Extremely unique reinterpretation of Luigi (the man in the middle of the top panel) found in an officially licensed 1989 Super Mario Bros. 3 graphic novel from Japan. Here, he is called "Prince Luigi", is not related to Mario or looks anything like him, and is Peach's fiancé.

It is unknown why the author decided to keep Mario and Peach with their standard designs while taking such creative liberties with Luigi.

I had the idea of an evil Ditto wearing a DBZ style scouter that has info on random Pokémon on it. Then Ditto could use it to pick a Pokémon and become that, to do crime!

It is interesting how that outfit is almost the same as his original. It just replaced the hat and coat with a bow tie, but the brighter colors make it an amalgamation of outfits more clear.

Love how his outfit is clearly different parts sewn together because he's that long a guy but he somehow found this huge ass bow tie
