"You're an asshole," she panted. Her head involuntarily lolled back at the feel of his lips on her ear. Pregnancy only made her more susceptible to his antics. Not that she had much luck resisting him before as it was. Determined, though, she resumed rolling her hips over his.

Orson wasn’t typically the grand romantic type. Hollis was the person who brought out a more amorous side of him. He had lied a little to her. Said he couldn’t come to this conference with her. Instead he had decided to surprise her. She hadn’t seen him yet. She looked lovely, a little more rotund with her hand on her bump. Of course she hadn’t given up form fitting clothes. Not that he was complaining. He decided to stand off to the side, waiting for her to notice him.

He was infuriating and damn well knew it, but she would try her best in her exhausted haze. She gently tugged on his ear with her teeth and slowly rocked her hips against him. "It's always been your favorite hobby," she breathed as she released his ear and leaned back. He picked up on that little trick years before, and it had always gotten under her skin.

Hollis grimaced and rocked her hips in protest. "You're lucky you get off on torturing me." Their foreplay was always conflicting because she loved when she could frustrate him but not necessarily when the roles were reversed. She kissed his neck just below his ear and then took his earlobe between her teeth.

"If you were shocked," she began as her hips bucked beneath his touch, "I'd say our marriage was doomed." She carefully pushed herself onto his lap, deliberately brushing against him and effectively pushing his hand closer to its destination. She let out a soft moan at the anticipation.

She kissed his neck affectionately. The banter was certainly energizing. With a defiant huff, she pulled his hand to her chest and directed it down over her rounded belly. "I'm never too tired for this," she hissed, guiding his hand between her legs.

"What? What if I don't stop moving?" Hollis couldn't fight the smug smirk curl upon her lips any longer. She was getting the exact reaction she wanted as she shimmied a little more against him. "What are you going to do?" she mused as she took his nearest hand in hers. She was contemplating guiding his hand where she wanted it to go.

They were one and the same that way, wanting to be over the top and dramatic while expressing their affection for one another. "It is a lot of work," she said with an exaggerated yawn. She wiggled back against him, barely suppressing a smile.

Hollis rolled her eyes and laughed. "I would have liked to have had you here the entire time, though." She didn't think there would have been much of a difference either way, but she always enjoyed his company regardless of what they were doing. Her body sank into his as she welcomed his arm around her. "I have to allow it. This baby drains a lot of my energy."

She found herself sitting in front of him, her back against his chest, and her head snug in the crook of his neck. He made her feel safe and warm. He always had. "You didn't have to surprise me here," she mumbled. Her hand idly skimmed over the water. She didn't care what his reasoning was, but sometimes it was just fun to poke the bear. She could also sense he was overthrowing something and wanted to distract him a little.

Hollis happily watched her husband disrobe. She'd not tired of the sight in well over a decade, and that didn't seem to be changing anytime soon. She made no real show of stripping herself, but she would make it up to him one day or another. She hooked her thumbs on either side of her panties and pushed them down her legs. She then expertly unhooked her bra, letting it fall to the floor with a soft thud at her feet. She closed the distance between them and took his hands in hers and carefully stepped into the tub.

She rolled onto her tiptoes and sweetly kissed him. "None of this extra stuff is necessary," she faux-chided as she pulled away. Since their reunion, she was content with just his company, but the pampering was a nice touch. She playfully nipped at his bottom lip. "Go ahead in. Let me know how they water is." She would also need help settling in the tub without losing her balance, but she left that unsaid.

She lay out on the bed, the luxurious comforter heavenly beneath her swollen, aching limbs. Stripping herself from the confines of her conference outfit and then relaxing was the sweetest freedom she had felt in a while. Or at least one she'd always taken for granted before. She almost didn't want to get up, but the allure of a hot bath and the fragrances was stronger. She slowly climbed out of bed and shuffled into the bathroom. "You really do spoil me," she said with a laugh. She walked up to him, draping her arms over his shoulders and smiled at him.

"T'ank God," he said with a deep, relieved sigh. Lavinia was unlike the other women he'd been with, and for that, he was eternally grateful. Otherwise, he probably would have been exiled from the lighthouse right then and there, all of him exposed for nature to take its toll. He smiled as she kissed his cheek, but his face quickly contorted with bewilderment as he realized what she was doing. His hands cradled either side of her head. He closed his eyes in anticipation.

Lavinia didn’t want to be around for her sister’s birthday, so she was going to celebrate it elsewhere. Elsewhere being the coast in a lighthouse with Rohan, but her sister didn’t need to know the finer details. With a straight face Lavinia had told her it was a work trip and could not be rescheduled and she was sorry she would miss her birthday. As a consolation she sent her sister a bottle of expensive white wine and some of the tackiest Rae Dunn items she could find. She was looking forward to some alone time and some drama circumvented. “Do you think Roisin finally punched Luci tonight and I missed it?” she teased when they finally got to the lighthouse. To be fair, she would take missing that for being here instead.

She sighed contentedly. She had no desire to move from his embrace, but she knew she needed to. Reluctantly, she stepped forward out of his reach and pulled at the tie of her dress. "You spoil me." It was a matter-of-fact, and she wouldn't have it any other way. She then proceeded to tug at her dress and shimmy the fabric down her growing curves.

She almost immediately sank back against him and closed her eyes. She welcomed the warmth he provided, allowing the comfort to wash over her as he rubbed her shoulders. The dsy had been far more tiresome than she had realized, so maybe a less active evening was just the ticket. "Only if you join me," she breathed. The jacuzzi tub was more than big enough for both of them.

Rohan grinned crookedly, more than a little pleased with himself. "I hadn't t'ought t'at far ahead." He rubbed his hands up and down her sides as he mulled over what to do next. "I didn't know I'd be met wit' t'is kind of ent'usiasm."
