The designs! Trip is so gorgeous! And the cicada killer wasp demon looks better than the mental image I had of the character when writing.

The comic perfectly captures the atmosphere and vibe of the scene that I had in mind! Words cannot describe how happy I am that this exists!

So one day i started thinking abt ao bing in illegally bound verse and i was like. Well i fucking love nezha reborn what if it was literally just that ao bing and he's like. Ao lie's much less rebellious and more successful cousin that shows up to scold him and half heartedly nudge him towards reconciling with his family. And it's funny because the design we settled on for ao lie very clearly took cues from NR ao bing so they just look like the same person at slightly different ages and with different levels of snootiness

But then i was like well what if instead of a snooty annoying older male cousin ao lie had a snooty annoying older female cousin. And i already had a female NR ao bing design from a few days earlier. So i tweaked it to be a bit more modern and then it just spiraled out of control until i had ao bing and li yunxiang in illegally bound doing comically toxic yuri and. I can't lie i actually really like this duo i think they might make an appearance in illegally bound for real
