Adoring the new Silverglade EC, seriously thinking of moving my home stable there (in game and in rp, and yes I'm still working on rp stuff in the background, it kind of took the backburner for a bit)

Also did anyone else notice the bridge in Valedale got updated too? It looks so much nicer now! Although it's invisible from far away, which is kind of funny.

Two variations on a costume built around the orange batwing saddle pad - undead hunter/jumper and masked dressage rider.

I like to be fancy, so the dressage outfit is my favorite, but I also kind of like the idea of someone who died on the trail and just keeps on riding...

I don't remember if I ever posted about this before, I'm sure I mentioned it somewhere, at some point-- but on the note of Bonnie's H.O.R.S.E. being used to commit actual forgery when it makes shillings. Surely this isn't legal, because why would forgery be legal anywhere? And this is done so blatantly, so why hasn't Bonnie gotten into trouble about it?

I've always imagined that it's the mayor. He's benefitting from this somehow, maybe getting shillings out of it himself, or maybe it's simply been good for the local economy. He's the one pulling strings to keep Bonnie's work beyond the reach of the arm of the law, or has found a loophole somewhere that makes it technically not completely illegal. But I prefer the idea that the shillings are covered up as 'donations' from anonymous people to support the recycling process.

The fact that MC also gets shillings out of this - aside from being friends with Bonnie - is in part, likely a bribery to keep them quiet about it too.

This is why we can't spam the shillings out of the H.O.R.S.E. despite having a lot of recyclables on hand. We got our cut for the day, too much at once would look suspicious.

Fixating on SSO and Creatures of Sonaria at the same time, so I've combined them by turning creatures from CoS into riders on SSO! Meet my majestic kiridian Ryhil Arma~ He doesn't have a horse yet, but he will.

In the far north, beyond the kingdom, all the farmlands and distant hermit dwellings, sprawls a great red forest. The trees, as ancient as can be, bear fleshy leaves and bark of dense colored bone. The crimson grass, for the brief time of year it is mostly exposed, tastes of iron to the creatures which graze upon them, and the flowers smell of carrion. Lakes and streams run blood red, affecting the waters even on the sea which corners the region.

This land, known as the Sanguine Thicket, is said to be cursed, as very few who enter it ever return. A massive, winged beast is said to dwell there, and will pursue trespassers and kill hunters it finds wandering there. The land is considered inhospitable, and thusly mankind gives it a wide berth.

Yet in this unlivable land, one not only survives, but thrives. The Sanguine Thicket has seen its first Celtic Warlander come to dwell there, her handler a strange and admittedly lonely being. They are one another's company, often treading the woodland in the dead of night.

Occasionally, the rider finds need to ascend from the saddle during a ride, chasing trespassers and killing hunters.

You know what’s interesting is that I’ve found myself just…slowing down. I canter a lot more than galloping and I walk in major areas. Like redwood point I’m walking and just enjoying.

I think it’s like…made me have a better time? I’m enjoying the journey

It's on days like these that I find myself immensely grateful that I can always return to Jorvik and ride about at my leisure, without a care in the world. Horses are very therapeutic animals, even when they're only made of pixels.
