sharp heels clicked on the uneven gravel. they weren’t entirely sure what brought them here --- they’ve never been sure of anything, only that their new body took them where it was familiar. peering through their fringe, they noticed death in human skin. by god, he was entirely wrapped in black. things never change. the thought had their brows furrowing and shaking their head. still, their body dragged them closer, though it kept to the shadows as he watched the young man from afar. a twig snapped underneath them and they hissed at the noise, jumping feet away from the noise. they couldn’t be seen, it would ruin everything.
