even 5 feet away from Y/n, she'll attack the poor boy for being "too close"
But he agreed to take Spider back to the labs with you.
"I'll come back. See you later little man." You ball up your first and put it in front of him. Spider was a little disappointed that they couldn't hang out a little longer. But as long as you would come back, it's alright.
He does the little bump fist. You grin and ruffle his head softly before leaving with Jake.
You looked at everything around you. So many things have changed. You couldn't believe it.
"Ever since the RDA came back, we decided to move here. It's safer for the people." Jake was taking you to the healing tents. Trying the best path that wouldn't make others notice you.
He stopped at one and grabbed your hand. He squeezed it tight. You got a little nervous, walking into the tent with him. There Neytiri and Mo'at stood, Mo'at looked up at the two.
Mo'at, for a second had a flashback to the time the two of them first got here.
Neytiri scanned you over. She walked slowly to you, cupping your face. You haven't aged a bit. Neytiri couldn't help but smother you with kisses as she thanked Eywa for giving them their bravest warrior back.
Mo'at walked over to the three with a smile.
"We will announce this to the clan. To the spirit tree!"
Your ears slick down. Your mind goes into a panic.
"S-spirt. . . Tree?" You pull away from Neytiri and start to fidget.
"Jake. Ha, I- I don't think I can go out in front of others. I ju-just got back. . . And everything, everyone has changed so much."
Jake glanced between Mo'at and Y/n.
"She's right. How about we keep her hidden until her time is right." Jake says as you shuffled behind him.
"What do you mean Jake? She is the sign from Eywa! The clans miracle!" Neytiri gave Y/n a pleading look.
"You lead the people that day. You saved so many of the people by sacrificing yourself. . . " Neytiri grabbed Y/n's shoulders, slightly shaking the younger.
"Eywa sent you in our time of need. Please. . . Please." Neytiri sobbed as her head dropped into the croke of Y/n's neck.
Y/n doesn't want to go back to the spirit tree. Who would want to go back to the same place their mother died?
But you couldn't help but feel for Neytiri. Knowing she has probably suffered so much. Y/n slowly wrapped her arms around the older.
You glanced up at Jake with slightly teary eyes. You licked your lips before speaking "I'll do it."
Jake frowns. He knows that once you agree to something and have your mind set on it, your not going down easily.
You stared up at the ceiling of your tent. Fiddling with your old blade. Caressing the hand carved handle.
Someone entered the tent. Your ears perk at the sound and turn your head to see Jake.
"Ah. . . Toruk Makto." A strained smile graced your lips. That dropped when you see the two Na'vi boys from early.
"Y/n. . . I just wanted to fill you in on more details." Jake says as the tents flap closed you signaled him and the other two to sit.
"So. . . Um, nice to see you two again? You know them Jake? " You asked, looking at your friend.
Jake frowns, also confused as he looked at the two boys then back at you "How do you know them?"
"Oh, when I found Spider, these two and their sisters came along at one point. Helped me take the small one back." You say as you straighten up.
Jake glanced back at the boys before looking back at you.
"Where was this at again?"
"Where I fought Lyle." You smirked, knowing you killed the bald egg looking stain that was a pain to you since day one.
A look of anger and frustration took over Jake's face as he fully looked at the boys.
"How many times have I told you kids!? The battle field is a no zone!"
Jake spoke in a stern voice. Speaking in Na'vi. You frown at his words. You watched as Jake scolded the boys. You scoffed a little, this scene looking a little too familiar.
Then it hit you.
". . . Are they. . . Oh God, Jake!" You suddenly stood
"Are you. . .!” you begin to point at Jakes chest then glanced between him and the boys. Jake smiled nervously
"Heh, Y/n. I'd like you to meet my sons. Well, you already know their names. . . So uh, yeah." Jake tried to not let put a burst of a laughter out by seeing how your jaw dropped
Neteyam and Lo'ak couldn't understand much of the conversation their father was having with the younger Na'vi. They never got a hold of english
Before coming to the tent, their mother and father explained Y/n's story. About her becoming one of the people with Jake, her mother's death and how she fought in the war.
And how she was the one who killed Quaritch
The two boys had their heads down most of the time ever since they got into the tent. Wanting to show a little more respect for her.
You just sat back down, your head in your hands.
"I don't believe this. . . Jesus Christ. . . "
Jake rushed by your side to calm you "I know this is a lot. That's why I was able to convince Neytiri and Mo'at to have you be shown by the end of this week. That way it's not too much." Jake held your hand and squeezed it tight
You stared into his eyes. Everything about him was so different. His hair, his body, the way he talks, walk.
But what seems to not have changed, was the physical contact of reassurance. You missed it. So much. You inhaled sharply, feeling your eyes burn frowns the incoming tears you refused to shed.
Jake began to explain more details. But not everything, knowing it's too much. Lo'ak and Neteyam stayed and served you and their father as you both spoke.
You began to speak in Na'vi, seeing that your old friend was pretty rusty on his english.
"What about Tsu'tay? Is he alright? Is he okay?"
Lo'ak and Neteyam glanced at each other at the mention of their uncle.
"He's doing well. Still as salty as ever." Jake said with a small chuckle. You smiled fondly at the thought of the other Na'vi man.
"I. . . I want to see him. Please. . .?" You gave Jake those puppy eyes of yours. Jake sighed and looked at his sons for a second opinion.
Neteyam and Lo'ak smile and nod.
Jake signaled them to go fetch Tsu'tey.
"Hey, Y/n. Baby I'mma need you to do something for me." Jake held you in place. Making sure the two of you are making eye contact.
"I've been talking about me, my family. But I need you to tell me about you. What your feeling. . . What you remember?" Jake made sure to be gentle with his grip.
You paused. Thinking back to everything, and everyone.
Your jaw clenched, feeling uneasiness creep into you. You glanced away, your palms began to sweat.
Your hands trembled. You started to notice the incoming panic attack. You looked up to Jake and smiled.
"I'm fine Jake. I killed Lyle. I killed Quaritch. I destroyed the ones wm ughho tried to rip away what I had left. . . . Honestly, I feel at peace." You spoke, shrugging at the last part of your sentence.
Jake's eyes squinted a little, before speaking.
But you cut him off by wanting to see Tsu'tey again. Desperate to see another familiar face. Hoping nothing has changed with him.
"You are speaking nonsense! Now leave me be." Tsu'tey spoke, clearly tired, as he waved off Neytiri and her sons.
"Tsu'tey!" Neytiri was stern as she grabbed the older man's arm, preventing him from leaving.
"She is here! She is our gift from Eywa! The warrior we were promised! The warrior that will help us, heal us." Neytiri looked so genuine. Usually, Tsu'tey would take Neytiri serious and never question her or Jake.
But this was you, they were talking about. The young girl Tsu'tey loved with all his heart could offer in such a short time.
"Uncle, mother is right. This Y/n woman, she is here. And with father right now!" Neteyam stepped in, seeing that his Uncle didn't want to believe what his mother was saying.
"Yeah man. She wanted to see you." Lo'ak spoke up.
Neytiri looked at Tsu'tey from hearing that. "You see. I will never lie about this. . . About her."
Tsu'tey was still looking at Neytiri like she was crazy. But, that stopped when they heard someone shouting his name.
Everyone looked to where they heard the voice.
Tsu'tey watched as a tall Na'vi girl ran towards their direction. Everything was going slow motion for Tsu'tey as he immediately recognized who it was.
You looked the same. Had some of your old war paint on you, faded. The same top you wore that day. The same hair style, the same everything.
You stopped in front of him, that same stupid smile he used to hate on your face
"Tsu'tey--" you reached out to him, blinded by joy to even notice the look on his face. But the man was quick to draw back.
You pause as your smile falters.
"No. She is not Ma Y/n"

Survivors Guilt
Sequel too, Stages of Grief
Tumblr media
Time passed.
Your Avatar body could not be found, so your human body was buried next to your mother and Grace.
Jake became Olo'eyktan. Jake tried to refuse that title, but Tsu'tey insisted. Tsu'tey can no longer function as the leader of the clan, when he was still in deep mourning for you.
Tsu'tey refused to take on a mate. Still being in love with Sylwanin. And if he did have to take on a mate, that means he would have to have a child.
But he had only one child. And that was you. His sweet, strong little girl.
Tsu'tey never failed to visit your grave. Having flowers he'd know you'd like. Of course he would give flowers for Grace and your mother.
Tsu'tey had to admit, he became a little jealous of Jake and Neytiry when they had kids. Seeing them made him think of you.
Neteyam and Tuk especially. Both of them reminded him so much of you.
Neteyam was a great young warrior, smart and quick on his feet. You were the same, not as smart as Neteyam yes, but he saw you in the young Na'vi boy.
And Tuk. Oh, she was just like you in so many ways. The way she smiled when she found new things. The way she clings to Neytiry. A mommy's girl just like you were.
Jake's kids were a little scared of Tsu'tey. Tsu'tey always had a stone cold face. Saying little, and very aggressive when training the boys.
It was clear that for some reason, Lo'ak was kinda more favored by Tsu'tey. He spent more time with Lo'ak. Giving him a little more training time.
Lo'ak was reckless. And his recklessness could get him killed.
And Tsu'tey didn't want Jake and Neytiry to feel the pain of losing a child. It was the worst possible feeling ever.
Mo'at awoke from a vision. One that was the greatest news for her and the clan.
She called for Jake Sully and Tsu'tey.
"Eywa has given me a vision. A warrior has come in our time of need. One that will destroy our enemies. And heal our lost." Mo'at said as she held her hand to her chest.
It has been 4 months since the RDA came back to Pandora. And the two Na'vi men have been doing their best to protect the clan.
"Who is this warrior." Jake spoke. Tsu'tey stayed silent. Weary of this information.
". . . This warrior is broken. But with the help of Toruk Makto. It is for them to know the time to reveal themselves." Mo'at doesn't know who the warrior exactly is. But she does know, this warrior will give the clan hope.
"Lo'ak! We are not supposed to be here!" Neteyam scolded his brother. But Lo'ak scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"It's okay bro. We're still in the area. This isn't RDA territory." Lo'ak says with a smirk.
"Uncle Tsu'tey said we aren't allowed here." Kiri says as she looked around I'm weary. All types of glowing moss she hasn't seen before.
"Tuk." Kiri spoke. Tuk giggles as she ran to Kiri and held her hands.
The part of the battlefield where Mo'at sensed for it to be left alone. So everyone did. Well, clearly not everyone
Spider chuckled at the sight of the siblings
"GASP!"
A body broke out of a mountain of moss. Covering them hole. Gasping for air as they were able to get the upper half of their body out.
It was dark, but the neon plants around her provided all the light she needed.
The young girl brought her hands up and observed them in disbelief.
The girl pulled her feet out from the moss and tried to stand. She stumbled and used a tree. She slowly looked down her stomach and sees the big scar left from her fight with Lyle.
She traces the the scar with shaking hands.
Still processing what has happened. Suddenly, she hears a scream.
Her fighting instinct kicked in fast.
Running through the forest to the direction she heard the scream. Climbing up a tree to see exactly what is going on. There, she sees a boy.
A human boy. Fighting off a Palulukan.
She acted quickly and jumped off from the tree. Once you got off the ground, the Palulukan moves it's head to see the Na'vi. The Palulukan growls at you.
You hissed back. Threatening to kill. You slowly made your way to cover the boy while keeping eye contact with the Palulukan. The beast huffed and walked away.
You sighed and stood up straight. You turn around and go to the boy.
"Are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?" You asked in panic. Worried the boy was hurt in ang way.
The boy seemed to be in shock since he didn't really respond. Your eyes wondered down to see his calf was bleeding. A big deep rip running across his calf.
"Oh no. . . Okay. Let's get you back, okay?" You picked him up effortlessly.
"What is your name? Can you show me which lap you stay at, little one?" You asked looking down at him with a small smile.
The boy stared at you in awe. "S-spider. My name is Spider."
You chuckled "Cool name. I'm Y/n. Now let's get you somewhere safe. Okay?"
He nods. As you began to walk. But stopped when you heard another voice
"SPIDER!"
You turn around and see Na'vi kids running your way. You tilt your head as they came closer.
"Oh no, Spider!" A girl who you could tell was a few years younger then you.
The girl looked up to you, panic I'm her eyes
"What happened?" She asked. "Palulukan attacked him. He is not supposed to be here. Are you all his friends?"
They all nod. You take a good long look at them. You've never seen them before. You take another look around you.
Everything was cleaned up. No trace of the battle
How long were you out?
"M-medics. We gotta get him patched up." You spoke. The others agree. You continue to carry Spider. Along the way, the others introduced themselves.
You all got to the lab. And there you see half of the building was overcome by vines.
You step in the building, got your air pack to breath. You set Spider down on a bed and turn to see a bunch of scientists staring at you. A lot of them, you were familiar with
You smile at them and wave
"Hey. Wasup?" You spoke in English.
Some of them ended up sobbing. Causing you to panic. But someone stepped up. It was Max
You smiled again and kneel down and open you arms and pull him in a tight hug. Maz laughed through his tears before pulling away.
"Why- How!?" Max saw your dead body. Buried you with Jake and the others. And your only response; "Eywa"
Max got Norm, showed him Y/n. You and Norm took a moment to have a heart to heart. That's when he broke it to you.
"Y/n. You've been dead for fifteen years. A-and during that time." Norm sighed, hesitant to say what next.
"The RDA came back."
You felt. . . Hell you don't know what to feel. That long? You understand months, a year or two even. But fifteen years?
You were only with Eywa for a few hours? How could that be? You stayed in place after being told that. You didn't speak, didn't move. Norm got worried. He decided to get in his pod and get Jake.
He knows if you see him. You would process this a little better.
"Jake! Jake!" Norm made his way quickly to his friend. Jake looks up at Norm and gave him a questioning look.
Norm stopped in front of Jake, Neytiry and Mo'at.
"You're not going to believe this man." Norm smiled. Not able to contain his joy. He was about to Speak, until he sees Tsu'tey. He quickly shut himself up.
"I- umm. . . "
"Come. We need to talk privately." Norm dragged Jake away. Once at a far spot away from Tsu'tey. He spoke again.
"Y/n. It's her. She's back!" Norm had the biggest smile on his face. Jake frowns, but chuckled nervously "Heh, come on buddy. Did you drink something? Let's get you to Mo'at--" Jake tried to pull on Norms arm.
But he pulled his arm away out of frustration.
"I'm not drunk damnit! She's here-- alive. And in the damn labs sulking!" Norm took a deep breath. "I told her what's been going on in Pandora. She hasn't spoken or moved an inch. S-she needs you man. More then anything." Norm finished off, feeling helpless inside.
If your mind is still stuck fifteen years ago, to you, your mother just passed away a week ago. To you, you died just early in the morning.
And now waking up to a different Pandora? That is a lot for a sixteen year old kid.
Jake felt weary about this as he walked to the lab with Norm. But he wants this to be true. He wants to see you again.
You don't know how many nights he stays awake. Thinking of you. Thinking of how stupid he was to have a child fight. He knows if your mother was still alive, she would have strangled him for even thinking of having her little girl hold a gun.
Ever since Jake had children of his own, he was afraid. More afraid then he has ever been.
Jake remembers you said something about your brother who died back at earth, but your mother was here in Pandora.
He can't imagine the pain your mother must have felt when she couldn't even attend her own son's funeral.
And then you die. . .
You were so skilled. Had the biggest fighting spirit Jake has ever seen on the field and braver then any other Na'vi warrior. But all of that skill, got you killed.
Jake was scared, if his kids found out about how Quaritch died, who really killed the villain. They would want to be just like you. Want to fight like you, die like you.
And just the thought of that scared the living hell out of Jake. He couldn't lose anymore kids around him, losing you gave him enough nightmares. So he had everyone who survived the war, knew who you were, knew your story.
Not speak of it.
Not to his kids, not to their own kids. And never conversate about you, ever.
Not only because he feared his kids would follow your foot steps, but mainly for Tsu'tey. Poor man couldn't get over your death. It was sad for the whole clan to watch him became a completely changed man.
Along with the other warriors you fought with. They had great respect for you and how you sacrificed everything for the people. If you had lived, they would follow you where ever you lead them.
If it wasn't forbidden, your story would be spoken of all over Pandora.
But now your back, and Jake doesn't know what to do if he actually sees you.
Hug you? Hit you and scold you for fighting in your human body? Cry and beg for forgiveness for everything he had done that lead you here?
Jake and Norm were about to get into the lab, but Max rushes out in a panic
"Shi- Y/n! Sh-she left. One moment she's where we left her, then she's gone!" Max was on full panic.
You don't know the limitations of where you can go? What if you run into the RDA? What if you got hurt or worse!?
"We have to send a search party-" Norm was cut off by Jake "No. I know where she is. Just. . . Just stay here."
Jake began to walk away. "Jake!" Max shouted, causing the man to look back at the two, anxious for Max to just spit it out.
". . . She took Spider with her."
Jake felt his heart drop to his stomach
"Shit." Jake cursed under his breath as he begins to run
Meanwhile
Spider saw you leaving the lab. He wanted to go with you. Wanted to thank you for saving him. He feels like he ows his life to you.
So that is what had him on the battlefield once more, he got slightly nervous as you and him sat on top of the abandoned mini lab.
"So. . . Spider. . . Is that like your real name or?" You trailed off. Spider smiled and let out a little chuckle.
"No. Umm but I do like being called Spider tho. Full names Spider Socorro."
You hum a little. Your ear flickers as your tail began to sway a little more aggressively. But calmed it down before Spider could notice.
"How bout you? Is it just Y/n? The others look like they know you." Spider asked with curiosity. You gave him a small grin before looking back at the nature around them.
"They worked with my mom. And then she died. . . Then I kinda went MIA. And yea. Just Y/n"
Spider expression falters, he wanted to question why you went MIA. But decided not too "I understand. I lost my mom too."
You glance at the boy. Your ears slick back. You put your hand on his head. Your hand nearly covering his whole head!
He looks up at you, a little surprise as he sees your kind smile. It was clear that you must be an Avatar right? But you were wearing Na'vi clothing.
So were you half breed like Lo'ak and his siblings?
Is that why you were so nice?
"Have you ever played catch Spider?" You suddenly asked.
Jake rushed to the only place he could think of. The place you died.
Once he got to the battlefield, he's in utter shock as he watches you throw a stone back to back with the son of the man you killed. The man who killed your mother.
"Wait, why aren't you throwing it back to me like I do to you?" Spider asks. You were only tossing the stone underhand.
You laughed "Because your small. And trust me, I have a strong throw. You? Not so much. Now throw harder!"
Jake ignored the fussing thoughts and reasoning. Right now, he was just watching two kids playing catch.
You glanced over to where Jake was. You dropped the stone.
Your breathing increases as overwhelming feelings took over you. Jake took more steps forward into the light. A smile gracing his lips.
You laughed and ran towards your dear old friend. Jake laughed through his tears as he opened his arms.
He catches you when you jumped into his arms.
He silently thanked Eywa as he held you tight. Afraid to let go even after a while of hugging. You chuckle a little "Jake, I can't breathe." You say nervously.
Jake let's go but kept you close, cupping your face. Smiling down softly at you. Taking in every second of this moment.
Jake can't wait for Tsu'tey to see you again.

Stages of Grief (Avatar x Deaf! Reader) FINAL PART
@ssc7514
Part 5, Book 2
Tumblr media
Jake and Neytiry were going caln to caln to gather people for the war.
As they did that, you and the other warriors trained. You taught some of them the ways of the RDA. What they were capable of. You went as far as teaching most how to use a gun.
Tsu'tey tried to talk to you, and you didn't mind. But you would brush him off when he brought up your mother.
He hasn't seen you shead a single tear since your mother's passing. And he remembered what you said, if you don't mourn properly, you will end up hurting.
Tsu'tey walked over to you while you were fixing your song cord. His heart warmed at the sight. He still rememberes when you called him your father.
Did you really feel that way for him?
"Ma Y/n."
Your ears perk and take a glance at Tsu'tey. You stand up and gave him a greeting "Ole ngati kameie, Tsu'tey"
He smiled and walked over to you as you sat back down. He watched as you added another bead on top of the one he had given you.
He sighed "You are doing it wrong." He took your song cord from you.
He started to do it for you. You didn't mind. You watched him doing it with a small smile. Your smile faded away when you started to see how much Tsu'tey looks like your mother at the moment.
You look away, frustrated at your own thoughts. You don't know what do. Your anger is building up every day. The only time you let a little of it out, is during training.
Tsu'tey notices your silence. He looks to you, he sees how tired you look. But he also sees that look in your eye. It was dangerous.
"Ma Y/n. . . There is something I need to know. It is only natural for me to know where your heart lies."
Those words made you chuckle.
"My heart?"
You look at him with one that was as cold as ice. You stood up, refusing to look at him. "I have buried the last member of my family."
" My heart was buried with her."
You try to walk away. But Tsu'tey was quick to grab your hand. He stood up to look at you I'm the eye, and turn you to do the same.
"What about Jake. Neytiry-- the people!" He pointed to his chest "Me. . .?"
The last part, broke your hard expression. Your eyes soften as you look at Tsu'tey with that same, valuable look you used to show so much.
You hang your head down. Shaking your head while trying to push Tsu'tey away.
"I can't--" you inhale sharply, then letting out a sob. This caused Tsu'tey to only pull you closer.
"No-NO!" You push Tsu'tey away out of anger. Not toward him. But to yourself.
"I will not! I will not simply cry and do nothing. . . I'am done loosing my family. I am done doing nothing but cry all the time!"
Tsu'tey watched as you burst in anger through your tears. It was a painful sight.
"I will kill Quaritch. I will kill anyone who gets in my way. And if that means pushing you all away"
You felt numb. Not physically but emotionally. Your words shod be hurting you, but it's not.
"Then so be it."
Tsu'tey watched you storm off. He looks down at your song cord in his hands. He holds it to your chest. He realizes now, that your song cord might be short because of this war, and this anger that will drive you to the end.
It was time. And you were ready to destroy the RDA. And give a special someone a taste of your dagger.
You want Quaritch to die slowly. And be the last to die. You want him to watch everything fall. Everything he has worked so hard for, burn.
You wanted him to feel pain. Your pain.
You flew on your Ikran besides Neytiry. Jake gave you all the signal when to attack.
You ready your bow and arrow.
"Let's give 'em hell boy." You spoke to your Ikran, who roared in response. You smirk at that.
Once Jake gave the signal, you all didn't hold back.
Tsu'tey made sure to fly close to you.
Your ears perk at a familiar sound. You look to where Tsu'tey was. And see beyond him, was a missile.
"Shit- Tsu'tey! DOWN!"
The two of you dive down. But nearly got crashed from an aircraft. Tsu'tey acted quick and struck an arrow through the aircraft.
You didn't pay attention of what was going on around you, too focused on Tsu'tey, you didn't notice another aircraft.
The aircraft shot at her. Hitting her arm and leg, along with her Ikrans wing
"UGARGG!" You and your Ikran cry out in pain. The pain doubles due to the bond, causing the Ikran to fall mid air.
"Y/N! Ugh!" Tsu'tey tried to make his way to you. But was cornered.
You fall into the branches and leaves. Your bond disconnected with Hawun. You two hit the ground hard. But Hawun was able to swoop under you fast enough to brake your fall.
You groan in pain. But that pain was quick to go away when you realize where you are
"HAWUN!" You were quick to get off Hawun.
"Oh. . . Oh no. No no no. Ma Hawun." You caress Hawun's face. You nuzzle your nose against his beak.
A single tear came from you as Hawun drew his last breath.
This was your last straw.
Na'vi were fighting near you. You have watch them die. Everything was going in slow motion. All of these lives.
All of this fighting. All for what?
A piece of metal? Money?
For the selfish reasons you can't even comprehend. Reason that got your mother killed.
*Ma Y/n! Can you hear me!?*
It was Tsu'tey. You press the button on your neck
"I copy. I'm on ground. I'll fight here."
Was all you said. Turning your inner-coms off. You pull your blades out. Running towards the battle field. The other Na'vi watch as you doged the bullets.
Taking down the bots. Ripping off the hatch and pulling out the person controlling it. You roughly through the person at a bot that was going to shoot at one of the other Na'vi. Saving them.
You slashed through the others. Taking the sky people down ruthlessly.
The other Na'vi see your bravery and strength. Following you is what they decided to do. A warrior you knew asked you what they need to do.
"Those who know how to use the guns! Grab them! Brake the hatches! KILL THEM ALL"
Everyone cheered at your command and did as you told. You look ahead of you and see Lyle. You let out a growl.
Lyle sees you and smirked evilly
"Get ready princess." He mumbled to himself. He's been wanting to destroy you for so long.
You play with your blades between your fingers. All you see is red. Blinded by rage as you ran to Lyle.
You fight him with all you've got. Finally letting out your rage. Like a wild animal going feral. Growling, clawing at him.
It was scaring the hell out of Lyle. Putting him on edge a little.
You disarmed Lyle. Suddenly, the other RDA's started to use flame throwers. You curse to yourself, knowing the others can't handle any more of this.
"FALL BACK! RETREAT! Ugh!" You get hit in the back of the head. You groan and look behind you. Lyle had a big knife to match the big ass bot he was hiding in.
"Your mama and Quaritch ain't here to save ya now princess." He chuckled out. You growl and stand back up. You ignore all the pain as you hissed at him.
You grabbed something from the ground and pounced at Lyle. But he wasn't as physically damaged as you. So he easily pushed you to a tree.
He pinned you to the tree, and there, impaled you with the knife.
You cried out and kicked your feet.
"Bye bye princess." Lyle says as he was ready to pull the knife out. But you grabbed on to the metal hand and was somehow able to pull the knife in deeper.
Lyle was surprised and tried to pull out. But the knife was stuck to the tree now. You meet his panicked eyes.
You chuckled, blood staining your teeth. He watches as you pulled up the a grenade. His eyes widen in horror.
"Time to die. You bald headed demon." You pull the pin and threw it hard.
" *GASP!*" You gasped for air. Falling out of your pod. As you were still gasping for air. You look up to see a mask.
You killed Lyle and many other RDA. But you weren't done. Not until you get your actual target. You grunted as you opened the small glass door to the mask and press the button to breath
You look back at the pod you came out of. That was next to the one your mother had.
". . . "
You grabbed a gun and ran out the door.
It wasn't over. Not yet. You weren't going to be satisfied, you refuse to rest until Quaritch dies at your hands. Even if it's the last thing you do.
You don't know why, but something told you to go to the place where Jake's hand body rested.
But you trusted you instincts.
And there you see Jake, struggling to get up, Neytiry stuck under a Palulukan. And finally Quaritch.
Your rage came quick. You ran fast past Neytiry and jumped high. Stabbing Quaritch in the back.
Trying to stab at the metal and wiers. But you were in your human body now. And weren't as strong.
Quaritch didn't know what was on his back and just grabbed it, slamming you hard on the ground.
His eyes widen as he sees your face.
"Y/n. . . "
You struggled trying to get out of his grip. Seeing you stuck under Quaritch metal hand, Neytiry tried harder to get the Palulukan off of her.
Jake was able to get up. He had the large knife from Quaritch's bot.
Quaritch snaps out of it when he noticed movement at the side of his eye. He blocked Jake's attack. You look over to Neytiry who was desperately trying to brake free from the dead animal on top of her. You stumble, trying to make it too her. But you ended up crawling. Your bodies suddenly being half responsive, and the other half, not so much.
But Quaritch sees you
"Oh no missy." Quaritch grabs you by your feet. You scream while reaching out to Neytiry.
"Y/n! No!" Neytiry shouted.
"Stop this now Y/n!" Quaritch shouted. But you were too busy kicking and screaming.
He but more weight on you. Causing you to stop moving and look at him.
Quaritch didn't want to hurt you. He really did mean it when he thought of you as his own little girl.
How could he kill you? Why can't you just see from his point of view? Why can't you just stay by his side as his daughter and take over?
"Do it." You spoke with venom laced in your words.
"Kill me! Kill me like you killed my mother--"
No. This wasn't supposed to happen. This isn't what Quaritch wanted.
"--stop it Y/n. . . "
"Do it! KILL ME GO DAMNIT! KILL ME LIKE YOU KILLED MY MOTHER!" You shouted, tears finaly
"Stop that. Y/n please. Baby-" Quaritch looked Vannurbl. It would almost make Y/n feel bad. But clearly, she was have a brake down at the worst timings ever.
"You killed her. . . You killed my mommy" You continue to sob as you hit the metal arm weakly.
". . . My mommy" You cries your little heart out. Jake saw the perfect moment. And this was his moment.
Things were going fast. Quaritch and Jake were doing a one on one.
But then Quaritch broke through the small lab where Jake's body was. Jake was down, Neytiry couldn't fight.
Your body was too weak from the blows you received. It was unbelievably painful. Quaritch was going to kill Jake. He was going to kill everyone you loved!
He was going to take it away from you. Again
You cheek the wound that was hurting you so much.
". . . "
You gathered was little strength you had left. His hatch was open. You grabbed Neytiry's arrows. You call for Quaritch.
The man turns, he wasn't able to react fast enough. You jumped high and drove an arrow to his chest.
You made sure to contain eye contact with Quaritch as you drove the arrow deeper.
"For Eywa." You say with a smirk.
The bot falls to the ground. You stumbled off. Falling to your knees.
"Y/n!"
Both Jake and Neytiry run to you.
"You did it little one! You did it!" Neytiry couldn't hold in her joy as she grabbed you and hugged you tight.
You and Jake chuckle. Jake smiled weakly.
He was proud. And knew your mother would be too.
". . . Y/n?" Neytiry notices your small amount of movement. She pulled you away, trying to look for what expression you had. But her eyes wondered down to your chest.
"MA Y/N!"
It was Tsu'tey. The RDA retreated. And he knew to come back to the area where you and Jake's human body rested.
He stopped as he saw Jake and Neytiry hovering over a sky human. Tsu'tey sensed some wrong.
He quickly got to them. And saw you.
He never saw what your human self looked like. But he knows it's you.
"No." He let out a small whisperer.
Tsu'tey quickly grabbed your body and carried you.
"We must go! Get the people to the tree!" Tsu'tey was stopped by Jake.
"We can't brother." Jake held back his tears as Neytiry was already crying.
Tsu'tey shook his head in confusion. You gently put your hand on his chest.
"My -*cough!* my avatar. Is damaged beyond-" you groaned in the pain you were experiencing. It was clear you haven't heard fully from the pain of dying in your Avatar. And now dying in your human form was going beyond.
Tsu'tey had to gently lay you back down.
"I will get help." Jake said as he stood up. But you stopped him.
"No! -no. . . Don't leave. Please don't leave me Jake." You cried out.
Jake inhaled sharply. He reluctantly stayed.
You smiled through your tears. You were dying. But you had the ones you loved with you.
Quaritch was dead. Now you could finally rest.
You looked past all three of the Na'vi. And saw the beauty of the forest once more.
"So. . . Pretty"
.
.
.
.
"Ma Y/n?" Tsu'tey spoke. Your eyes were wide open. But he couldn't see life in them. He couldn't see your happiness, your innocence. Your anger.
Nothing.
"No. Y/N! This can't be!" Tsu'tey pulled your small body in his arms. Holding you close to his chest, rocking back and forth.
Screaming, crying your name. Begging Eywa to not do this to him. For you not to leave him
𓅪○𓅪
"Mom?"
You walked around the lab. And calling for your mother was just natural for you.
You see the only person in the lab and call for your mother once more.
The woman turns around and smiled brightly.
"Baby. My baby!"
You run to her with a big smile. Hugging her, but nearly knocking the both of you over. Both of you laughed.
The two of you talked for what seemed like hours. About the past. The present. The future. Which lead to your mother needing to tell you something.
But you brushed her off and wanted to dance.
Your mother couldn't help but brake a small grin as you forced her to slow dance with you.
"I want this to last forever." You mumbled as you held her tight. Her smile faded away. She slightly pulled you away and cupped your face.
"My baby. I know you want to be together forever. Buy it is not your time."
Your face went sour and frown in confusion. Then turning to anger, then back to confusion.
"What? No. I-I need to stay with you!" You are slowly understanding what she is saying. And you don't like it.
"I know. I know my sweet girl. But it is what Eywa wants. And she wants you to continue. She says it isn't your time." Your mother knows sh doesn't have much time left. So she needs to do this fast.
"I love you. And I know so many more will love you." Your mother caressed your cheek lovingly.
"No. No this isn't fair!" You shout in frustration.
Your mother smiled sadly. Time was up.
"Protect them"
"Wait! No mommy-"
"GASP!"

The Reymiani People.
Just a Na'vi clan I made up. And the family in charge of the family are OC's
The Reymiani people are the ones who live in the dry lands. A place where it rarely rains, small amount of plants around. Kind of like a desert.
The leader of this clan, Za'amil fali milak'ta Romal and his Tsahik, Phamu tili'aka fumba. The two had four kids.
Their oldest daughter, Ska'ani Zamil fa'til, who commands a special group of soldiers named, Algozn, that contained of weomon only. (Age 16)
Their oldest son, Nacim'a fumba'si Rom'ul. He commands another group of soldiers named, Sholun fie, that contained men only. (Age 18)
Their youngest son, Ra'amil. He has recently come of age, and is training to be the next 'Eyktan'iani' of the Sholun fie. (Age 15)
And lastly the youngest of them all. Rimacen Phamu'za si Skana. She is the baby of the family. She has yet to chose her path of her future. She can train to be in Alogzn. Or be the Eyktan'iani of Alogzn. But the young Na'vi desires to be the next Tsahik.
The Reymiani people use Ikrans and surprisingly to some clans, Palulukan(Thanator). Unlike the Palulukan's in the rain forest, these one are loyal to the ones they are bonded with.
Similar to the Ikrans. They will pair with one Na'vi and one Na'vi only.
Traditionally, a young Na'vi that is coming of age and is going through rites of passage to become an adult, must tame a Palulukan. And make a first hunt with them.
Once you do that, you are automatically seen as a warrior.
When a child is born into the clan and that child has elder siblings, those siblings must make an oath to protect their sibling for life. That can only happen if the older sibling(s) have passed their rite of passage.
Sibling love is very important to the Reymiani people. The bond is great, occasionally, others can make that kind of bond with others who are not blood related to them.
That is what the Sholun fie and Alogzn do. They do a ritual that bonds all of them together to fight along side each other, and becoming officially apart of either group.
Only the leaders or generals have tattoos. For the leder of the clan, they should have Tattoos on their arms. Showing to be protecter of the clan.
As for the Tsahik, they have tattoos around their eyes or on eye lids and on the heart. Showing they are eyes of Eywa and heart that is pure.
The generals, the tattoos go on their backs, symbol as a shield of the clan.
Honestly, idk about the skin. I feel like they would be a lot darker tone of blue. Due to the exposure of sun they experience.

Stages of Grief (Avatar x Deaf! Reader) pt5
Part 4, Final Part
Tsu'tey painted your face and body with white. A proud expression on his face. You smiled at him the whole time.
You were too happy to remember your grudges. You and Jake held hands while smiling at each other. The ceremony was beautiful.
Then came the after party.
The dancing and singing had you in a trance. Tsu'tey and Jake were in a group with other men, celebrating. While Neytiry dragged you up to dance. Your mother and Grace watched from afar.
You caught your mom watching. You smiled brightly at you and ran over to her "Dance with me!" You laughed out. Your mom giggles as you pulled her towards the fire pit. You and Neytiry dance around your mother to urge her to dance.
She eventually did. Tsu'tey and Jake watch from their group.
"She is now a woman. She will become a great warrior." Tsu'tey spoke with a grin. Taking a drink and setting it down. Jake chuckled. His eyes couldn't help but stray to Neytiry. He didn't fully listen to Tsu'tey as he was distracted by how beautiful Neytiry looked.
"She will make a perfect mate soon, for a good warrior" Tsu'tey spoke once more. Jake choked on air. "Whoa whoa. L-lets not get too speedy. She's. . . She's only 16 man." Jake chuckled nervously.
"She has passed all her rite of passage. She finished the ceremony. Soon the time will come when a warrior chooses her and she choses them." Tsu'tey had faith in the men in his clan. And that whoever you chose will be great.
Your mother held you closely to her chest. Singing an old song from a movie her grandmother was obsessed with. Tarzain? Whatever the name of it was, the song was catchy.
"Have you told her yet?" Grace spoke as she watched the small daughter and mother moment.
Your mother frowns and shook her head "She's a baby- my baby. When shit goes down. I don't want her to be near any of it."
You only knew half of Jake's deal. You don't know about the danger the Na'vi were in. If you did. . . Your mother doesn't know what you would do.
You might look a lot like her. But you'll always be just like your big brother.
You got into the pod more early then Jake. Tsu'tey offered to take you out to help patrol
You walked up to Tsu'tey with a smile. He smiled back as he greeted you good morning.
"I have something to give you." He says as he got something out of his pouch. You tilt your head, your tail swished in curiosity.
He handed you a bead that was in all white. Black paint on it, with dotted and line patterns on it. You frown a little confused.
"Every Na'vi has a song cord. You are one of the people now." The older says as he smiled down at you fondly. Your ears perk up.
You tail starts to wag a little as you look up at him with a smile. You begin to go into a fit of giggles
You couldn't help it. You ended up jumping up and down in excitement and joy. Suddenly, you hugged him.
"Thank you! Thank you so much dad! I love it!"
You then paused. Processing when you had just said. You slowly pull away and see Tsu'tey in utter shock. Frozen in it if you could say.
"I- I'm sorry-" you all hear something from afar. Animals coming and running fast. Like they were running away from something.
The others were quick to get on their Dierhorse. Since you didn't have yours, Tsu'tey pull you up to ride with him.
Once you all got to the destination. You watched in horror, see a big machine with the RDA logo on it, destroying the tree of voices.
You felt your heart sink to your stomach, all those memories, all those loved ones memories, lost.
You didn't know what took over you, but you got off the Dierhorse and ran towards the machine. Tsu'tey shouted for you but you didn't listen.
The sounds of the machine crushing the branches hurt you. Like it was crushing your bones. You wanted the horried sound to stop.
You climbed onto the machine and find a hatch. You used your knife to prey open the hatch. You finally got it open. Ripping it open with your bare hands.
You ripped out the wires and started to stab at the battery like an animal. You even used your teeth at one point for one of the thicker wires.
Suddenly, there was a small explosion that caused you to fall off. "OOF-" you hit the ground hard you stumbled as you tried to get up. Tsu'tey ride over to you and grabbed you by the back of your neck.
Roughly picking you up and putting you back in place.
"What were you thinking you Skawang!?" He shouted as he signaled the others to retreat back to home tree.
You didn't answer and look over the older mans shoulder and see the machine braking down.
You sighed and slowly slumped against Tsu'tey's chest. "Y/n. Are you even listening to me?" Tsu'tey stopped scolding you as he noticed your shaky hands.
He sighed and used one hand to hold one of your hands to try and stop shaking.
You hugged your mom. At the moment, you wished you weren't hearing anything that was going on.
"Tsu'tey, will lead the attack!" Ektukan spoke loud and firm. This was the last straw for the sky demons. It was worse enough they had taken his daughter.
You nuzzled in deeper into your mother's neck. She used one hand to cover your ear as she held you closely. You were still shaking, a small side effect from the explosion.
You closed your eyes tight from the sound of the cheering around you, causing you to hold your mother tighter. But your ears perk up at the sound of Jake's voice.
You turn your head to see Jake and Neytiry coming together.
Jake tried to calm down Tsu'tey. To not carry on with the attack. But you didn't want that.
You felt resent and hate towards the RDA. Why were they making things worse? Can't they just leave the people alone??
Then suddenly, Jake confessed his deal with Quaritch. But what caught your attention. Was the part of the deal you didn't know. Destroying the forest, and the people.
"We- we tried to stop them!" Grace shouted. You pause. You pull a little away from your mother and stared at Grace.
"What?" You spoke. You glanced between both Grace and your mother.
"Both of you?" You pull away fully from you mother. Your mom was quick to keep a hold of your hand.
"Why. . .?"
"Baby, listen to me-"
"No- No! Let go of me!" You spoke in a whisperer. But it was harsh. Not wanting too much attention. Neytiry screaming at Jake was enough drama for the people.
"Ole'lu kehe nulkrr nga lies" You practical hissed at the two. Why were you always left in the dark? Why did everyone always leave you alone?
Suddenly you blacked out. Some warrior who knew you from training was quick to catch you. Some other warriors who knew you quickly went to check on you.
Tsu'tey didn't notice you, too much anger towards Jake blinded him.
You sat in your cell, close to tears as you had your knees close to your chest.
You hear nothing. You've been in your Avatar for so much and long. Not hearing a single sound was almost foreign to you.
Nothing but silence. And your thoughts. You inhaled sharply. Your hands shaking violently. Your negative thoughts invading every part of your brain.
'Weak'
'Crybaby'
'Stupid'
'Alone. Always alone'
.
.
.
.
You want your brother back. You want your Buba.
You began to sob. You hated crying. You didn't like the sound of your crying, even if you can hear it now. You were sure it sounded horrible.
Suddenly, the door opened. You quickly look up to see Trudy.
"Come on babes" she said quickly as she grabbed your arm. You stumbled a little. Almost falling. But your mother was quick to catch you.
Suddenly you all were running to the ships.
Your not fully sure what the plan is. But you know your going with it.
One you all got to the aircraft. You helped getting Jake in first. Suddenly, you catch a few sparks from the side of your eye. You jolt and quick look behind you.
You make eye contact with Quaritch. The man stops shooting and lowers his gun. You two stare at each other for a long time.
You felt your own heart being chipped away slowly. You trusted Quaritch. You thought he was different. But you were wrong.
Why did you always trust the wrong people? What was wrong with you
You climbed in the ship. You sighed as you sat next to Jake as the ship took off.
You all sat silently. Jake taped your hand. You look to him. He sees your tired expression. He feels guilt wash over him. How could he drag you into this?
'I am sorry. I should have been a truthful friend to you.'
Your eyes widen. When did he learn sign language? You smile at him. Maybe you trusted the right person. Just this once
You looked to your mom. She looked weird. You grab her hand. But you noticed something. Blood.
You took her hands away from you stomach and see blood spreading her blue shirt. You look to Grace. And see she had a gunshot wound as well.
Jake left to try and ask for help. But you refuse to leave your mother's side. You weren't there for your brother when he died. There is no way you are leaving your mother.
Jake came back, and said they had to get your mother and Grace to the tree of souls. Quick.
You got yourself into your Avatar and out a mask on your mom.
You used your Ikran, Hawun, to transport you and your mother while Jake had Grace.
Once you all landed. You payed no mind to the others and carried your mother's body straight to the tree of souls.
You gently put her body down. You kneel down and cup her face. "Mommy. Mommy you have to stay awake for me okay?" You spoke in a shaky voice.
The people began to chant. Mo'at doing the same.
You were scard. Probably more scared then you've ever been in your whole life time.
You mother smiled and took your big hand and squeezed it. "My baby. . . Can you hear me?" She whispered. You smiled and did your best to keep the water works from coming.
"Yes. . . I hear you. I hear you mommy."
Your mother smiles and put her hand on her heart, moving yours to that same place.
The glowing roots started to fade.
". . . They are with Eywa now my child." Mo'at spoke. Loosing a mother at such a young age. The older Na'vi couldn't help but feel for the child.
". . . . " you grabbed your mothers lifeless body. You held her bridle style and turn away from the tree. Walking past Neytiry, Jake and Tsu'tey.
You felt nothing. No sadness. The only thing you felt.
Was rage

Stages of Grief (Avatar x deaf!reader) pt 4
Just a reminder that the reader has a strict platonic relationship with everyone!
Part 3, Part 5
You stood by your pod as Grace complained after finding out Jake was working for Quaritch. You felt rather conflicted.
You loved Quaritch, and know how he can get. But this was a little too much.
Once everyone left and you were alone. You called Quaritch up.
"Hey! What you need me for baby girl!" Quaritch said on the screen with a small smile. You could see Lyle in the back, causing you to frown.
'I want to speak to you. Alone.' You also spoke in a small voice. But you were firm with it.
Quaritch looks around and signaled some people of his team to leave so he could talk to you. Some of them roll their eyes.
Always with the special treatment with you.
Once they leave Quaritch spoke. "Did you want to tell me about your day? It's not noon yet hun." Quaritch had his usual smile on his face.
He notices your the stern look on your face.
"I know about your deal with Jake. Why do you need to know more about what we are doing?" You spoke this time. Louder.
Quaritch paused. He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.
He felt like this conversation wouldn't be fit to be over face time. So he suggests you come to him. So you did.
Leaving a little after bed time and heading back to HQ.
You got to where Quaritch was. The two of you got into a small heated argument. But Quaritch, he was a man with words. Especially after he formed a tight bond with you.
You see, at first he thought of just using you. Seeing that you were just a sad kid, desperate to be noticed. Resulting in rebellious actions.
But the more you stayed by his side. The longer he was with you. The more he actually started to care. And you two have known each other for awhile.
And he cares. A lot. He could even go as far as saying he sees you as his own.
You were strong, stubborn and very smart. But what he valued more, was your loyalty. Your loyalty towards you mother mainly. Which he envied slightly.
Even after your arguments, the harsh words you and your mother went through. You stayed loyal to your deep love for her.
And he sees you are slowly doing it to him.
So he used his words, actions towards you, to calm you. And made you calm down. You were no longer mad at him now.
But you now don't tell him too much when calling him.
You forgive Quaritch. But you won't forget.
Now was Jake.
Oh how you were more mad at him then anything. Because, you assumed he was your friend. Not a friend because of orders, but willingly.
All the things Jake has said to you, the bonding moments you had together. Was it for not? Was he acting? Jake even spoke about his brother, and you two connected In both of your losses.
But did he do that to get closer, too draw out more information?
It hurt.
You became distant with Jake, spoke less to him. You stopped acknowledging him when you and Tsu'tey had dinner together.
Tsu'tey, of course saw your change in attitude. Tsu'tey knows little about you. You talk a lot, but he doesn't know much. So he decided to try and talk to you, about more personal stuff.
Like, your mother. He sees you love your mother. And respects that love and loyalty that you have for your mother.
He asked, if you would would describe your mother. What would you say.
". . . Beautiful." You said that with confidence, and a smile that would light up like the plants in the night.
But he still sees something is bothering you. You are happy, but not for long. So after a week of your strange behavior. Tsu'tey talks to you about it.
"What is bothering you, 'eveng." He spoke lowly. You chuckle at what he called you. "Nothing is wrong." You replied. Tsu'tey frowns and lightly smacked the back of your head.
"Do not lie. If you hold it in, you get hurt more. That is what you told me, no?" He says as he forced you to look at him.
Oof- he used your own words against you.
You sighed as you looked down at your lap, fiddling with a small bracelet that one of the Na'vi children gave you.
"I-. . . I have found out. A friend. . . " You don't even know if you should still call Jake a friend.
"I have found out they have not been true. Being friends with me just because they were told to. I assumed they truly wanted to be near me. But I was wrong. . . It makes me sad and mad. Sad mainly though." You made sure not to make it that this person you spoke of. Didn't sound like Jake.
". . . I see." Tsu'tey, honestly felt like his plan was backfiring on him. He knew you might get emotional. But thought you would be more violent. But you just sulk. It was a little painful to see.
"He didn't have to lie. It would hurt less. But now knowing this. I feel lonely then ever. At least you were open with your feelings about me." You grumbled.
Tsu'tey whinced a little at the last part. True, he didn't like you at all. Like, he really hated you.
But he sees you. And sees that you are hurting.
"Yes.it is true. I hated you. Hated that I had to be near a sky demon."
Your nose scrunched up and you looked at him, giving him a 'wtf' look. Causing him to chuckle before he but his hand on your head. Keeping you from looking away from you. He looked you in your eyes
"Ole ngati kameie"
Your ears slick back. You searched his eyes, his face. For any false in his words.
But he smiled at you.
You couldn't help but see a flash of your brother. This caused you to cry. Surprising Tsu'tey. When you started to cry slightly louder, he panicked.
"Promise. . . *sniff* your not lying right?" You sobbed out. Tsu'tey calmed a little.
And probably. For the first time. He saw you as a child. A sad, small helpless child. He pulled you close and Pat your head as you tried to calm yourself.
"I am not lying. You will not feel alone with me." Tsu'tey said as you struck your head to calm you.
Whoever this friend that has made you feel this way. He swore to make them regret making you feel this way.
It was time. You were to get your Ikran. You were excited. Scared a little. But excited mainly.
"Do you need me to carry you?" Tsu'tey spoke as you were staring up at the climb to the nest. You scoffed and hit him with your hand. Causing him to laugh a little.
Jake watches from afar as you and Tsu'tey joke around. You and Tsu'tey have gotten close. It's a nice feeling to know that Tsu'tey might have some trust of the dreamwalkers now.
But Jake couldn't help but feel a little envy for Tsu'tey. As you were ignoring Jake now. What has Jake said wrong? Did he do something wrong?
He can tell that the relationship between you two was suddenly falling apart.
He does care for you. You remind him a lot of Tommy in all honesty. Your love for everything, and everyone around you. And the slight naivety you had.
It was nice and fresh to be around.
The first month after being with the Na'vi Jake noticed this thing you would do. You would waddle when you would follow either Jake, Tsu'tey or Neytiry. It was funny and cute.
He didn't want to tell you. Because you might stop if you did find out you were doing it. And that's not what he wanted.
You all began to climb. You were so focused on the clouds you were going through, you missed a step. Jake was quick to catch you and get you balanced.
"Are you okay?" Jake asked in slight panic. You grunted as you got out of his grip and nodded. You sign to him a 'thank you' before catching up with Tsu'tey who stopped for you.
Tsu'tey saw the small interaction. And got a little suspicious. You used to always cling to Jake. Was this connected to what happened a few weeks back?
You all got to the nest. You don't like being last, but you don't like being first either. So you decide, to just go first.
You step up to go first. But was stopped by Jake.
"I can go first." Jake said to you. You frown. Ready to protest before Tsu'tey pipped in.
"Fine. Let Jakesully. Go first."
You look at Tsu'tey with displeasure. But he gave you a look to just stand by. Neytiry takes your shoulder gently and gave you a gently reassuring smile.
Sometimes you can't believe this was the same Neytiry who seemed deadset on killing you and Jake.
Jake and Tsu'tey glared at each other for a quick moment before Jake left and went to find his Ikran.
You and the others watch anxiously. You couldn't help jump in worry for Jake. But he was able to pin down and close the Ikrans trap.
It was your turn. The Ikrans around you flew away after taking one glance at you. But one stopped and stared at you for a long creepy moment.
The pattern was like one of a cheetah in a teal greed and white. It roars at you. Showing it's fangs. Leaping straight at you.
Tsu'tey shouted at you to close its trap and pin it down. Adrenaline taking over you. You stopped thinking all together and just hurried to top the Ikran. You were quick to try and make the bond. Right before the Ikran slammed you against the rock wall.
But you weren't phased. You made the mind. And felt all of the Ikran. Their breathing, heartbeat.
His everything
You made the first flight, sealing the bond. You felt free. Soaring through the sky. Tsu'tey following you.
He stayed by your side the whole ride. He watched you smile like a child that was given candy as you flew around him playfully. He responded doing a few tricks of his own.
He truly meant on not feeling alone with him.

Hi I love your work so much omg. If it’s not to much could I make a request about reader being apart of the Sully family but they forgot their birthday based on the audio from TikTok “how old are you? 25. I’m 30”. And reader not really caring cause they expected it because they are the black sheep of the family and the Sully family tries to make it up to them in any way possible. Idk if this makes sense but I love hurt/comfort lol. Thank you:)

You sat on the sand near the shore. Taking a small brake for the day. In peace.
You inhaled the air. Feelin good as you breathed in. The silence around you was nice.
"Huh?" Something hit your feet. You look down to see a small red shell that had washed up. You tilt your head, your tail swishing side to side.
You picked it up with a small smile. You held it up to the light, seeing it glitter almost. You look down and see the usual Ilu you ride on.
You decide to go into the water and swim to her. It seemed like she was calling for you. When you got closer, you realize she had something in her mouth.
A necklace?
You took it from her mouth. It was so pretty. You admired the dark beads and the thick seaweed that in tangled with them.
"Do you like it?" A voice spoke. You turn and see Aonung. Your face dropped the moment you saw him.
"You." You say bluntly.
"I- I made it for you. As an apology. The red shell is the center piece. . . I'm sorry. For what had happened." He mumbled. You frown as he got closer with his own Ilu.
You toss the half done necklace to him and hop on the Ilu. "This freak doesn't need your pity." You say coldly. You turn your Ilu and try to go away from the boy.
"Wait!" Aonung was quickly to block your way.
"I'm really sorry. Just- uh. Can we start over? As friends. Please?" The boy pleaded.
You were hesitant. But he seemed genuine, and your father wants you and your brothers to be friends with Aonung.
You nod reluctantly. Causing Aonung to smile. "Good." He said as he had come closer to you. "Come. Let's hang out, we are friends now."
You felt your tail flicker to the side. You were not used to his friendly behavior. He lead you around. Taking you to other beautiful places within the reef.
You hate to admit it. But you actually had fun with Aonung. The two of you were back on shore, it was almost eclipse.
You sighed deeply. Enjoying the way the colors of the sky had changed slowly. Seeing some fishermen and kids from afar retreating back to the village.
Aonung gazed over to you. Taking in every detail of your face. Your eyes. Your lips. The way you smiled. He didn't know when or how he had gotten these kind of feelings for you.
But he was quick to surrender to them.
You notice his eyes on you and look back at him. You were taken aback by the way he was just staring at you with that stupid smile on his face. You chuckle and smile a bit
"What?" You ask. But Aonung just shook his head. He grabbed the red shell you found earlier
"Hold on." He said as he began to put the shell on with the necklace. "How'd you learn to make jewelry." You asked
"My mother. And Tsireay, she would just force me when she's board." He mumbled as he made sure the shell was attached on the right spot perfectly.
"Can I. . .?" He wanted to put it on for you. You paused, and thought for a moment. You nod and let him.
He got closer to you and put it on for you. You smiled once it was put on you. You played with the red shell, admiring how pretty it looked when put together with the whole thing.
"Y/n. I have to tell you something-" Aonung cut himself off when you looked at him with a new shine in your eyes.
Your pretty, pretty eyes.
He could stare at them forever.
"HEY!" You two snapped out of it and quickly turn to see who it was.
"Oh shit-" you were quick to stand and get at a fair distance from Aonung. It was Neteyam. And he didn't look happy
"What are you doing with her!?" Neteyam shoved Aonung further away from you. You panic slightly, not wanting another fight to brake out.
"We were just hanging out. Mawey tsumukan" You say as you walked to Neteyam and hold his arm to calm him down. But he was still tense.
"Where is Lo'ak." Neteyam spoke firmly to Aonung. You frown, your ear flickered at the way Neteyam sounded.
You look at Aonung, confused at what Neteyam was saying.
"I-. . . I was going to tell you." He said, looking into your eyes, and yours only. You were confused at what he was saying, but you didn't feel right.
"Lo'ak left to apologize to him. But Lo'ak never came back. Only this one and his friends." Neteyam explained to you as he took hold of your hand so he could squeeze your hand.
Your eyes widen and you slowly look to Aonung. And the look of guilt written all over his face. You felt your heart drop.
Lo'ak was found. And he was safe. That's all that matters to you now.
You decided to cuddle with Lo'ak that night. Lo'ak didn't mind, but he was worried about you. He knows that you have attachment issues.
So it might take a few days until your not clingy to him as much.
"I'm okay." Lo'ak whispers as he strokes your head. You were already asleep, but he felt like he had to say it anyway.
"Aonung likes her. . . " Neteyam mumbled. He clenched his jaw as he said that. You might act all independent and strong.
But deep inside, your big brothers know you're still that scarf little girl.
"I'll punch him again." Lo'ak says, making sure to not speak too loud so you won't wake. Neteyam scoffs "And get scolded by dad again? You know you'll get our tsumuke in trouble, right?" Neteyam spoke sternly.
"I know. . . I just don't want fish lips trying to get with my sister of all people." Lo'ak grumbled. Some might think it's only fair to let Aonung try and court Y/n since Lo'ak has a thing for Tsireay.
But Lo'ak doesn't want that at all. Unlike Aonung, he's actually nice to Tsireay and tires his best to be nice to Aonung.
Lo'ak doesn't want someone like Aonung to be with his sister! No way!
"Yes. We don't want him to be mated with her. Let alone court her. But if you think about it little brother. We have no say in it. Our sister can choose who she wants to love. Only she can choose." Neteyam says as he stared down at you fondly.
He hopes you find a man who loves you like their father loves their mother. Worships you in every way possible. And protects you when they are no longer around.

Stages of Grief (Avatar x Deaf!reader) pt3
Part 2, Part 4
Once you woke up from your pod, your mother didn't waste any time to hug you. She didn't let go until Jake finished explaining where their Avatars were.
You walked into a room where most of the operation of the RDA was going on.
"Oh! There's my girl!" Quaritch said with a big smile. His arms open wide. You smiled and hugged him back.
Quaritch has been like a fun uncle to you. He always let you do the things your mom never let you do. He even let you try his beer.
Which he made you promise not to do ever again because you didn't like it. In a way he was a good influence.
You've warmed up to him a lot. He was so kind to you, he even learned sign language. Which made you like him even more.
You looked over to Jake and waved at him.
"Thank you for protecting me last night." You spoke as you signed. Jake smiled and nods.
"N-no problem. . .?" He responded. Not sure if you understand him. He doesn't know any sign language.
"Don't worry kiddo. She can read your lips." Quaritch said, still having that smile on his face as he had you under his arm
Jake watched you and Quaritch interact.
Jake made a deal with Quaritch, and that was to get intell on the Na'vi and protect, as Quaritch puts it 'his girl'
Jake assumed your mother and Quaritch were married then divorced? But now he knows that you weren't related to him at all.
You left, saying you would wait for Quaritch later on to eat lunch.
"Like I said boy. I don't care if she's in her Avatar or not. You protect her." Quaritch smile dropped when he spoke to Jake.
Jake frowns a little "Before, you said she was special. Said you had something in store for her?" Jake says, not really feeling good about Quaritch's intentions.
Quaritch chuckled "Don't get me wrong marine. Y/n is like a daughter to me. She has potential in her, that her old lady just won't accept." Quaritch just scoffed while look down at the map of the forest.
"Especially with her own brothers recent passing, poor girl needs to. . . Let the anger and sadness out. Ya know?" Quaritch sighed out. Jake was taken aback by this.
Because Quaritch looks genuine when talking about your feelings. But mostly, seeing that you and him might not be so different.
"And! Her skills with the blade! If she learns from me more. She'll be a natural killer! Haha!"
Jakes expression dropped instantly at that.
Tsu'tey wasn't much of a talker. He only corrected you on certain things.
"You breath from here. Not there." He spoke harshly. You rolled your eyes. Unlike Jake you didn't take the bs Tsu'tey would give you.
Some of the villagers would see the two of you arguing here and there.
"You are holding it wrong!" Tsu'tey shouted. You roll your eyes as you and played with the played in your hand.
"I know how to work a blade!" You shouted back. Tsu'tey prefered to teach you from afar.
"That is your way. You are learning the people's way!" He was right. But you were just so used the way Quaritch has been teaching you.
But today was a day to take a brake. And you wanted to explore. But Tsu'tey had duties to attend to, and would not let you leave his sight.
"I'm bored! Can't I just go with Neyteiry and Jake." You whined. He grunted in annoyance
"I do not like this any more then you do little girl. But you stay by my side. You will only be trouble."
You sighed at his words and stayed in place with a pout. You stayed silent and gave Tsu'tey the teenage cold shoulder. He wasn't effected by it.
But at one point you were just so board. You snuck off without him noticing.
You walked deeper into the woods. Admiring everything around you. The beauty of life, the sounds. Oh, how the sounds nearly brought you to tears.
Most would think you would get used to gaining your ability to hear again. But every time you wake back up in the pod.
Your hit with the harsh reality, that it's only temporary. It doesn't last. The reality of a lot of things never lasting.
Then suddenly, all the sounds around you went silent.
That's when you thought about your brother. The times he would pick you up from school. How he would refuse to let your hand go until you said/signed 'I love you' back to him. His smile, his smile, his walk.
His everything.
You don't know how much time as passed, but you were crying. About your brother no less. Your mother always said you needed to mourn him properly. But you didn't, too scared at what your thoughts might turn.
"Y/n!"
Jakes voice instantly snapped you out of your thoughts. He was quick to be in front of you, kneeling on one knee. Cupping your face.
"Why are you crying? What happened, are you hurt!?" He was in a panic.
You shook your head as he wiped away your tears. "I'm fine. I'm fine."
Tsu'tey and Neyteiry came out from the trees and bushes.
Jake turned around, pulling you up from the ground and kept you under his arm.
"You were supposed to keep an eye on her" Jake held his grip on you tight.
"She left my side. It is her fault." Tsu'tey snapped back.
"No-"
You tugged on Jake. He looked down at you and made eye contact.
Neyteiry and Tsu'tey watched as you two held long eye contact. Jake huffed in annoyance. He dragged you away. Venting out on how you could have gotten hurt, and how you should just stay with him and Neyteiry.
Seeing that Tsu'tey didn't really care for you.
You smiled to yourself. It's nice to know Jake cares so much. You sometimes feel alone, especially with the adults. Jake might just be one of the few adults that you feel like you have a real friendship with.
Feeling sorry for what you did last time. You made sure to follow everything Tsu'tey told you to do. He was a little more harsh after you left his side.
You felt like a burden to Tsu'tey. And he actually showed you that you were. Clear by his expression. When you didn't get a word right. When you got anything wrong really.
But after nearly a month passes by. He seems to be slightly nicer. He even stand 6 feet from you now. Which is a lot of improvement from him standing as far as he could stand to yell out his instructions to you.
He at one point, he even started to help you carve out a handle for your new blade.
The two of you mainly discussed about the Omatikayan people. The way they should address others. Celebrating life and death. The coming of age process that you and Jake were currently going through.
He has become more willing to teach you. And even smiles here and there while talking to you.
Jake has even convinced the clan leader to let Grace and your mother come back and teach.
You got off your Dierhorse and ran ahead of Tsu'tey. He watched confused as you ran into the arms of a woman.
You ran into her so hard she fell over. The two of you laughed. Your mother pulls you up and you hug her again.
Tsu'tey and Neyteiry, along with Jake catch up to where you were at.
'I missed you'. Your mother laughed.
'We saw each other this morning darling.' You rolled your eyes 'yeah. I know, but this just hits different'
Jake, Neyteiry and Tsu'tey were talking with Grace. Tsu'tey notices what you are doing with the dream walker woman. And decided to ask.
"Oh, well. Y/n doesn't have the ability to hear in her human body. So she and her mother use their hands to communicate." Grace said as she let a small smile form her lips as she watched the two of you.
"That is her mother?" Neyteiry spoke. Looking at the way you interacted with your mother. You were so touchy, seemingly refusing to let go of your mother's hand as you two spoke without your hands at one point.
"Yup." Grace replied.
You had the biggest smile Neyteiry has ever seen on your face. Her heart seemed to warm up at the sight.
But she was not the only one.
"Come. I take you somewhere." Tsu'tey spoke. You tilt your head before looking back at the clan that was still having dinner. You and him have already finished eating.
"Oh- um okay?" You started to walk up to him. Following behind. You hear him sigh, he scared you by taking his hand into yours.
"You are still too slow." He said while shaking his head. You felt two things right now. And you didn't know which one should go first.
Call him out and say he's old and is growing white hair, or just be happy he seems to even be touching you.
But your thoughts were quick to fade away as you admire the neon lights from the plants around you. Your eyes lit up in awe. It's not your first time seeing this. But it always amazes you.
You giggled here and there as you and Tsu'tey were running hand in hand. Soon. You two came to a stop. And you see a tree with vines that were like light sabers.
"I was going to bring you hear after your final rite of passage. But, something has told me to take you hear now." Tsu'tey says.
It was the tree of voices, as Tsu'tey calls it. He said it records all memories of the ancestors. How you can connect with them again.
You were once again, amazed by this. But you couldn't help but feel slightly jealous of the let though.
You wished to see your brother one last time. He, your willing to just argue with him if that's the only way to see him again.
"I was wrong about you. You do truly have my respect, Y/n." Tsu'tey spoke without looking at you. Causing you to look at him in surprise. Because believe it or not, this is the first time he said your name.
You smiled warmly.
You then thought of something. The subject might be a little touchy but, you were curious. "Tsu'tey. Were you in the school Grace had? I've always wondered how you knew english."
Tsu'tey inhaled sharply as he disconnected with the tree and slowly looked to you.
". . . Yes. I was. So was Neyteiry, and many others." Tsu'tey looked reluctant to even say a word to you about it. You frown a little, feeling guilty for even mentioning it.
But then Tsu'tey continues to talk about the school. How fun it used to be. The treats Grace would make for them. The fun games.
Then, he moved on to when the RDA attacked. And when they killed Sylwanin. Neyteiry's sister, and his lover.
"The whole clan was in deep pain that day. We shut your people out. Not wanting to lose any more of our people." Tsu'tey stopped. That day was a mess. Just remembing the funerals was enough for him.
You sighed and looked up to the tree.
"I understand. . . Losing someone." You fiddled with your bracelet that one of the little kids had made for you.
Since Tsu'tey was opening up to you, why not you do the same. Tsu'tey shifted himself to focus on you as you spoke.
"My brother past not too long ago. But he died to a sickness I didn't even know he had. Until it was too late." You glanced at Tsu'tey before quickly looking away.
"After his funeral I shut everyone out. Including my mother. I refused to mourn him properly. . . And that lead to a lot more pain coming my way."
You had the a solemn look on your face. "It took some time. Thinking about him was painful. Made me think and do things I usually don't do."
Your words seem to hit a little too close to home for Tsu'tey. Understanding the same thing he felt. What everyone felt when they lost their loved ones that day.
"But one day. I stopped, and finally thought about him. I embraced every bad and good that came from him. And honestly. That's the only way to move on. Embrace it. Feel the pain and sadness before it hurts you more and the others around you." You gave Tsu'tey a small smile.
Tsu'tey scoffed in amusement. You truly were a weird one.
