This is a shoutout for all mixed kids!! This is shoutout for whitepassing pocs and mixed kids who are constantly having to defend their own ethnicities because they don’t “fit the bill” of how others dictate they should be. Mixed kids that get “oreo” and “halfie” jokes thrown at them and mixed kids that get told “you’re not x enough to be that” or “lol I’m more x than you are”. Mixed kids that feel ostracized from their communities, who feel they have no where that they belong because they are a part of multiple cultures, multiple backgrounds. Mixed kids that took years to feel comfortable with who they are, mixed kids that are still searching for that sense of belonging. Mixed kids that find no representation of themselves in media, who are often excluded from rallies of diversity. I see you and I love you. Y'all are beautiful and valid. No one can take that from you.

           i guess this is pretty far back since when i deactivated but, when i started this blog i lied about my age. i’m not proud of it, and i really want to push myself behind it. for the past few months i’ve been coming clean and learning to own up to my mistakes.

the setting:  it is the year anniversary of the founding of overwatch.  members,  their family,  government officials,  and press have all been invited to attend the gathering held in celebration:  a charity reception to be held in honor of those who have served, and for those that we have lost in defense against the omnics.
