Theseus awoke abruptly, sweating from his nightmare. To help calm himself, he went to go get a glass of water at 3 in the morning.

Looking at the moon still out as he passed by windows on his way to the kitchen, he stopped suddenly when he heard a grunt of stress.

He looked to where the sound was coming from and saw Newts’ door open a crack with a small shine of light peaking though.

‘What is he doing awake at this hour?’ Theseus thought to himself as he slowly walked to the door, knocking quietly with two fingers.

“Oh, come in.” He heard a groggy voice tell him.

As he slowly opened the door, he saw his baby brother hunched over on his bed, writing in a notebook and sitting cross legged.

“Newt? Why are you awake now, you wake up at six I thought.” Theseus said looking puzzled with a confused smile as he sat next to the magizooligist.

“Oh uhm, I haven’t actually slept yet, I’ve discovered a change in behavior of the baby nifflers so I thought I should write that down!” He finished smiling, only for it to drop as he stretched is back to an upright position.

“Well, you should sleep soon.” Theseus said sternly.

“Are you alright there?” Theseus looked at Newt concerned.

“Ah yes I’m okay, just a bit cramped up is all!” Newt replied, closing his book and putting it and the pen aside on his desk, then leaning back into the wall.

“Would you like me to help? Like give you a massage or something?” Theseus offered, like the older brother he is, he always willing to take care of his brother.

Newts face went red, he wasn’t use to help from others, nor was he used to physical touch. As he was about to decline, his back aches cause him to scrunch his face in pain.

“I suppose that would be nice..” Newt gave in.

Theseus let out a hum and quickly sat behind Newt and getting to work as his fingers rubbed his shoulders. Theseus could help but notice adorable huffs of laughter.

“A- Actually, I think I’ll be okahay Theseus!” Newt said trying to stifle his laughter.

“Oh don’t be silly, it’s got to hurt Newt!” Theseus said as his fingers slowly kneaded into his lower ribs.

“Okahay now you’re doing it on purpose- hey!” The smaller boy let out a string of giggles as he squirmed against his brother.

“I really don’t know what you’re talking about.” Theseus played dumb as he squeezed his sides.

“Okahahy! I’m gohohod now! You cahahan stohohp!” Newt snorted out, his face covered in a pink hue.

Theseus took pity on his brother and stopped the attack, he rubbed his back before getting up and turning to Newt now laying in his bed.

“Make sure you go to sleep now, we have to be up early.” Theseus said smiling and closing the door behind him.

“I will.” Newt mumbled, drifting off to sleep.
