hehehe, i'm so glad you asked! i've actually thought a lot about the wedding traditions of arachia, as we'll see in the later parts of dreadspider...

all i'll say is that they have a veeery peculiar custom! it originated thousands of years ago with the old arachians, and has seen a lot of different interpretations over the years (some tamer than others)

aludora, on the other hand, is fairly standard! emotional ceremony in a place of the gods, followed by a feast and dancing (royal aludoran weddings have had some truly insane, over the top parties– one in particular– which i can't wait to write about one day!)

i've managed to pull together chapter 6, which should be out this friday (for real this time) hehe :)

i put together a little list of my works with some additional info (including the year they take place, if they're a part of a larger universe)

there are also a couple works listed that aren't published yet, but they're mostly done and on my priority list hehe... so i thought it would be fun to give a bit of a preview to what's coming

Omg I keep checking the poll you posted to see if it changes, I’m loving both ur fics but I’m dying for the next chapter of anatomy of a dread spider! Safe to say you live rent free in my mind a lil lol

aww this is so sweet!!! it looks like the poll is going to end in a tie, so just for you i'll focus on getting chapter 6 out first! i'd say it's already about halfway complete, so hopefully it won't be too long of a wait.

the good part about anatomy of a dreadspider is that i have the entire fic plotted out chapter by chapter, all the way to the end, so i just need to hunker down and actually type out the events/scenes of the story that are already in my head :]
