Can't stop thinking about a BakuDeku au where even as he funds his suit Kaachan is like, hell no I'm not gonna let Izuku not do hero work, and so proposes that they start an agency together and be hero partners.

Izuku, for the most part, helps with training and is also the "man in the chair" who coordinates raids, cause as Kacchan puts it "Like hell I'd take orders from anyone else. you're the one I want to have watching my back".

Eventually, Izuku gets little camera drone "Deku bots" (yes they have the little ears) he can use for recon and also prototype pieces for the suit he doesn't know is being made, such as cable gauntlets and smoke screens, so he can be out in the field.

And anytime they get interviewed and the reporter treats Izuku as his sidekick or a dispatcher or second, Dynamight will very forcefully call Deku a Hero and his "Partner".

He does not specify what kind of partner. this does exactly what you think it will.

How long does this go on before they actually get together?

i think that if you're going to have an extreme height difference with bkdk....... izuku should be the one to get taller sorry.

I just think one for all, even though it's gone now, definitely altered his dna in some way. he should bulk up and get larger because of it

katsuki may be strong and muscular because he works out, but both his parents are kinda scrawny.

bigger izuku.... bigger arms to hold more of his students.......

with the way katsuki is so anime love interest coded and with the amount of CANON times izuku has just grabbed him or picked him up i think horikoshi should lean into it (JOKING)

In all seriousness. I like that they're the same height a lot. they can take turns resting their heads on each other's shoulders. take turns being little/big spoon. they can hold each other while they cry. things like that.

they're just. the type of couple that takes turns with things like that. i can't like. see katsuki always being the big spoon or izuku always being the one who needs to be held.

I enjoy seeing taller Izuku if there’s a height difference, but I ultimately just like how they are in canon. I like to see them as equals, I don’t like big height differences or power dynamics or anything that would suggest that one has authority over the other.

I do agree though, OFA making Izuku grow more would make a lot of sense, and I think it’d be kinda funny if he’s suddenly towering over Katsuki as adults. We didn’t get to see them stand next to each other as adults, so it’s possible.

I love this picture of Katsuki so much, somehow he looks so happy and free

He had so many inner conflicts in the beginning of the manga and by the end all of them have been solved, and that's perfect character writing

My only issue with his conclusion was his relationship with deku. Deku obviously is a big part of his story and I feel like we didn't get a closure for their relationship from deku's side. It felt so incomplete and empty, or maybe it's because we didn't really get deku's introspection in general

I've grown tired of holding into this one.

OK, so- I started this back in 2023 (you know, when a certain new year sketch was dropped) and I thought I was being a comedic genius, but I didn't finish it at the timeline I set up so I left it be, then 2024 came and I though, 'oh! Let's give it another go'. Same thing happened. Revisit a couple of months later and though, might as well have it ready for the next Easter. So I finally, finished it up.

I planned to wait, but my patience run out. XD

I don't believe iz/ch is canon bc like why would you forget abt the tragic intense sapphic romance you had and build an entire system to help that girl that died for you for some gay boy you had a crush on in hs 😭

same goes for izk. why would you forget abt the intense rival friendship with your devoted childhood friend that died (twice) for you and declared that he wanted chase after you forever and funded your power to make it happen for some gay girl you were friends with in hs

The entire plot of MHA hinges on the question “what makes a hero, a hero?”. There isn’t a single plot point that doesn’t tie directly back to that question. And it’s completely, perfectly bookended by Izuku’s version of the question: “Can I be a hero without a quirk?”

The fact that this question is answered both times by Katsuki, and the answer goes from “quirkless=useless” to “not only CAN you be a hero, you ARE a hero, and I’m gonna personally make sure you get to be for the rest of our lives” IS INSANE
