I guarantee you that most of the hatred the Vinsmoke brothers get is due to them being related to Sanji, if they weren’t the insane amount of hatred they would get would vanish. Granted there would still be people who hate on them which fair cop you’re in your right for that; but people act as if liking them is a betrayal for Sanji which just makes me laugh because he’s fictional ❤️ he’s not real ❤️ he’s an object ❤️ Like look at doflamimgo vs the Vinsmoke brothers both categorically play the same role (abusive ‘evil’ brother that serves as antagonist) and yet one gets appreciated for his ‘complex and good writing’ whilst the other doesn’t.

I disagree with the headcanon that Judge operated on his kids constantly when they were growing up (I understand it however it’s contradictory to how canon portrays judge)

Like Judge has shown before that he does have parental care for his children (not in the traditional sense).

And the fact he does keep this behaviour up even when we remet him in the present is interesting to me because well why? Reiju says that she (and basically all of them let’s be real) are bound to obey judge no matter his word; yet he’s calling 124ji his beloved sons and how he couldn’t work out a deal with big mom before he refound Sanji because she demanded a blood connection and Judge refused. There’s no need to do all of this if he genuinely did not care about his children and with their augmentation. Even during the Vinsmoke Assassination, Judge never throws his kids under the bus (or even chastises them for ‘losing’ against the Big Mom pirates)

He gets irritated that 124ji are not taking the matter seriously but he doesn’t start talking down on them or sacrifice them so that he can go free.

This is not me downplaying his abuse to all of the kids by any means necessary these two things can co exist at the same time, but I do think it’s interesting how he still continues the ~care~ he has for his kids.
