i’m here + announcements.

i’m here for a short while. work has been all over the place lately, plus i’ve been spending a lot of time with my friends and bf. i might end up doing some re-arranging of my various blogs to help streamline everything and make it easier for me to respond to everything. i’m also getting rid of the ns/f/w stuff and not doing any “adult writing” out of respect of my bf. while he hasn’t asked me not to do it, he also doesn’t fully understand rp and i don’t want to cause any misunderstandings between us, esp this early in the relationship.

i’m sorry about falling inactive on here again. i’ve been hanging out with friends from work a lot lately. i’ve also apparently gotten a significant other. i didn’t expect it to happen. it just..it did. talk about a plot twist, right? anyway, i’m working on stuff for the new version of this blog. i even have icons for sky that i’m working on. see?:

also, as a sidenote, i’m going to be rewriting my rules for the new blog to be more specific about shipping things. i’m not going to shut down trying any ships, whether they be m/f, f/f, m/m, but i do go with chemistry first and foremost. i don’t care if it’s a canon ship: if we don’t have chemistry or if our versions of characters aren’t feeling it, it ain’t gonna happen. also, don’t be afraid to suggest a ship. suggesting isn’t the same as forcing.

also, sorry for vanishing on everyone last night. a couple of friends wanted to go hang out, so i went with them. i can’t go out tonight, though, because i gotta get to work earlier than normal tomorrow.

the more that i cap, sort through, and icon sky from spd, the more i feel the feels come back. he seriously got shat on the most in the series and was clearly hurting, in need of some serious help, and everyone just wrote him off as nothing but an asshole. it took some major incidents for people to somewhat reach out to him and even then, a lot of times they still seemed to somewhat write him off as an asshole. when bridge and jack got new bikes, everyone acted like HE was in the wrong for assuming that he’d get something new and shiny as well and he never did. and then the whole drew incident didn’t help matters. i just...

i’m sorry for not being on here. i’ve been working on @scarfnerd and @fiftywordstm along with redoing this blog completely. i’m hoping that the move and revamp will help with the inspiration. i’ve also been capping spd and iconning sky. i’ll do syd, then move onto capping dino thunder and ninja storm so i can icon kira, tommy, and tori. if anyone wants the caps for any of these seasons, let me know so i can upload and post them when they’re done.
