replaying ARR on an alt and. i know that since we don't DO anything with the whole "tataru running in yelling about how alphinaud has been hurt" beyond it getting our asses to ul'dah, alphinaud is probably telling the truth. but also i know him better than the writers on this instance and this is the kind of guy who had perfect attendance in school by Ignoring all signs of illness and trucking though it anyways. especially since "given to exaggeration" is NOT a trait I associate with tataru. boy you have a concussion

okay i know i've already talked about it before but in light of gunk reaching out the "i support hydaelyn's decision to sunder the world into 14 reflections, but not THIS boss form. what the hell". something that i think we need to accept and love about Momther is that her taste is kinda bad. like this is a wise and happy and loving middle aged woman with a collection of kitschy novelty mugs. she invented the Sparkly Dog With Long Silky Golden Hair That You Have To Lovingly Braid Out Of Its Unsettling Blue Eyes. and she loved this weird ass awful Thang so much. so so much. she left it to you in Her will even. you have to take it to the intersideral dog groomer salon on a weekly basis. like she loves cute and frilly things she would LOVE to put her cat in a poofy frilly white dress absolutely covered in ribbons. like this is very much what she did to minfilia when She called her to become the word of the mother. argos makeover kinda deal. she's matching with the dog for the family picture you'll send your relatives as a christmas card. i mean just look at what ryne looks like. the only scion she ever directly (and consensually) possessed is a cute blonde-adjacent lalafell girl with blue eyes who's wearing a cat-ears hoodie. like Her taste kinda sucks. she never forced anyone to go with it though like i get the idea She would genuinely be enchanted if you loved cute lolita dresses as much as She does but would never force you to wear it if you didn't want to. but She kinda has lame and sorta bad taste. it's endearing even. my mom who loves pretty things and absurdly pink ribbons

Ktisis Hyperboreia voice lines, movesets, misc dialogue

After Endwalker came out, I went thru Ktisis...an incalculable number of times and made notes of all the spoken dialogue for Emet, Hyth, n Venat. I posted it to Twitter but I've moved away from that place so I'm migrating my posts from there to elsewhere.

It's years old now and a bit incomplete but here they are if anybody is interested

Y'all, it's them again, I love them sosososo muchhhh (another ramble🤞)

I really do like it when they just spend time in each other's company (I think my posts make that very obvious HAHHA)

But even the way they interact w each other is so important to me, especially Drake cause it's shown very clearly through his character that he doesn't particularly tolerate people unless they're inside his little circle–and even then, he tends to lose his temper or ignore them from time to time. While he does do that with Lp, numerous times he apologised and tried to tone his frustrations down for his sake, which, the fact that Drake goes through that effort speaks volumes. (YALLL...)

Just in general, their abilities to be together without getting tired is nice, Launchpad is really the only person Drake allows to be a part of both lives;crime fighting and civilian. With Morgana he mainly only wants to see her as 'Darkwing', with Gosalyn and Honker, he would prefer they stay out of his work and stay safe–Launchpad on the other hand, is in both worlds, which truly just goes to show how much they trust each other. (Y'all that's my favourite little detail ever)
