"No. Well, yes but actually, I just wanted to ask if this was yours?" James asked, holding out the water bottle, "I saw you on that piece of equipment earlier," he pointed, "Also, your initials are on it," he added, gesturing to the bottom of the bottle.

"Are you waiting for me to get off this piece of equipment?" Aaron asked after a moment as he'd spotted the other waiting not too far away. "I shouldn't be more than five minutes longer if you were."

"Oh no, you're absolutely fine. Even if we're on different teams, quidditch players have to look out for each other off the pitch, right?"

"Well lets go for them for this evening. Can I get you anything as a thank you for the suggestion?" Dorian offered after a moment because he felt a good turn deserved another.

"Hey, don't start talking smack about my team. You don't wanna go there, I'll start talking smack about yours," James retorted, "It's so quiet here, maybe we could do with some chaos," he replied, smirking.

"Tell that to your seeker that I run circles around half the time," Kenz teased back. "I think we definitely nailed it, however, you might need to ask me that again in two hours when Alex and the twins are screaming and not listening at all, and just creating chaos."

"I did not break that piece!" James protested, "I think I put the wrong piece in the wrong place but it's not broken."

"Did you break that piece?" Lily asked, pointing to the weirdly placed one. "I don't think it's supposed to look like that at all."

"I feel the need to remind you that my dad is the head of magical law enforcement in this country," James joked in reply, "Now you're just letting me that I should run in the opposite direction when I see you."

"Well now I know who not to rely on if I ever get myself into some shady business. You'd hand me straight in to the cops." Lulu snorted at his response but after a little careful watching the girl moved back over to the area she had found the phone and practically flung it at the belongings that had been left there before running back. "Next time I'm going to try and steal something off you that can't be mistaken for someone elses." Because no doubt it wouldn't be her last try to wind him up.

"Well, you're talking to me and you seem to be doing alright so far. I'm sure Octavia is around here somewhere too and plenty of your former classmates," James pointed out, "Good, that's a start. Just breathe and find something fun to do."

"I don't know why I'm freaking out so much. It's not like I haven't been to restaurants or anything." Erin shrugged. "I know, I've just got to talk to people, that's always been my issue." She shook her head. "No, no I want to be here. I'm not going home, not yet anyway."

James laughed, "Now that's creative but no, I didn't do that. We just like to include them in our costume choices," he explained, "Don't say that. You'll jinx it and we'll get the wrong type of drama."

"Did you dress them up as dinosaurs because they have a tendency to bite people and therefore you could claim it was simply them falling into method acting?" Sebastian asked the other with a raised brow, glad to hear that the other had seemingly put them to bed so he didn't need to be on the watch out for teething children as well as a myriad of different props. "Not run into any drama as of yet, so I guess you could say that I'm having a nice time. Though, I guess it could be a little more exciting. So maybe some drama wouldn't be such a bad thing, as long as it didn't revolve around me."

"You might be right. I think the scariest costumes have now appeared as it's later. I don't really want to scar my children now that they're starting to form memories," James replied with a laugh.

"Honestly, probably a good thing they aren't here at this point. They are a bit too young to appreciate this costume. I love scaring teens and above... and trust me when I say I have managed to make someone hurdle a fence tonight by just walking in their direction, but even I'm not that sadistic as to want to traumatise little children. So in answer, I am having the best of times..."

"Sorry, I should have texted before we left," James said, smiling apologetically, "Of course, you know you're always welcome," he added as his expression softened. He pulled out his phone, opened the photo app and handed it to her, "Here. You know we've taken loads already."

"That's a bummer. I brought some candy for them but I'll just have to come by with it tomorrow or something," she considered. "I'm sure they were! I can't wait to see the photos."

"I'm glad I've managed to get it right enough for that," James said, smiling, "They did. I love that they set up a trick-or-treating feature here for the kids. They're all getting to the age where they're starting to remember things. It was great," he explained, "Having kids has somehow helped with that, at least at events like this," he added, laughing.

"It's too classic of a costume to mistake," Frank insisted with a smile. "Hopefully they enjoyed the party." He sipped from his cup before answering James. "I am yeah, thanks. Although I'm kind of jealous, going home to get some rest sounds wonderful right now," he chuckled.

James looked at the other, smiling sadly, "You can't live your life not going to events where alcohol is involved," he pointed out, "It's good to test yourself because you aren't always going to be able to avoid being around it, you just need to learn the self-control. Besides, you've got people here to help you if you are tempted," he paused, "But if you're uncomfortable and don't feel ready, nobody will blame you for going home."

"Was this a bad idea?" Erin asked. "I mean, I know it's been a good few months now, but I haven't been to an event like this since and I just... not so sure it's a good idea anymore."

"I'm glad to know I'm somewhat recognisable still. I really think the kids in dinosaur suits make the costume but it was getting a bit late for them," James explained, shrugging, "Are you having a nice time?"

"Hey you," James said, hugging his cousin in greeting, "I'm afraid you just missed the kids. We just got back from taking them to Grandma Molly," he explained, "I'll send you some photos of their costumes later. They were very cute dinosaurs."

"That's a nice thought, that you want more for them than just academic feats," James said, "Not that I'm suggesting you only care about that but you know, still nice to know," he paused, "It's good to see you too."

"It can certainly be unpredictable like that," she considered with a laugh when James spoke about life being funny in that way. "It is good to see you. And so happy too. It's all I could ever wish for any of my former students."

"How about we give the game a rest then and just enjoy a drink? Better than your utter humiliation," James joked.

"I figured as much," he nodded with a little smile, familiar with the other's regular order. "And of course, it's never a problem."

"I do not," James admitted honestly, "None of that sounds fun at all and it sucks," he added, "You don't have to stay if you need to get on with things."

"Not unless you consider governmental paperwork exciting," Eva grumbled lightly at the tasks she had to get to today. "I've got to get shit to figure out something going on with my bank account– that sort of fun adult stuff," she replied with a wave of her hand. "So I suppose I can stick around for a bit too. Not long though since I'm sure the offices will close soon."
