So. Follow up on my post yesterday: Completely blanked on the fact that I have a test at work sometime this week (I think. I was never given the exact day I am supposed to take it) and my job is dependent on my grade. So I am going to power study tonight, then find out tomorrow when it is supposed to be. If I take it tomorrow or any time after Thursday, then I will do replies tomorrow night. If it is Thursday, then I will reply that night. I just want to make sure I am fairly prepared. Wish me luck and know I will be back within 48 hours!

Guess who is not dead? Me! My laptop did try dying on me, though, but it is thankfully back somewhat up to snuff again. I am going to do replies tomorrow night when my vision isn’t quite so blurry, but yeah! Yay! I guess reply to this if you want a starter or something from Emmett or Micah

“Oh, no– I believe I would’ve looked really graceful while doing so. But why? You look really charming there on the ground.”
“You really wouldn’t, though. Hilarious, but I am incredibly late and need to get going. I don’t trust myself to stand on my own with my shoes. They were made for style, not function.”

— “ i dont know, i think i’m pretty beautiful even after tripping, ” emme grinned, throwing her hands over her mouth as she giggled. holding out a hand while still giggling, she spoke again, “ okay, okay, so impatient !! ”
“I would have to see it to believe it,” Emmett replied as she assisted him. “I am only impatient because I am terribly late.” He glanced down at his watch, realizing it had stopped. “Oh dear! What is the time?!” he asked frantically.

Jensen was giggling the whole time and grinned at the other. “Okay I will, but you look funny!” He offered his hand to the other. “C’mon get up you clutz.”
“Thank you... andIamnotaklutz,” Em mumbled as he got to his feet again. “Be careful. It’s incredibly slick here.”

Meghan covers her mouth to hide her smile as she cautiously bends down to offer a hand to the male, “slowly, i don’t want to fall trying to help you,” she warns him, choosing to ignore his attitude.
Emmett took the extended hand and got himself back on his feet with all the grace he could manage. “Thank you. I apologize for my outburst. I need to go to a meeting that I was already running late for in the first place and this didn’t help,” he explained.

“ i don’t doubt that, but you do look kinda silly! here, ” the blonde extended her hands for the other to take, feet spreading to help her to gain better balance, “ be careful, i don’t wanna end up on the ground too. ”
Em took the blonde girl’s hand, carefully working on getting back on his feet without pulling her down as he did so. “Thank you. I am sorry I was short with you. Today is just not going as planned, and I really did not need this spill.”

“no one said you were incapable of being charming… but with that attitude, no. i’d much rather watch you get up on your own.”
“I am in a rather cross mood. Could you please just assist me? I am late.”

“Hey! I have the ability to be charming even if I slipped on the ice. You would have looked so much worse. Now stop laughing and help me up!”

“Uh-huh,” she mumbled against his lip. She let her dress fall to the floor and pushed his jacket off his shoulders before starting to loosen his tie.
He started working off his own jacket before wrestling with the buttons of his shirt. All the while, he was making sure he never broke the kiss.

“I never did find you all that intimidating, you were always too nice to me. But maybe some other people would find you intimidating. I suppose that is a pretty nice perk.”
“That is because you were always fantastically fun and were the closest to knowing what it was like having powers like my charm. I thought you would like that.”

“It’s never too late for a tux, and if you really wanted me to believe I was worth one, you’d have at least made an effort,” she didn’t really want the tux treatment, of course, and it was clear from her smile she was joking around, keeping the conversation going as way of passing the time while he was in the other room. “And it’d be a real shame if your heart grew a couple sizes, wouldn’t it? Kidding– that’s one way in which you differ to the grinch. You don’t need your heart to start working– you just need to start enjoying your birthday, at least a little bit,” of course she didn’t care whether her drink did or didn’t have ice, and was happy to just take her glass and wait til he was ready to knock them together, briefly. “To you. Another year older, and hopefully, wiser, too,” following suit because it was the polite thing to do, to wait til he made to take the first sip, Rylie took something of a gulp out of her own, not really taking the same amount of time he did to relish the flavor, but quick to pretend she had, “Told ya, didn’t I? Only the top shelf for you, Em.”
“Fine, fine. Next time, you will get the full tux. Will that make you happy?” he joked back. “Birthdays are terrible and no one can convince me otherwise. Or at least all of mine are..” He set his teacup down, knowing the drink belonged in a tumbler, but his were being washed at that moment, and he was beyond caring as long as he could enjoy his drink. “You did indeed. Thank you. Now to get on with opening this most mysterious gift.” He carefully unwrapped the box he knew contained the photos of the sweet girl he had come to consider his only true family in the world. Once it was open, he felt tears welling up in his eyes. There she was, smiling, happy, enjoying life. This was how he wanted to remember her, no matter what happened in their futures. “Thank you, Rylie. I... I needed this even more than I thought I did.”

“I’m not cross. I just hate the system here, and thinking back to what I could’ve been doing is… frustrating, to say the least,” she sighed, before shrugging one shoulder, “I was attending a private Catholic school before I got here, and the reason I got here was cause two of my siblings were already in attendance. Admittedly, I prefer WDA to what I came from– at least I don’t have to wear a uniform– but, it’s confusing. And I don’t like that.”
“I could understand that,” he nodded before listening to her reasons. “That is unfortunate. I don’t have any blood siblings, so I don’t really know what that is like, but I am sure it is never good to have to follow the suit of others just for the sake of following suit.”

“Personally, I’d rather be attending a school that didn’t require such expensive fees to be paid in the first place. Preferably in England, where there’s relatively health school lunches everyday and GCSE’s, instead of… all those STA’s or whatever they are here,” stopping herself before she went off on one, Rhea pursed her lips, the subject something of a sore one.
“I am sorry you could not attend a school that provides the education. That is really rather unfortunate in this country. I would ask what was stopping you, but you sound a bit cross. So I am going to let sleeping dogs lie,” he answered, a touch sheepishly.

“You have read fan fiction, practiced pancake art, questioned whether I would want a teddy bear you won for me at a carnival, and cry at Harry Potter. Forgive me for not feeling the least bit intimidated or scared,” she chuckled. “I don’t think anything will change all that much. Only now when stay in to watch Doctor Who on a Friday night instead of going on a real date it’ll be because we’re secretly nerds, not because we’re secretly dating.”
“I did say bad-ish, and only those without hearts do not cry at Harry Potter at some point or another. That is just a fact. I will agree that I doubt you would ever find me intimidating again, but there are those I am sure that would,” he offered, trying to defend himself, though not making that much of an effort at this point. “This is probably true. Though, one added perk is that I can now tell everyone how incredibly lucky I am because I have you all to myself.”
